The quality and freshness of their seafood is unmatched - they are known for their top-of-the catch, fresh fish and shell fish. We love their sushi but everything on the menu is delicious! Kaylen and her staff are always friendly, attentive, and make every visit feel special. We love Turks so much that we host our company holiday party there every year! It’s become a tradition everyone looks forward to! Whether you’re a local or just passing through, I highly recommend stopping by Turks. You won’t be disappointed!”

“This is officially our new favorite brunch spot! Food and service are truly amazing! Scott was our server this past weekend, and he made us feel like we’d been coming here for years. We got the zucchini fritter Benedict, a Belgium waffle with fresh berries and a breakfast burrito with sausage, home fries and fresh pico de gallo. The menu had a nice selection of Benedicts - We can’t wait to go back and try them all! The zucchini fritter and crispy prosciutto complimented each other perfectly, and inspired us to crisp up our own prosciutto. What a creative twist on an old classic! The waffle had the perfect amount of sweetness and the variety of fresh berries (blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, strawberries) was a nice addition that gave it a little tartness. They added roasted red peppers to the breakfast burrito which really made it stand out, and we loved the fresh pico! The restaurant also has a full bar and lots of specialty brunch drinks. There is high-top seating at the bar area, as well as tables throughout the restaurant. We did not have to wait this past Sunday when we arrived at noon, but we were told it does get busy on the weekends, so there could be wait times. Prices were reasonable, which is rare nowadays, and the portions were generous. The quality and creativity of the dishes absolutely blew us away. This place is truly special! Open until 2pm on Sundays, definitely check them out! Cheers and enjoy!”

“Stopped by for a snack, was absolutely delighted by their Frittata, which was offered warmed with Sriracha ❤️ Feeling adventurous on a Friday morning I added a Blackberry Scone which I spied on the baking sheet, warm from the oven. Each was it’s own special delight, both were perfect and a delightful combo as well. I will be back for sure😉”

“Ying Dynasty serves big portions of tasty food at affordable prices. The iced tea is iced Chinese tea - delicious! Very attentive staff, too. Back in the day, Bowl-mor was attached to Ying, but now it's just a memory - and there's more parking.”

“My boyfriend and I got takeout for the first time from Nick’s tonight, in honor of national pizza day. Let me tell you, it did not disappoint. I’ve been wanting to find a really good Greek pizza nearby and this is it. The pizza sauce is sweet and delicious. Plus, they offer sliced linguica which I prefer over ground so that was a huge plus! Best pizza in Fairhaven/Mattapoisett area by far! We also shared an antipasto salad that was fresh with a nice house dressing. Highly recommend trying them if you haven’t already! I will definitely be a regular!”

“G's is the place to go for authentic Haitian food. The food was delicious, and the service was excellent. They have a great little spot in the south end of New Bedford. My family and I will definitely be eating here more often.”

“Absolutely adore The Sail Loft. The restaurant is full of natural light and a harbor view. Clean, airy, serene. The staff are incredibly friendly and professional. The management team and owners are visible and greet us whenever they see us. The food is outstanding. My significant other and I always go with a ceasar salad, with house made croutons, lemon dressing and crispy chicken. It hits the spot everytime. We've also had the brownie sundae - our little guilty pleasure. We have been three times and each time everything has been top notch. The surrounding shops are also darling and worth a visit. Highly recommend Sail Loft.”

“If I could give The Nook more than five stars I would. We came here when they first opened years ago, but moved and haven't been back in a while. Needless to say, it did not disappoint. The pizza was delicious - we enjoyed it more with every bite. Our drinks were unique, incredible, and all the flavors they claimed to be. The owners are so kind and personable. “This croissant Melts in your mouth! Absolute must try!! The owner/baker is an artist who creates every bakery item filled with love. The atmosphere of this cafe is so warm and welcoming, the Italian coffee is so delicious, the cases are always stocked with delicious danishes and usually a unique item of the day. If you haven’t stopped in for a try, you are definitely missing a delightful experience, a coffee lovers heaven, and a foodies fantasy.”

“This review has been long overdue. I swear I’m an unpaid spokesperson for The Baker. I will tell someone about it anytime they will listen. The linguica cheese rolls are THE BEST. The dough they use paired with ground linguica and the perfect ratio of cheese HITS every time. Then they make the best cookies. I can’t say which is my favorite but I get one every time, rotating which flavors I get. Now for coffee — I am iced coffee year round. They make the best iced lattes. 🫶🏻🙏🏻 I personally get mocha and caramel in mine but they also have specials for flavors too. If you don’t like coffee, I highly recommend the teas! The honey peach mango is so good but the new salted cantaloupe tea is SO GOOD. TLDR: The Baker is absolutely fantastic and has something for everyone.”

“I’ve been coming here for years and I’ve never been disappointed. Even though the line can sometimes get long, the service and quality of the ice cream has remained second to none. I had their Pumpkin Oreo ice cream today and it was delicious. My go to order is the Coffee Oreo frappe, it’s the best coffee ice cream in the area in my humble opinion.”

“Everything on my first visit was perfect. My breakfast sandwich was so pretty I couldn’t wait to try it. Of course it was as delicious as it was visually appealing. There were a lot of options to choose from for food and drinks. We didn’t have a problem finding something to try. The seating area is cozy and inviting. We will definitely be back again.”
