“Life long McDonald’s customer. I have been going to this restaurant since I was a kid. I have been to hundreds of McDonald’s around the country and this one is the best. This location sets the standard for quality food, service and cleanliness of any McDonald’s !“

“I didn’t choose Wendy’s.
Wendy’s chose me — the moment I realized every halfway-decent restaurant was either closed, packed, or required me to walk more than 12 feet from my car. At that point, my standards dropped faster than the ice in a Frosty machine during a heat wave. And there it was… glowing like a beacon of lukewarm hope: Wendy’s.

Why did I go?
Honestly?
Because life was already kicking me in the shins and Wendy’s felt like the appropriate culinary equivalent. It’s that point in the day when you say, “Yeah, sure. Let’s eat something that’ll make me question my decisions but won’t kill me as fast as McDonald’s.”

The food?
Warm enough to not sue them.
Cold enough that you definitely ate it too fast to care.

It’s probably one of the “better” fast-food chains, but that’s like saying one haunted house is safer than another because fewer people screamed inside it. It’s still fast food. It’s still suspiciously square meat. It still gives me that special stomach feeling — not quite sick, not quite fine — just a gentle internal whisper that says, “You did this to yourself.”

But hey, I didn’t walk in expecting fine dining. I walked in expecting edible-ish food delivered quickly by someone who looks like they’ve had enough of humanity for the day. And Wendy’s? She delivered.

Wendy’s is the place you go when:

You’re hungry

You’re tired

You’ve given up on cooking

Your soul has left your body

Everything else in a 10-mile radius looks worse

Or you just really need a Frosty to emotionally stabilize yourself

Wendy’s:
Not the best.
Not the worst.
Just the culinary band-aid for a day that didn’t go as planned.“

“The service from Izzy at the Worcester location was top notch! And the food was amazing! Cooked well and was served hot and fresh! We ordered the Poutine for an appetizer and my husband ordered The Gatsby burger and I ordered The Phenomenal burger!! Both were outstanding as well as the traditional northeast classic (Poutine). Very interesting flavor combos that pleases the palate.“

“I've been wanting to try Smashburger for quite a while now but I was never around the area until today. I've tried various burger chains like shakeshack, fiveguys, red robin, mainely burger, the list goes on and on. This place has a good burger and hits the spot. Price wise it is what you would expect nowadays for a gourmet burger. The smash fries were great, if truffle oil is your kind of thing. I'll be coming back to try the hotdogs and their scorchin' menu. It is especially convenient because of the parking lot.“

“Whipped Feta Dip was incredible. Nashville Chicken Sandwich with hot honey was great. My wife had a Fancy salad with grilled chicken that looked too healthy for me, but she raved about it. Service was great, everybody we interacted with was smart, friendly and upbeat. I'm eager to return.“

“I’m a regular at Southborough location. I will remain a customer, but will say that the quality assurance in the kitchen is slipping. My last 3 orders were fouled up in some way.“

“I came here with a group at 9pm on a Friday. We were able to put 3 tables together. Our food came out in stages based on what was ready first. The pastels were excellent. I prefer the chicken and cheese. I had the Super Gauchão Burger with steak. OMG it is tremendous--I have to bring half of it home. The X-Burger and chicken salad wrap are great. I tried caldo de cana, sugar cane juice, and it was so refreshing! I have to come back for the fried chicken and the Brazilian hot dog.

“Visited Dudley Chateau for lunch today with my grandson on his half-day of school. What a nice surprise! Service was prompt and there were many lunch choices. Kids menu, too. I'll be back with a friend in a few weeks. Found Dudley Chateau on Goggle looking for places for lunch in Sudbury/Wayland.“

“Out of all of the Five Guys locations here in Boston, this location in Natick is my absolute favorite place!!! I love it here!!!! The staff here are very friendly, energetic, and all really awesome people!!! The food is so delicious too!! This is the only place that has gotten my order right every time I’m here!! “We had booked 2 separate tables for a birthday and they upgraded us to a private room. Our server was very attentive even though she had a huge party and she did exceptional. A few things were missed but with such a big group and only 1 server I thought she was amazing. I was very satisfied with how they treated us and would recommend people to have their event here.“

“Last year I walked in and the music WAS SO LOUD THAT I HAD TO YELL MY ORDER. I asked if they could turn down the music and was told that there was a camera on the volume knob and if they touch it they get fired. I filled out the 'how was your visit' form on the corporate website and a district manager got back to me and apologized saying that a customer should not have to be subject to such. A month ago the same thing happened, this time I was told that the volume knob was broken. I again filled out the 'how was your visit' form and got zero response. I saw a phone number to call recently and called it and was told that someone would respond to my complaint. Nope. So in about a year they have gone from 'We will listen to our customers' to 'we will ignore our customers'. But the food is still good so there is that.“
