“Had a delicious dinner last night at Avenue and wish we had checked it out sooner. Amazing wine and cocktail. Tried the Brie appetizer and Avenue Flatbread, which were both delicious and unique! Spiro, our server, was so attentive and knowledgeable. Service was excellent! Wish we had room for dessert bc that also sounded great but I guess we just have to go back soon”

“First visit here since the restaurant change. Inside is cozy with live music which was a welcome surprise. Definitely check out their drink specials which were also great. Bartenders were top notch. However, I ordered the steak tips medium rare and they came out almost medium well. It also came with rice pilaf which was wicked dry and had no flavor.”

“First time at this pizza/brewpub and we were amazed at how good both the beer and pizza were. The hazy NE IPA was smooth and very drinkable. My wife had the lager and she said it was some of the best beer she has ever enjoyed. Then there was the pizza we had…fig and bleu cheese, wow! It tasted so good. We can’t wait until we come visit again. Highly recommended!”

“I love Takara in Medfield. The staff is wonderful. I eat here almost every week. Even during COVID, my family did take out weekly. This is my go-to restaurant. My wife takes me there as a reward!! The food is wonderful and well prepared. I think that I have tried almost everything on the menu over the years. My favorite meal is the spicy tuna avocado salad! The rest of my family enjoys the sushi, sashimi, and various maki rolls which I always help them finish. Korean inspired food is a nice twist on typical sushi. Great place with great service. Great bar and wines too!”

“The food is always very good and portions are generous. Baked goods to go are high quality. The service is on the slow side, given how many people are working behind the counter. The atmosphere is average, booths, tables and chairs. It can be very noisy at peak times. It’s nicer to sit at the outdoor tables when weather permits.”
