“Quaint little place that feels authentic and coupled with fantastic service. The owner who works the bakery is very sweet and accommodates your requests. Bakery items are so tasty and you will come back for more. The display of flatbreads are extraordinary as they are lined up for your viewing. A must for breads and tasty treats. The custard filled bombolone is the best (and my favorite).“

“Solid hole in the wall spot to get a quick bite or a full meal. The pizza is a step above what I typically find in the area. The dough has a solid undercarriage and tastes very good. The grease is kept under control, even on pepperoni pizzas, the middle (where grease can tend to pool) isn’t soggy. The sauce and cheese is good but nothing exceptional. Affordable spot to get a bite for lunch or a meal for a larger party.“

“Scott gave us fantastic service! He appeared to be the only server this afternoon but you would never know it—he was so quick and attentive. He put us at a quiet table as requested, then got our order right in, refills on drinks, rolls, and then automatically got us a second pizza to take home as he said the first one didn’t come out the way he wanted it to.. we were so lucky to have him today—thank you Scott for giving us such a wonderful dining experience!!“

“Spiga is our absolute favorite restaurant!! We've come a dozen times and it is always the best meal! This particular time, I made a reservation for Father's Day but I accidentally booked it for a week prior - the manager was so incredible and could hear the desperation in my voice, so squeezed us in and made it work by his own kindness, even though the restaurant was fully booked. Our waiter was amazing - the service was incredible from beginning to end and our meal was absolutely delicious and so freshly homemade as always! We cannot wait to come back, thank you Spiga!!“

“We would like to give a higher rating and hope to in the future but there were several areas that could be improved:
1) My husband and I sat on the patio next to the front door. We used to come here alot when it was Petit Robert. They have done a nice job of changing it from French country bistro to modern upscale Italian, still very cozy. It was a lovely evening but it was disrupted by 2 young boys running in and out of the restaurant yelling the score to some game. They continued to yell up and down the sidewalk and climbed the lamppost. It really ruined the vibe. It was surprising that their parents (inside) nor the staff said anything to them. We could over hear the table next to us also commenting about this raucous behavior.
2. The service, although super friendly was slow. We waited for quite some time to place our order and for the bill. I never got the ice that was requested. Perhaps this is because of thr busy crowd on a Friday night.
3. The majority of our dishes were outstanding. The grilled squid appetizer was the best we have had in awhile. The squid was very tender and went perfectly well with the sliced fennel and lemon vinaigrette. My husband's wagyu dish was also beautifully executed. It was cooked to the perfect medium rare and paired nicely with the garlic sauce. Sides included lightly seasoned crispy fingerling potatoes and broccolini also cooked to perfection. I ordered the house special, lobster in vodka sauce with house made pasta. This was the biggest disappointment when the other dishes were so well delivered. The pasta was over cooked and mushy. The sauce was a bit sweet and there were only a few small pieces of lobster claw meat. This was surprising since the dish was more expensive than the wagyu. When the hostess checked in on us, she was gracious in offering to get us something else. I went with the black truffle wheel since we had seen other tables ordering it and the waitress had said it was her favorite dish there. Indeed it was incredible and did not disappoint! The pasta was not overcooked and the sauce was to die for! I loved it and would come back just for that dish alone!
When the bill came out, we assumed that they would have comped us for the lobster dish since that was what we didn't like and had sent it back despite their offering us to take it home. But instead, they had comped us for the truffle dish ($26), which was just over half of the lobster dish ($44). Seemed like a strange unprofessional practice.
Overall we still loved 3 out of 4 dishes so would still come back. Hopefully there won't be screaming kids and perhaps the wait staff would not be as slow.“

“I have never in my life had a steak cheese & mushroom sandwich as good as Lola’s. We stopped in for a quick dinner Wednesday and I have been thinking (dreaming?) since then about how delicious it was. It’s a bit far for us to come there regularly but I can’t wait to visit again.“

“Been dining at Luciano’s in Wrentham for years However on mothersday I was shocked to get a bill of $300 plus dollars for 2 adults and two children. Ordered the veal special and got the special price $89.00 Swordfish on a bed of spinach for $52 another special price Front desk was very rude which was never like that. They have become over priced and not customer friendly. We will not return“

“I just ate here for the first time and it was excellent! What a local gem. “We are regular visitors to Café Assisi, because every visit is excellent, in every way. The food is delicious - tonight we had chicken sorrentino and a shrimp special and enjoyed every bite. Our cocktails were perfect too, and one of our favorite servers, Sylvia, knew just what we would want before we even ordered. It’s nice to visit a restaurant where the quality and service are both above and beyond, every time. Yum.“

“Dinner was fantastic!! Order to go…Veal piccata with linguine, Fresh Italian bread and Italian, sparkling….Sanpellegrino orange drink, with a fresh cannoli made to order.
Everything was exceptionally tasty. The VEAL in particular was exceptional.., very tender and cooked to perfection.. Cannoli was freshly made directly in front of you, with a nice firm shell.. portion size was generous. The bread was actually stupendous too!
This establishmen continues to never ever disappoint. Consistently great and reasonably priced.
HIGHLY RECCOMEND!!

“On October 2nd, we hosted a Rehearsal Dinner for 35 that opened up to a Welcome Party for 90. The transition in their beautiful event space was seamless, thanks to Joanna and her wonderful staff. Leading up to the events, Joanna answered any question I threw at her. It was especially comforting since I was organizing from Florida. The food at the rehearsal dinner was delicious, chicken parm, salmon, gnocchi. The service, both food and drink was exceptional. We did a prix fixe menu and Joanna created a specific menu for our event. It felt very special. For the welcome party with an open bar, we chose a charcuterie board, fruit platter, meatballs and arancini all served buffet style. High top tables were added to accommodate the additional guests. Again, Joanna and her staff paid attention to every detail. As the hostess, besides wanting great food and service for my guests, it was extremely important that I got to enjoy my son’s wedding festivities. I had the best time not having to worry about a thing. I can’t thank Joanna and her staff enough for making it all happen.“

“We have lived in this area for more than 20 years and had never been. A friend mentioned so we decided to try it. We sat at the bar and had a fantastic dinner. Stacey was a delight and so nice to talk to. Service was amazing. Food was great! Portions are huge. We had a fabulous evening. We will be back!“

“The Greek chicken wrap was amazing! Mainly takeout, small place with a few tables. Nice, clean pizza joint atmosphere, but much better food. A little pricey, but a good value, especially considering that it's in a pricey area.

“Our go-to sub shop was closed and we needed a quick easy meal after vacation so we tried Famous. The steak sub was one of the best I’ve ever had. There was absolutely no fat or gristle which is rare. My husband had the Italian with everything including hot peppers. It was good his only suggestion was that the balance of veggies to meats was a little off. Communication with the online ordering was excellent and delivery was quicker than quoted. We would definitely order from there again.“

“New to the area and had a hard time to find the right sub shop and a good roast beef! I’ve been here twice now and have been so impressed both times. The roast beef sandwiches are like the north shore(IYKYK) and the salads are so so good! They give you pita bread that tastes like pizza dough. So happy they are local.“

“I have a complaint to be made, the chef Orlin Garcia himself, who works at the establishment, said that Mr. Carlos, the owner of Mak's.the kitchen is very dirty, there are a lot of rats, if basic sanitation is improved there, people will run the risk of catching leptospirosis, the snacks are very tasty and very dirty. Max Orlim Garcia's cook brought me a snack, my son-in-law said don't eat it because Mr. Carlos, the owner of the pizzeria, uses leftover food from other people at the table or what's left over As I said, Americans drool with desire for this burger, even though it's leftovers from other tables. He's a dirty and disgusting person, and Orlim himself helps to remake the burgers.“

“Wheeeeere to begin! A cute little establishment in a little plaza. Upon entering the staff was extremely friendly and attentive. The menu is bright and bold so there is not trouble reading it. Came in with my husband before we got ice cream to grab some buffalo wings. Sooooooooo glad I did! Them suckers were so dang good make you wanna smack ya mama! I’m known for my reviews taking a bite and this one won’t be different. We drove 45 minutes for some ice cream and ended up finding a little piece of BUFFALO HEAVEN“

“We had an issue with Grub Hub, and ended up having the restaurant cancel the order (ordered large but they only had the small dough at the time, which I didn’t think would feed the family, they were very obliging in canceling) we ordered from Papa Gino’s which was more money, and honestly not great, my son (ASD and ARFID) didn’t like it and refused to eat because it was cold. Rocco’s then delivered a large caramelized onion, and gave it to us for free (we owe you a double tip next time, my husband forgot in the confusion). My son immediately dove in eating the onions off the piece and the rest of the piece of pizza. You have made a customer out of us. Not only because of the excellent customer service but the food was very good and reasonably priced. Can’t wait to try some of the other dishes as well, due to the reviews.“

“Have had dine-in and takeout over the years. Tonight had takeout which was a very great experience. Food was truly delicious and portions are pretty good - even for the prices being slightly higher lately (which seems par for the course in this area). Takeout order was 100% accurate, packed well and plenty of bread and grated cheese packets. Friendly staff although not immediately attentive (4.5/5). In the past for dine-in the service has been above average, although they no longer do free cake for birthdays (even for my Mom when we had a big dinner party there for her 75th) - spent several hundred bucks but no free cake. Overall 4.5 and always consistent quality, taste, portions and experience.“
