“We have lived in this area for more than 20 years and had never been. A friend mentioned so we decided to try it. We sat at the bar and had a fantastic dinner. “I was recommended Marinho's by some people in the gym when I was asking around for a good local calzone... I was absolutely pleased with my purchase the other week (A buffalo chicken calzone w/ bacon) as it was SUPER delicious! A superb first purchase. The dough was phenomenal and the ingredients within the calzone were tasty. Taste and quality wise, this is probably one of, if not, my favorite local calzones around now... Quantity-wise for it's price point, in respect to other places I've gotten take out from, it could be a little larger/heavier! It is a long style of calzone, not wide or round... But taste-wise, Marinho's absolutely takes the crown for me! The dough is what really made this calzone great, as well as all the ingredients within. I recommend giving it a shot, and I may just have to try out their pizza next.“

“We tried Louie's Pizzeria for the first time earlier this week. Excellent service! NY Style hand-tossed brick oven pizza is absolutely delicious! By far the best pizza we've had in a very long time. Chicken tenders are delicious also; cooked just right and not greasy.“

“Scott gave us fantastic service! He appeared to be the only server this afternoon but you would never know it—he was so quick and attentive. He put us at a quiet table as requested, then got our order right in, refills on drinks, rolls, and then automatically got us a second pizza to take home as he said the first one didn’t come out the way he wanted it to.. we were so lucky to have him today—thank you Scott for giving us such a wonderful dining experience!!“

“We would like to give a higher rating and hope to in the future but there were several areas that could be improved:

1) My husband and I sat on the patio next to the front door. We used to come here alot when it was Petit Robert. They have done a nice job of changing it from French country bistro to modern upscale Italian, still very cozy. It was a lovely evening but it was disrupted by 2 young boys running in and out of the restaurant yelling the score to some game. They continued to yell up and down the sidewalk and climbed the lamppost. It really ruined the vibe. It was surprising that their parents (inside) nor the staff said anything to them. We could over hear the table next to us also commenting about this raucous behavior.

2. The service, although super friendly was slow. We waited for quite some time to place our order and for the bill. I never got the ice that was requested. Perhaps this is because of thr busy crowd on a Friday night.

3. The majority of our dishes were outstanding. The grilled squid appetizer was the best we have had in awhile. The squid was very tender and went perfectly well with the sliced fennel and lemon vinaigrette. My husband's wagyu dish was also beautifully executed. It was cooked to the perfect medium rare and paired nicely with the garlic sauce. Sides included lightly seasoned crispy fingerling potatoes and broccolini also cooked to perfection. I ordered the house special, lobster in vodka sauce with house made pasta. This was the biggest disappointment when the other dishes were so well delivered. The pasta was over cooked and mushy. The sauce was a bit sweet and there were only a few small pieces of lobster claw meat. This was surprising since the dish was more expensive than the wagyu. When the hostess checked in on us, she was gracious in offering to get us something else. I went with the black truffle wheel since we had seen other tables ordering it and the waitress had said it was her favorite dish there. Indeed it was incredible and did not disappoint! The pasta was not overcooked and the sauce was to die for! I loved it and would come back just for that dish alone!

When the bill came out, we assumed that they would have comped us for the lobster dish since that was what we didn't like and had sent it back despite their offering us to take it home. But instead, they had comped us for the truffle dish ($26), which was just over half of the lobster dish ($44). Seemed like a strange unprofessional practice.

Overall we still loved 3 out of 4 dishes so would still come back. Hopefully there won't be screaming kids and perhaps the wait staff would not be as slow.“

“Spiga is our absolute favorite restaurant!! We've come a dozen times and it is always the best meal! This particular time, I made a reservation for Father's Day but I accidentally booked it for a week prior - the manager was so incredible and could hear the desperation in my voice, so squeezed us in and made it work by his own kindness, even though the restaurant was fully booked. Our waiter was amazing - the service was incredible from beginning to end and our meal was absolutely delicious and so freshly homemade as always! We cannot wait to come back, thank you Spiga!!“

“Been dining at Luciano’s in Wrentham for years However on mothersday I was shocked to get a bill of $300 plus dollars for 2 adults and two children. Ordered the veal special and got the special price $89.00 Swordfish on a bed of spinach for $52 another special price Front desk was very rude which was never like that. They have become over priced and not customer friendly. We will not return“

It was all so fresh and so good. I would love to try a full dinner from there! If I lived closer I would be there all the time! I will def go back next time I’m in the area. “We are regular visitors to Café Assisi, because every visit is excellent, in every way. The food is delicious - tonight we had chicken sorrentino and a shrimp special and enjoyed every bite. Our cocktails were perfect too, and one of our favorite servers, Sylvia, knew just what we would want before we even ordered. It’s nice to visit a restaurant where the quality and service are both above and beyond, every time. Yum.“

“Dinner was fantastic!! Order to go…Veal piccata with linguine, Fresh Italian bread and Italian, sparkling….Sanpellegrino orange drink, with a fresh cannoli made to order.
Everything was exceptionally tasty. The VEAL in particular was exceptional.., very tender and cooked to perfection.. Cannoli was freshly made directly in front of you, with a nice firm shell.. portion size was generous. The bread was actually stupendous too!
This establishmen continues to never ever disappoint. Consistently great and reasonably priced.

“I am a frequent customer of this location, eat 2-3 days a week. used to love eating amato's as a kid best place to go to relive my childhood. Do have a problem with the young guy that works there twice now whenever he has had to make my sandwiches he has messed up. Refuse to order through doordash anymore and will only go in the store and order so I can watch him make my sandwiches. Not the sound rude but it's really not that hard to read Black ink on white paper on how to make a sandwich especially since I order the same thing every time I go in made the same way“

“It has been several months since I've been here. I've gone to other locations, even their original place in Wellesley.
This location always made us very happy. For several years we would go at least once a week.
I like the atmosphere and the very long table.
Lasagna is my favorite dish here but I saw a review about the meatball sub. Yes, a must.
I think the guy who left, overreacted. Yes the kids talk but not enough to make me leave.
I miss dining here all the time, then heading to Bubbling Brook

Friendly staff, beautiful restaurant, and absolutely fresh and amazing food! I knew it was going to be good because it was packed on a Wednesday night! Dinner was perfect from the fresh made from scratch bread with oil to the giant meatball appetizer and the delicious pollo Parmesana and pollo Francese! The beautiful dessert selection was the final touch to a very satisfying meal. I can’t wait to come back the next time I’m anywhere near the northeast! Molte Grazie!“

“New to the area and had a hard time to find the right sub shop and a good roast beef! I’ve been here twice now and have been so impressed both times. The roast beef sandwiches are like the north shore(IYKYK) and the salads are so so good! They give you pita bread that tastes like pizza dough. So happy they are local.“

“Where I work we always order pizza from here and it is always delicious. There Veggie Pizza and hot honey Pepperoni are so good.
I decided to order a Veggie Pizza to take home. When I got there I gave them my name and the woman went back to see if it was ready. When she came back she told me it would be a few more minutes. Now I had called from work at 4:20 and the man who took my order told me it would be 20 minutes which would be perfect because by the time I left work and made through all the lights it should have been ready. Nope I got there at 4:35 and had to wait. Well after waiting 10 minutes she must have seen the look on my face and decided to go in the back again when she came back this time she told me that it just went into the oven because the computer in the back wasn't printing out the slips so they got it running again and apologized for the delay. Now for my inconvenience they never offered money off the Pizza or even try to do anything to make up for it. I get it things happen but this is not the first time this has happened. I have had guys at work say that they also had it happened to them as well or even say that somehow there order was lost and never made it to the kitchen. I decided to give them a chance even knowing this. So something is wrong there if it is a computer glitch then get new computers or was it employees being irresponsible? Whatever it is that can cause people not wanting to go there. I won't be going back that's for sure.“

“I had wonderful time at this Olive Garden. Our server Jack was so nice and talkative. Almost as if he was a longtime friend. He was super accommodating with our allergies. “South Street is my favorite pizzeria in Massachusetts. I moved here eight years ago after growing up in Brooklyn and Queens New York. I am a huge pizza snob. Most local places in this state do bad imitations of what they think pizza from New York is like. South Street is a different style but the sauce the cheese and the crust are always delicious and cooked perfect. wat is just as important. Is that George and the other crew here treat us like family. This is my go to place for birthday parties for ordering pizza for my students at school or for family pizza nights. We just moved to Norton and still come here for pizza because it’s better than anything else in our new town.I should add the buffalo wings are my favorite local wings also. And the chicken parm hero, they call it a sub here, is amazing.“
