I come out to visit my BFF several times a year and I never miss an opportunity (actually at least 3 opportunities) to have pizza at Marinho's. The wood fired pizza is amazing, so tasty with amazing dough, a few unique options also. Swine with Seoul (kimchi, pork belly pizza) is top notch. Good menu selection - with a lot of what you would expect from a pizza & sub shop and some unique menu items. We ordered a cheese pizza, eggplant parm sub, meatball sub and a BLT. Food was quick and good - the eggplant parm was the real standout, and the rest of the food was good as well. Greek style pizza, a bit greasy but crisp crust. The owners and staff really go above and beyond - bring out out the food to your table right when it is ready and the owners checked in twice with my family to make sure we were comfortable and offered to pull up a second table for us if we wanted. When we were done, the owners had lollipops for my young kids. Wish I took a picture of the food, but everyone was so hungry and the food went too fast - but definitely worth a stop if you're in the area!“

“Went to this papa ginos last Thursday 12-14-23 with my son. Right off the bat I noticed that they were short staffed and they were busy. My son and I wait it out, place our order, and within 20 - 25 minutes our name is called, and order is ready. We ate in the restaurant and as we were eating my 11 year old son says "how is this pizza this good when they are that busy? its cooked perfectly". Not going to lie the pizza was one of the better ones we have had from other papa ginos locations. The restaurant itself could use some tlc, but i have to say the team is what made me want to write this review. None of them panicked. They didn't even seem mad or upset about their short staffed situation and orders piling in. In fact, watching the manager direct traffic while answering waiting guest questions with a smile on his face was impressive. So impressive that i pointed it out to my son that in any environment, no matter how stressful, it's all about your attitude. “We've been in Waltham for nearly 6 years snd there are some good pizza spots around, ordered from Square MFG for something different and GOOOODNESS did they deliver. Their pepperoni pizza is hands down one of thee best pizza slices I've had in the last 22 years living in MA. I had it for dinner last night and I'm trying to convince myself that I shouldn't order it again tonight. It was so incredibly flavorful its hard to put into words. Some good some not. When I walked in I immediately saw Piantedosi Bakery sun rolls. Piantedosi can make anything taste good. But here is the truth. I ordered half the menu and was amazingly impressed. The steak sub and chicken parm subs were actually the best I have ever had.
