I had grilled octopus to start and had the seafood with homemade pappardelle, delicious. My SO had caprese salad with unbelievable mozzarella. They had the stripped bass which was delicious. We ended with some sambucca, espresso and tartufo. Great evening. My only comment is that seating for 2 is mostly at the bar or high tops near the bar (especially on Friday). We sat in the front near the window and I didn't feel like I was in the restaurant. Otherwise a great time and restaurant.“

“Saturday date night with my wife. We didn't have a reservation but wanted to try it after seeing it on the phantom gourmet. The staff was very accommodating and got us seated right away. At first we ended up at the bar and enjoyed the Italian wedding soup and some arancini. Later they were able to move us to a table after a no-show reservation.For my main course I had the Pollo con crema and my wife had the vegetable risotto. “We dined early at Bar ‘Cino this evening. It's Restaurant Week, and this place offered three courses for $36; there were lots of choices in all three courses, so we decided to try it. Restaurant Week pre-fixe menus are a mixed bag; many restaurants fail to put their best foot forward in their effort to attract new diners. But tonight's experience was quite the opposite. Among the three of us, we ordered a romaine and kale Caesar, meatballs in polenta and sweet potato frittela first, followed by chicken Milanese, braised pork shoulder and grilled salmon. We closed a vanilla panna cotta and a couple of lemon cakes topped with strawberry mousse. All of the firsts and mains were very good, and some — the meatballs, chicken and pork — were excellent. Unlike many other restaurants running pre-fixe promos, Bar ‘Cino did not skimp on anything. The plates were all generous and in some cases (the meatballs, Caesar and chicken), they were enormous. The desserts were nothing to write home about; they seemed almost institutional in their ordinariness. But whatever, we'd already eaten, frankly, too much. We had a terrific server, Joseph, who was friendly, helpful, personable and relaxed. We enjoyed his repartee. But other aspects of the service were uneven. As common as slow service tends to be, especially in crowded restaurants, it's highly unusual that the service is too fast. But tonight's courses definitely came out too quickly, with virtually no time between them to catch our breath. Plus, the food runner essentially brought the dishes to the table and placed them anywhere there was room — not even placing the wrong choice in front of each diner. It's not that it was a hardship to place the dishes in front of each diner ourselves, but it's not what you dine out for. In all, a wonderful meal and experience. Will definitely be back.“

“For our date-night we chose to return to Da Vinci Waltham, and were not disappointed. We like to sit side-by-side, and Da Vinci takes reservations for bar seating, so that suited us well. The efficient and friendly bartender took great care of us as we made our way through Caprese (*truly* delectable cheese!), Scampi (the pasta was a wow, and plump shrimp completed the dish nicely) lamb chops (very delicate flavor, bountiful portion with a full meat/potato/vegetable dinner) and pistachio cannoli for dessert. Everything was delicious, and served timely but unhurried in the order we requested. Modest noise level was fine (though sometimes they have large parties that can get a bit raucous). Wines by the glass did not disappoint, especially the lovely Sangiovese we had with the lamb.“

“Not so hidden Waltham gem, with an interior reminiscent of an Italian country villa. The well-appointed outdoor terrace houses 6 tables that can seat about 20, making it ideal for groups and small parties. The interior comprises several cozy micro spaces that provide a feel of being a guest in a friend's Tuscan home. We started with an Arancini (a Sicilian street food made of risotto that's rolled into a ball, stuffed, breaded, and gently fried) wrapped on prosciutto and on a pillow of Mozzarella. Delicious. Next came a risotto with pan-seared scallops, shrimp, yellow and red cherry tomatoes, and lobster stock. Joyous. We tried a special of the evening: Fresh crab ravioli with marscapone and Parmegiani, lobster sauce and pea tendrils. I found this to be relatively bland and was the only true disappointment of the evening. The pièce de résistance was the next dish: Salt encrusted whole Bronzini, wood over roasted, accompanied by a "teeny" green and French pear salad, and whole roasted garlic. $36 and worth every penny. On the gratuitous side, I'd recommend the hot chocolate soufflé with vanilla ice cream and hot chocolate ganache, which must be ordered a bit in advance. It held its shape, and will tickle your sweet tooth; very worth busting one's diet. Ask for Tim, one of the most accomplished waiters in the northeast, who won't disappoint in terms of service and knowledge. Overall, we enjoyed the execution of Campania's creative menu, its knowledgeable and attentive wait staff, and the warm, inviting decor. La Campania comes close to delivering on all the elements of a Michelin star establishment.“

They have a good size bar as overflow seating but no bartender on duty, just regular wait staff. Reservations are a good idea.The Corned Beef Hash Benny was great. You get a choice of English Muffins or Hash Browns. I got it on the Hash Browns. It's different but delicious. The odd thing is that you get home fries, too. Potato everywhere. Maybe with Hash Browns, you could have a non-potato side?Parking: They don't have their own parking lot. But if you look on their website, they show at least 3 parking lots very close by that allow Brickhouse Cafe customers to park for free.“

“Yummy yummy pasta night! My bf surprised me by bringing me to this nice and cozy Italian restaurant in Arlington heights on Saturday night. It wasn't too busy so we were lucky to get a table. They only have a few tables so making a reservation would be a good idea. Soon after we were seated people started showing up and the tables were starting to fill up. We were served complimentary bread and olive oil which was very good while we decided on our dish. They had a few specials that were not on the menu and sounded delicious but we decided to try their shrimp pasta and their chicken cacciatore. We also ordered the house Nina salad which had delicious pears and a light and tangy vinaigrette dressing. The waiter was very nice and I also think he was the cook since you could see into the kitchen and there were only two people behind the counter.Our pasta dishes came out nice and hot and we quickly devoured them. The pasta was cooked perfectly and the shrimp were nice and juicy and fully peeled. The shrimp pasta had a nice lemony and tangy flavor and there was plenty of sauce. The chicken cacciatore was also very good. The chicken was nice and tender and the pasta was super flavorful. They were even kind enough to bring us more bread so we could finish our sauces! “It's a good local business right close by St. Elizabeth's hospital and the Brighton neighborhood for some pizza, subs, and calzones. The folks who work there have been friendly to it. I like the kitschy signs of relating pizza to happiness and other little things. Inside it looks a little dated by the pizzas produced here are solid. The main thing I'd change up is to have the resting slices in a stronger heating unit or one that's vertical instead. It loses its appeal and taste fast but ordered fresh it's good. Buffalo chicken is really good here and enjoy the toppings. Dough is alright - just a little too doughy and average but the toppings give it a great flavor. If they offered thin-crust brick oven pizza, I'd definitely try that as an option.“

In Arizona it is rare to find even mediocre pizza let alone this deliciously intoxicating pie that melts in your mouth and tastes like a little bit of heaven. It is not oily or to salty. The crust is the perfect thickness and both crisp and chewy. I come out to visit my BFF several times a year and I never miss an opportunity (actually at least 3 opportunities) to have pizza at Marinho's.
