“My first time ordering from them. The food was good, bacon cheeseburger and fries. On the website it says that you will get fries and coleslaw with any order, but when I got it there was no slaw. I called and the person on the line was very condescending, as if I was lying to get some free slaw. Long story short what I ordered was good, the fries were delicious and the burger hit the right spot. But didn't appreciate not getting what I was promised and treated like a looney when I ask for it.“

“My wife loves Italian food, but has a very select amount of things she will like. She is lovely and particular. So instead of going to a shiny glitzy hyper priced place I went looking for a hole in the wall type place that prided them selves on the details of the food not the details on the walls. I found that perfect place! It was exactly what I was looking for. Food was amazing service was very genuine and were the perfect compliment to the food and the experience. If your looking for the wow factor when you walk in the door, pay more for that elsewhere. If you want the wow factor when every bit its your tongue, this is your spot! Highly recommend. We live an hour away on the north shore, but will defiantly be making our way back. Thank you!“

“We would like to give a higher rating and hope to in the future but there were several areas that could be improved:

1) My husband and I sat on the patio next to the front door. We used to come here alot when it was Petit Robert. They have done a nice job of changing it from French country bistro to modern upscale Italian, still very cozy. It was a lovely evening but it was disrupted by 2 young boys running in and out of the restaurant yelling the score to some game. They continued to yell up and down the sidewalk and climbed the lamppost. It really ruined the vibe. It was surprising that their parents (inside) nor the staff said anything to them. We could over hear the table next to us also commenting about this raucous behavior.

2. The service, although super friendly was slow. We waited for quite some time to place our order and for the bill. I never got the ice that was requested. Perhaps this is because of thr busy crowd on a Friday night.

3. The majority of our dishes were outstanding. The grilled squid appetizer was the best we have had in awhile. The squid was very tender and went perfectly well with the sliced fennel and lemon vinaigrette. My husband's wagyu dish was also beautifully executed. It was cooked to the perfect medium rare and paired nicely with the garlic sauce. Sides included lightly seasoned crispy fingerling potatoes and broccolini also cooked to perfection. I ordered the house special, lobster in vodka sauce with house made pasta. This was the biggest disappointment when the other dishes were so well delivered. The pasta was over cooked and mushy. The sauce was a bit sweet and there were only a few small pieces of lobster claw meat. This was surprising since the dish was more expensive than the wagyu. When the hostess checked in on us, she was gracious in offering to get us something else. I went with the black truffle wheel since we had seen other tables ordering it and the waitress had said it was her favorite dish there. Indeed it was incredible and did not disappoint! The pasta was not overcooked and the sauce was to die for! I loved it and would come back just for that dish alone!

When the bill came out, we assumed that they would have comped us for the lobster dish since that was what we didn't like and had sent it back despite their offering us to take it home. But instead, they had comped us for the truffle dish ($26), which was just over half of the lobster dish ($44). Seemed like a strange unprofessional practice.

Overall we still loved 3 out of 4 dishes so would still come back. Hopefully there won't be screaming kids and perhaps the wait staff would not be as slow.“

“We stopped here before a concert at Xfinity. Really some of the best food I’ve ever had! We had the margherita pizza, crispy eggplant—so good we got another order—and the bruschetta. It was all so fresh and so good. I would love to try a full dinner from there! If I lived closer I would be there all the time! I will def go back next time I’m in the area. The staff were all so amazing too!“

“On October 2nd, we hosted a Rehearsal Dinner for 35 that opened up to a Welcome Party for 90. The transition in their beautiful event space was seamless, thanks to Joanna and her wonderful staff. Leading up to the events, Joanna answered any question I threw at her. It was especially comforting since I was organizing from Florida. The food at the rehearsal dinner was delicious, chicken parm, salmon, gnocchi. The service, both food and drink was exceptional. We did a prix fixe menu and Joanna created a specific menu for our event. It felt very special. For the welcome party with an open bar, we chose a charcuterie board, fruit platter, meatballs and arancini all served buffet style. High top tables were added to accommodate the additional guests. Again, Joanna and her staff paid attention to every detail. As the hostess, besides wanting great food and service for my guests, it was extremely important that I got to enjoy my son’s wedding festivities. I had the best time not having to worry about a thing. I can’t thank Joanna and her staff enough for making it all happen.“

“La Stalla hosted a 50th wedding anniversary dinner for my parents for 50 people in June 2025. Michaela the event coordinator was fantastic and accommodating. We went with the buffet and the meatballs, arancini, chicken parm, haddock, and steak tips were excellent. The deserts of gelato and tiramisu were also fantastic. Everyone commented on how good the food was. The servers were extra accommodating in allowing me to use the television for a slide show. We even stayed past the planned time and the staff let us enjoy each other's company. I couldn't be happier with how the event went and will be coming in for dinner soon! - Sam T“

“I ordered several items for pickup during a busy weekend. When I arrived at the scheduled time, the manager said they were very backed up and hadn’t made the food yet. I was asked to wait while they prepared it, which set me back about 20 minutes. After bringing out the food, the manager told me he would comp the entire meal. Very classy move. Even better, my family and I really enjoyed all the food. It was delicious!“

“Our high school sports team hosted an end of season banquet at Tutto Bene yesterday – and it was wonderful! The owner and his team could not have been more accommodating. The buffet options were delicious and they also handled two special diet requests. The private room is pretty and can hold up to 60. It was very comfortable for our group of 30 and 30 display area. Although we brought in our own floral arrangements, they had many life-like silk flower arrangements already available in the room.“

The perfect venue for a baby shower for our son and daughter in laws baby due in March! Tracy and Janet were our servers and were above and beyond in friendliness and service! “So glad I trusted the Google reviews and tried Trattoria! Was traveling from Boston to Rhode Island on a work trip with my boss and we stopped here for dinner. WOW! Friendly staff, beautiful restaurant, and absolutely fresh and amazing food! I knew it was going to be good because it was packed on a Wednesday night! Dinner was perfect from the fresh made from scratch bread with oil to the giant meatball appetizer and the delicious pollo Parmesana and pollo Francese! The beautiful dessert selection was the final touch to a very satisfying meal. I can’t wait to come back the next time I’m anywhere near the northeast! Molte Grazie!“

“It has been several months since I've been here. I've gone to other locations, even their original place in Wellesley.
This location always made us very happy. For several years we would go at least once a week.
I like the atmosphere and the very long table.
Lasagna is my favorite dish here but I saw a review about the meatball sub. Yes, a must.
I think the guy who left, overreacted. Yes the kids talk but not enough to make me leave.
I miss dining here all the time, then heading to Bubbling Brook

“I was dying for a meatball sub. I wanted homemade with good sauce and good bread. I called in the order. When I arrived, the friendly gentleman behind the counter asked if I had ever had their meatballs before. After saying I hadn’t, he went to the kitchen and came out with a big meatball, hot, with sauce in a bowl and with a fork. I will say it was exactly what I was looking for. Tasty meatball and excellent sauce.
The sub tasted good, my only critique would be maybe some more meatballs in it, and the cheese wasn’t really melted. All things considered (taste, service, cleanliness), I will definitely be back. The guy was very friendly and hospitable. Didn’t catch his name.“

“I have been coming to the Italian Kitchen for a very long time even after the change in ownership. The taste is the same but lately I’ve seen a change in the eggplant parmigiana. The portion is smaller and It’s slices not stacked It used to be a square with multiple layers enough to share. Not the case anymore bring back the old way or you’ll lose customers“

“We held a surprise Birthday party for my brother last week 12/7 at the Braintree location. From the first inquiry to walking out the door our expectations were beyond what we hoped for. We wanted a simple get together with immediate family for the reason that my brother has cancer and hasn’t been able to be around to many people at one time. The staff, especially Ruth and Nick were overly accommodating to our needs. The day went as we hoped and a fun family day was had by all who attended. Our server ( I believe her name is Marissa, please forgive me if that is not her name) was a blessing, she was so kind, helpful and pleasant!! Although logistically your restaurant is not close to us we have been there before and will certainly return again.
