“These folk know their regular locals. They can also put many a sandwich place to shame with how well they make a sandwich. They're always pleasant and personable. I make a point of going there at least once a week. They have a great selection of ready-to-slice meats and cheeses; they have delicious prepared meals; they have pasta and potato salads; soups, when they can... They also have seasonal fresh produce.“

“On this our first visit we tried the salad with vegan ranch dressing, the french fries (yes; really vegan), the chicken cutlet hot sub, and the veggie pizza done vegan. Everything was very good and we would eat all of those items again. A special shout out about the fries, which we both thought were the best we’ve ever had. And we’ve had a lot of fries. The owner is very conscious of vegan ingredients and looks for healthier options when he can. I was complaining to my wife how far it was from our house to the Palace, about 17 miles. “We were the first wedding Sol de Mexico had ever catered. We were also the first event of 140 people they had ever served. They did absolutely amazing! Everyone loved the buffet style food they provided, and services of cleaning, filling water, and serving the food! The staff was friendly and helpful. Brenda, the manager, was amazing throughout the whole process! Her and I had good communication to make sure everything went as planned. They put a lot of resources into this event and ensuring it worked out properly. They are such a great staff and restaurant. It was my husband and I's first date spot and they graciously agreed to cater our wedding knowing they had not done that before. We are so grateful for Sol and their AMAZING food. “OK, first of all, this place ain't the Capital Grill. There is an extensive menu of decent food and good beer offerings. Prices are very reasonable, waitstaff are great. They have musical bingo 2x per week, which we enjoy, and other activities. Overall, a good fun place.“

Food was great, but since I was working the stage as DJ, I had mine to go. Packaged well. Large dance floor, and acoustics of the room worked very well. The food is absolutely delicious, the staff is very attentive and the building itself is gorgeous.I've been to the restaurant a few times and some of the food I've ordered was the Spicy Caesar Salad, the hummus, the spinach and artichoke dip and the creme brulee. All of the meals were not only delicious but it's clear that CPH uses fresh ingredients. I typically order salads at restaurants and you usually expect a few damper pieces of lettuce, but the Caesar is always fresh and crunchy, the dressing well distributed, a perfect amount of parmesan and fun spicy kick to make the dish unique. Definitely my go to meal!The apps are also fantastic. The pita bread is great for dipping and has a wonderful texture. They also go great with both the hummus and artichoke dips. Both these dips are well seasoned, have a great consistency and honestly their hummus is some of the best I've ever had.Lastly the creme brulee is always lovely, great consistency and the burnt sugar on the top is always such a fun treat!Regarding drinks, CPH has a great selection of alcohol. The cans of ciders and beers they have stocked are from a great selection of local breweries, Jacks Abby, Downeast and Night Shift to name a few. And then there's the mixed drinks! They have a fun selection of cocktails. I absolutely love the brown sugar old fashioned. It's definitely one of my favorites.The staff is also phenomenal. All of their waiters and waitresses are attentive and always have a kind attitude. They're great about checking in when you need things.The kitchen crew is very talented and always keeping up the quality of their dishes while still getting food out at a fast pace. They really nail down the recipes even while changing out the menu every few weeks. It creates a fun enviornment for patrons because there's always something new and fun to try, but still always made with the same phenomenal quality.It's also nice to see how active the manager is on site. He's always running food to tables, checking in with guests and even running take out orders. It really speaks to the quality of the staff running the building.And speaking of the building, it's beautifully designed and well constructed! The bar is absolutely gorgeous and the seating is very comfortable. Eating next to the large windows brings in a lot of natural light which adds a nice aesthetic to your dining experience. The kitchen even has a window you can watch through to see the kitchen staff hard at work as they make your food.I would highly recommend Central Public House, between the fantastic food, amazing staff and just an absolutely fun atmosphere. “Just wanted to come on and give a kudos to Upton House of Pizza after our experience last night. We were heading home exhausted from the waterpark and ordered a pickup order, which included a small GF pizza for my daughter. We picked it up, headed home and as we were pulling into the driveway my phone rang. The young kid at the counter called and frantically asked if we had eaten any of the pizza. I assured him we hadn’t yet and he said that he had separated it so well from the counter that another staff had put a regular pizza in the box he had pre-labeled thinking it was it (apparently, it was actually the free regular small pizza we got free with our order - that we didn’t know we were getting). He asked for our address and was at our door within 7 minutes. He even asked to see the other pizza to double check. I tried to tip him and he refused, saying “it’s not like we just forgot pepperoni or something, this was serious!” Thankfully my daughter is just intolerant and not celiac, but I appreciate this to no end 🥰 People make mistakes, it’s how they rectify them that shows their character! We will definitely continue to give them our business!“

“The food here is always excellent… I don’t know how they do it or where they get it, however, it takes no time for them to quickly whip it up and have it ready.
Dumplings, Chicken Lo-Mein, Beef Skewers… every time are perfect.
