“Fu Hing's is singularly the BEST Chinese food in the area, and I have had just about all of them from Newburyport to Boston. I have been desperate for decent takeout since I moved to Massachusetts from NYC, and most of what I've tried within a 40-minute drive from my house has been inedible. Fu Hing's is 8 minutes from me and everything they make is delicious. Special shout-out to their egg rolls, lo mein, and dumplings. I literally cannot believe how much better the food was than anywhere else in a 50 mile radius.“

“I come from Lowell where there is Chinese food all over the place. To find a chi a star reminds me of home. Also my daughter has an egg allergy along with other items. They must have written down on a note next to our phone number about the allergy because they mentioned it before we did. They had no problem being extra cautious preparing my daughter's plate. “Decent option for large portion lunch specials.

Been in Lowell quite a bit lately and stopped by twice to try their lunch specials. Both times, I was the only person dining in, though there were a few takeout orders going out. The owner was super friendly and while the restaurant seemed like a single man operation, everything came out quick.

The food. The portions for most dishes were easily double what I’d expected from a typical appetizer/ lunch specials. Unfortunately, the overall quality was subpar. Some small plates, like the spare ribs, were clearly reheated in the microwave, and the excess moisture from the thawing process was clearly visible on the bottom of the plate. General Tso’s chicken had thick and soggy breading and very little meat, which made it a carb-heavy bite. Since it had been fried and frozen beforehand, it tasted almost identical to one of those frozen Chinese chicken plates from grocery stores. Thankfully, the pork belly dishes held better even after freezing. Both the garlic chili pork belly and the double cooked pork belly were genuinely enjoyable.

Overall, better than food-court Chinese, but not quite on par with average Boston Chinese restaurants. Lowell’s Chinese food scene is pretty underwhelming, so it might be worth a stop if you’re looking for an inexpensive yet filling meal.“

I can without a doubt state that my husband and I will be coming in and be patrons because of the friendly service, unique style, and most definitely the fresh ingredients used in their menu. “It's mostly a take out place but they do have some tables you can eat at. You just put your order in and pay. They will call when your order is up and you get your food. There isn't a wait staff. You need something you go up and ask. I mostly order and come pick it up. There is no delivery.“

Chow fun (special and Singapore) are a crowd favorite, as well as the Szechuan style dishes, and the family style. Amy the owner/chef is very kind. Food is delicious!“

“I've been going here for over 10 years. I love the crab rangoon. And all the food. But , they must spend a fortune in printing menus because they always charge you more than what the menu says and then they tell you that the menu is old. I'm posting a picture of two menus that I just got in the past month. Another picture is what I just got online, I took a screenshot. And it also says that the menu was updated 2 days ago. So if the menu was updated two days ago and as you can see in the picture it says $10 minimum for Visa or MasterCard. When I get there she says it's a $15 minimum for Visa or MasterCard. So she charges me an extra dollar. Besides the fact, that I was charged more than the price of the menu I just got last week. And she says don't you have any cash? I said no. She always asks for cash. And then she up charges me. She's a little tiny lady with a sweet little voice. But also a very big scam artist. I always support local businesses. But I do not support you taking my hard earned money out of my pocket. And then saying oh well. After over 10 years I'm done. There's plenty of other places to go. If you try to call her out on her scamming, she say to leave now. I don't need that kind of drama.“

Another notable characteristic is the consistency, you can expect the same quality every single time. Seems to be a small family run place. The young children are always at the business. Very efficient in their timing, never have to wait on the food when we go pick it up.

“I got the szechuan style lo mein noodles, it wasn’t spicy and had chicken, beef and shrimp with chillie peppers seasoning in it. It was tasty but I wouldn’t eat their shrimp again. Also the portions are good with most plates, and the prices are normal.

“Everything was good, we went in for an early dinner so it wasn't very busy and we were served pretty quickly. I only gave 4 stars for the food because my jumbo fried shrimp were over cooked and the crab rangoons didn't taste like they had much crab in them, otherwise I was happy overall.

“My very first Chinese food experience was Leis garden, way back as a child in the 90's. My parents have been going there since the 80's. Hands down BEST I've ever had, nowhere else compares. I can still taste the tea! The egg rolls are by far the best - and I've lived in several states now. I brought my husband who had never been, and grew up in Florida. He even said it's the best he's ever had, and any time we go back to NH, we choose Leis garden. Fond memories of my parents getting Leis garden almost every Friday night whether it was dine in or take out, always master class.

Kid-friendliness: I spent a lot of my childhood coming here and the staff was always amazing. The Pac Man machine kept us busy!
