“Liked the lo mein flavor, and the general tso I got as well. Overall pretty good for a dinner combo. Some take out places dont have flavor or enough flavor in their foods and this place is one that has enough flavor and my kids liked it a lot ?approved by my picky little “
“Always wanted to stop in Chens and tonight was the night. Have lived in the area for about six years and chens looked like a great place for a drink and some food. Tonight i had the opportunity to meet up with a good friend for a drink and a bite to eat. The parking lot is large but the lighting is dull but that’s ok. I entered the restaurant we had a semi greeting and shown to our booth i typically take the bar. The waitress was very nice and not overly shadowing.I ordered a manhattan (my favorite) bad idea on my part, the manhattan tasted closer to a whisky water back. I ordered a D14 I believe, the combo plate with chicken fingers, cab rag and boneless with pork fried rice and hot and sour soup.Food came out wit a complimentary chicken meatloaf bites wrapped in egg roll dough. The rice had an old hard bite as if it was left out too long but still had a decent flavor.Chicken fingers also tasted old but had a decent flavor, do you see a trend?Crab rag was decent but just missed the mark. The hot and sour soup was the best part of the meal, it was perfect. The meatloaf bites had a good ginger taste and almost to dry but still held up its protein. All in all not a bad experience. it’s possible that combo plates do not receive good attention and care as is the case with some restaurants. They tend to use older food for plates and fresh cook for larger priced items. I thought that practice was long gone but maybe they are stuck in yesterday’s.You get what you pay for but money is hard earned on both sides. If I have a next time I would stay away from the combos unless you sub pork fried for an alternative. All in all it’s basically a Time Machine.Parking: Big“
“My very first Chinese food experience was Leis garden, way back as a child in the 90's. My parents have been going there since the 80's. Hands down BEST I've ever had, nowhere else compares. I can still taste the tea! The egg rolls are by far the best - and I've lived in several states now. I brought my husband who had never been, and grew up in Florida. He even said it's the best he's ever had, and any time we go back to NH, we choose Leis garden. Fond memories of my parents getting Leis garden almost every Friday night whether it was dine in or take out, always master class.Kid-friendliness: I spent a lot of my childhood coming here and the staff was always amazing. The Pac Man machine kept us busy!Parking: Never had an issue parking in my life!“
“I ordered through Door Dash. The food was still hot after a 20 ride to me. The egg rolls were still crunchy, the salad was still cold, soup was warm and the General Tso's was probably the best I've had in New Hampshire! I'll definitely be going there in person soon!“
“The food was very profound, the service and staff were very attentative to everyone and there was a nice crowd of people there enjoying their time.Parking: There is an abundant amount of parking spaces all around the establishment, it would be hard to not find parking!Kid-friendliness: There’s no hazards to worry about as a child and as an adult!Wheelchair accessibility: There’s a wheelchair ramp, and no interiors stairs except for the function room.“
“My husband and I stopped in for the first time today around 4:30pm. I’ll say I wasn’t expecting to see such a nice table layout. They have a nice dinning area, not too dark and the other side of the restaurant was divided for the tavern section to keep it private. Our waiter was very friendly taking our order and came around several times to check in on us.My husband had a coke and I always get a pot of tea. When the food came I was a tad disappointed that it’s the already prepared frozen type china blossom food. Peas in the rice. You know that they did doctor it up with roast pork, scrambled egg, and sprouts.Overall for the food was prepared very good for what it is.The chicken fingers crispy but soft inside, not oily. When I go to a Chinese restaurant I normally judge them by their crab Rangoons. It would be nice for a homemade type wrap over the already made Rangoons. The price was pretty decent for the combination plates we got. Maybe it was the time of day everything was pretty fresh. I will be back to try some other old favorites like Happy Family and lomein.“
“The food was absolutely delicious! The portions were very generous, and the prices were quite reasonable. The drinks were large, not overly expensive, and very well-crafted. The bar area is a bit difficult to find; it is located around the back near the cashier. It may not be the most suitable place to impress a date, but you can expect excellent food, drinks, and service. The staff is extremely friendly and attentive.“
“Mall Chinese is the goat! So delicious and filling. I always love coming to this place. They're a bit pushy and keep asking if you want a drink, but the food is great. I get it more than any other Chinese. A bit expensive but so it is these days.“
“We’ve ordered take out and dined in here. The food is incredible, like some of the best Chinese I’ve ever had and I’ve lived in several different states! I love the spicy orange soy chicken, fried rice, and crab Rangoon! Dining in is such a good experience too - the food comes out so fast, the tables are spacious, and the servers are so friendly and attentive! Also parking is really easy, there is a huge parking lot behind the restaurant.Vegetarian options: I love spicy orange soy chicken it is incredible! The fried rice with veggies is delicious as well as lo mein with tofu (they can add tofu to any of the rices and noodles upon request)Kid-friendliness: High chairs are available for dine in and the staff were so smiley and friendly with our one year old. They brought him a take out plate so he didn’t break a dish.“
“Update: This place has some of the best Chinese I’ve had…. And I will NEVER go here again. With the price of 64$ to buy 2 plates and a dessert dish…. I received 2 plates. I was a little confused and thought they didn’t give me one of my meals. I tried calling and wasn’t getting an answer, he actually ended up calling me back, and I explained I only got part of what I ordered. He went and checked my ticket and remembered exactly the order and apologized. He didn’t see the other plate because of how it printed, he offered a free refund and next time I have it delivered he will give me a free side also! I LOVE this place, it is literally one of the VERY few Chinese joints I will finish my entire plate and love every bite!!!Owner is just such a stand up guy! Proud to be a customer“
