“Quiet dining area that is kid/toddler friendly. Bar area is small but busy. Super friendly staff and owners. Food is always delicious and served hot. Their egg drop soup is the best!Kid-friendliness: Dining area is very kid friendly. Seating isn't crowded together, highchairs available.Wheelchair accessibility: Side parking with wheelchair ramp into the front of the restaurant.“
“Reviews are accurate. Don't let the worn storefront or empty dining room dissuade you. Ordered take out for lunch. The food was fresh and flavorful with generous portions. The meat was not drowned out by celery like other Chinese restaurants. Nice little mom and pop restaurant.“
“I ordered through Door Dash. The food was still hot after a 20 ride to me. The egg rolls were still crunchy, the salad was still cold, soup was warm and the General Tso's was probably the best I've had in New Hampshire! I'll definitely be going there in person soon!“
“The food was very profound, the service and staff were very attentative to everyone and there was a nice crowd of people there enjoying their time.Parking: There is an abundant amount of parking spaces all around the establishment, it would be hard to not find parking!Kid-friendliness: There’s no hazards to worry about as a child and as an adult!Wheelchair accessibility: There’s a wheelchair ramp, and no interiors stairs except for the function room.“
“Wow, don't expect to get refills on glasses of soda. This must be a new policy since we've been going there over 10 years. They charged us for each short glass of soda my husband drank. Good thing I got the hot tea. Yes I still Love it here, because it's literally the best place around.“
“We’ve ordered take out and dined in here. The food is incredible, like some of the best Chinese I’ve ever had and I’ve lived in several different states! I love the spicy orange soy chicken, fried rice, and crab Rangoon! Dining in is such a good experience too - the food comes out so fast, the tables are spacious, and the servers are so friendly and attentive! Also parking is really easy, there is a huge parking lot behind the restaurant.Vegetarian options: I love spicy orange soy chicken it is incredible! The fried rice with veggies is delicious as well as lo mein with tofu (they can add tofu to any of the rices and noodles upon request)Kid-friendliness: High chairs are available for dine in and the staff were so smiley and friendly with our one year old. They brought him a take out plate so he didn’t break a dish.“
“Tiny hole in the wall place. It's changed hands and names a hundred times. But as of right now they make the best Chinese along with 1 other spot in Manchester I've found. I'm a Chinese food snob and really picky! If your craving Chinese come here! Prices are decent also! Don't expect to sit down and eat. It's standing room only but it's down the street from the river walk go have a picknick next to the river and enjoy some good food!“
“Mall Chinese is the goat! So delicious and filling. I always love coming to this place. They're a bit pushy and keep asking if you want a drink, but the food is great. I get it more than any other Chinese. A bit expensive but so it is these days.“
“I think any Chinese food in NH is grand slam. The orange chicken here was great, and I think the wonton soup was the best wonton soup I'd ever had. I learned I was born in the year of the sheep from the paper place mat. I'd eat here again. Great food, great prices, and great ladies.“
“The food always reflects the price, and I have never had a bad meal here. The workers are very kind and they make some fantastic sushi. It is typically quiet inside, which is the kind of environment I like to dine in. The special rolls, especially the mango tango, Nashua, and TNT, are my favorites.Parking: There is street parking, but it is sometimes full. There are public parking lots nearby luckily, as long as you don't mind walking a couple blocks!“
“We went there on New Years Eve (12/31/23) Most of the Chinese Restaurants in the area were only take-out No Dining Room service. Bonsai did have their dining room open. There were people out the door waiting for their takeout which was a good sign! For a New Years Eve, the food was great, the service was great, even though the whole staff was busy just with takeouts. They told us (being honest) that their service was not totally up to par, because of the huge amount of takeouts they had! They gave us a $15 coupon for our next visit and assured us that the service would be much better. Every server that came to our table was friendly, and attentive! Will go again for sure!“
“Excellent American style Chinese food. Waiters in bow ties ample seating with nice table cloths. Really enjoyed the boneless spare ribs. My only suggestion is to offer egg rolls as well as spring rolls. The food is what keeps me coming back and is worth the little extra it costs.“
“So, I came here for a family event with 20+ people. I ordered Chicken lo mein, Orange chicken and a poo poo platter for 2. The food tasted delicious! They serve the platters with fire on top and the portions are huge the wait time wasn’t that long it was only 45 minutes for my family of 20+ the waiters didn’t talk much but they were polite the bathrooms do smell like cigarettes but everything else is delicious!“
“One of the best Chinese food in New Hampshire hands-down and also one of my favorite Chinese spot same taste as when I was a child in New York. I don’t think New Hampshire can can beat them bamboo garden, one of the best restaurants I recommend everyone that’s from New York to come down to bamboo Garden and get yourself a plate.“
“I love this place owners are awesome really nice people, it's my favorite Chinese in nashua or wherever really I've gone, but I love their scallion pancakes and crab Rangoon best around and idk what it is but the best wings ever my favorite over any chicken around or ever yeah i said it point blank perrioood, and their rice is some of my favorite, I either get pupu platter or general tso's dineer, foods great inexpensive and fast service, and I love their hot mustard my nostrils say ouch but my heart says yes lol“
“Went to Hong Kong City for New Years. Got a Pu Pu Platter for 2. It was fantastic. Food was hot and fresh. The boneless spare ribs were very meaty and not mostly fat like I used to get at my old Chinese Restaurant. The staff was very friendly and the prices were good. I can't stress how good everything was. This is my Chinese Restaurant now. I used to go to Heng Won but not anymore.“
“I absolutely LOVE Szechuan House. This place makes the best Chinese food around. The staff is very personable, the food is fantastic, the atmosphere is ideal. Why can't I give them a 10 star review? I highly recommend the orange chicken! However, everything I have eaten here is delicious! Do not miss out on a meal from Szechuan House.“
“Food was amazing! A lot of times boneless ribs are dry and overcooked, but these were just right, and the chicken fingers and pork fried rice were sooo good. Restaurant could use some updates as it's been the same inside for over a decade at least, but it's clean and family friendly. We moved to TN and Chinese food is horrible in the south. It was so nice to have some really good food while up here.“
“We dined on a Thursday evening. The restaurant is on the smaller side but for me that's usually a great indicator of fresh quality food. That's exactly what we recieved. The sushi roll we got was delicious, the rice, the pot stickers, crab Rangoon. Everything was fresh with quality ingredients. The service was polite and “
“I miss this place. Stuck living out here in San Diego California (husband's in the military) where the pupu platters are such a tiny amount of food, like enough to feed a toddler and expensive. Next time I'm in New Hampshire I'm stopping by Heng Won for their pupu platter where they pack it with a ton of yummy food and rice?“
“Good selection on the menu for dinner and lunch combos.Almost all the dinner selections are available at a lunch combo with soup, rice and an appetizerServer was very attentive and checked on us frequently. As far as atmosphere, they could keep it a little warmer. We shouldn't have to eat with our coats on to stay warm.“
“Wok wok is an absolute gem. Exactly what you hope for out of a local Chinese food spot but rarely find. All the classics are better than average (beef teriyaki, boneless sparerib, general tsos, etc) and everything seems to be made fresh (even the rice is solid). Overall, fantastic takeout chinese joint. If my wife liked Chinese food, I'd order from here weekly for my fix.“
“Came here on Easter. It was excellent. They were attentive, prompt, and the sushi was the best I've had in the area so far.The rolls were generously sized without being difficult to eat. The flavors were good without being bland or overwhelming.I can't really think of anything that bothered me about the meal. So five stars.Forgot to take a photo until halfway done.“
“Our food is always delicious. The Mai Tais are strong and super tasty. And the service is always friendly and quick. We love pooping in early when our little one gets out of school and are so appreciative of the welcoming staff for a delicious and quick dinner.“
“Such a hidden gem. Absolutely love this place. We are always more than satisfied with the service and the food that we get. Great quality ?Vegetarian options: My daughter gets the veggie delight from here and by far the best we've ever had from anywhere.“
“Been coming here a while and wanted to share my personal experience. Ordered a combo dinner and when I got home i saw they gave me the wrong food. Upset, i angrily call them and tell them. They were super nice about it and actually replaced not only the missinf items but the entire meal. We all make mistakes sometimes but its about how we respond to them that matter. They have definitely gained a lifelong customer. Also side note, the food is GREAT.“
