“I've been going here for over 10 years. I love the crab rangoon. And all the food. But , they must spend a fortune in printing menus because they always charge you more than what the menu says and then they tell you that the menu is old. I'm posting a picture of two menus that I just got in the past month. Another picture is what I just got online, I took a screenshot. And it also says that the menu was updated 2 days ago. So if the menu was updated two days ago and as you can see in the picture it says $10 minimum for Visa or MasterCard. When I get there she says it's a $15 minimum for Visa or MasterCard. So she charges me an extra dollar. Besides the fact, that I was charged more than the price of the menu I just got last week. And she says don't you have any cash? I said no. She always asks for cash. And then she up charges me. She's a little tiny lady with a sweet little voice. But also a very big scam artist. I always support local businesses. But I do not support you taking my hard earned money out of my pocket. And then saying oh well. After over 10 years I'm done. There's plenty of other places to go. If you try to call her out on her scamming, she say to leave now. I don't need that kind of drama.“

“What an amazing restaurant in the most ideal location in Lowell. Today was my first time having entered the beautiful location and had take out. I can without a doubt state that my husband and I will be coming in and be patrons because of the friendly service, unique style, and most definitely the fresh ingredients used in their menu. “Great prices and quality. The food is always fresh, never greasy, not loaded with sodium, plenty of options. My favorite is the Appetizer Lunch or Dinner, you pick 3 and can add extra ones for a modest price. It's a mini PuPu platter with none of the things you don't want. Everyone in my office LOVES this place. We stopped ordering from the local well known place, both have excellent food, but again, love the options and price.“

“I really enjoy Lu’s Kitchen. My family, friends, and I have been coming here for years—both pre-COVID and especially throughout the pandemic. I’ve had the pleasure of watching the children who used to take our orders grow up into beautiful, professional young ladies, and I’ve always admired how they help support the family business.
That said, I do miss the classic mom-and-pop restaurants that remember their regulars and show a sense of appreciation toward long-term customers. Despite being consistent regulars who order pretty much the same thing every time, we’ve never really been acknowledged as loyal patrons—whether through a simple nod of gratitude, a warm greeting, or a small thoughtful gesture. It’s never about wanting something for free; it’s simply about feeling valued as a long-time customer who has consistently chosen to support their business over many other options. I just wish there was a bit more warmth and gratitude extended to all their regulars, regardless of background.
Overall, Lu’s Kitchen is still a great place to get good, authentic Chinese food, and you will definitely find top-tier cleanliness and professionalism here. I just hope they can work a little more on building warm, welcoming connections with the community that has supported them for so long.“

“A little sugar goes a long way. No need to overly sweeten food. You need your customers alive. Also just recently ordered your rice and it didn't have that smokey wok flavor. 😟
Please keep the rice the same as always. Maybe a different cook i don't know but you have the best rice in town. And never too greasy. Other than this flavor is always great. Hunan Chicken, chicken and broccoli and orange chicken is a hit. And rice when fresh with smoky wok flavor. Can't wait to try a few other things.“

“It is basically a take out place with a few tables of you want to eat there. I always get a luncheon or dinner plate for myself unless I’m having my son and his family over then I order off the menu.
I love egg foo young and they give you 2 omelets instead of one .
My husband got the beef and broccoli and he said the beef was tender .
And we got an egg roll for a apppetizer.
You can’t go wrong with the luncheon and dinner plates . While I waiting for my order about 5 people came in and did a pick up and that was 12:30 pm“

The establishment itself is outdated but it adds charm to the place, I love it.

“My partner and I really enjoy the food at Lake East! It's one of the only American Chinese food places that serves the barbeque pork strips I really like. We've gone here twice, the first time was two years ago when we were staying in the area and we liked it so much we decided to go back last night for take out again. I would definitely say it's more of a take out location than an eat in location but the food is good and I would recommend!“

Vegetable lo mein was on point flavorful and full of veggies. The M2 platter was pretty good big chicken, wings, and beef teriyaki. Lost a star on my General guas chicken, it was mostly general guas breading. Hopefully my leftovers tomorrow have some more chicken in them.

“First time customer. Ordered takeout right at the counter. The place was clean, staff friendly and my order was ready in about 8 minutes. Extremely fast. Food was awesome! All hot and very tasty. The only negative thing I would have to say is the duck sauce is a little too sweet for my liking but hey, add some soy sauce and it was perfect!

“I used to live down the street from this place years ago. When I moved away I searched and searched to find a place even modestly comparable....Spoiler Alert....no such place exists. I recently moved back into town, and nothing has changed here for the better. It remains the most delicious and fresh Chinese food I've had in years!! “I've been wanting to try this place for a long time. I've always heard great things. Today i stopped in and got the best hot & sour soup I've had in 30 years. I'm talking nearly perfect. I also got a chicken yaki udon noodle and id give it a 9/10. Great bouncy noodles with plenty of flavor and no shortage of chicken and veggies. I cannot wait to try more from this place. I'm coming from tewksbury and it's totally worth the drive.“

I had stopped going there when I had started eating gluten free food, however, I just realized that they now have great gluten free options including my favorite, General Gau's chicken! Family members who don't eat gluten free loved the hot & sour soup, the spring rolls, the boneless honey ribs, and the beef and broccoli. “Fu Hing's is singularly the BEST Chinese food in the area, and I have had just about all of them from Newburyport to Boston. I have been desperate for decent takeout since I moved to Massachusetts from NYC, and most of what I've tried within a 40-minute drive from my house has been inedible. Fu Hing's is 8 minutes from me and everything they make is delicious. Special shout-out to their egg rolls, lo mein, and dumplings. I literally cannot believe how much better the food was than anywhere else in a 50 mile radius.“
