“Wow! SOOOOO GOOD. We were a party of eight including three toddlers. We were welcome and felt at ease in the lovely outdoor space. Everyone was so friendly and attentive. Most impressive of all was the delicious food! We devoured the massive spread, and even the kids couldn’t get enough. We lingered and played. I brought some brisket home to my husband (a world traveled gourmet) and he keeps exclaiming how perfectly the meat was cooked! We live in Amherst, but all decided this would be a regular spot for future evenings.Kid-friendliness: It is a bar/restaurant, but everyone was super welcoming to the kids. And the kids had the time of their lives!“

“The building itself is understated from the outside, inside there is a beautiful atmosphere and soft lighting. The drinks consisted of speciality cocktails, wine and beer options. We were disappointed that we couldn’t order a strawberry martini when we couldn’t find something that we really wanted in their listing. However, we went with the Blue Heron with the flaming orange. We definitely expected something different. The drink was delicious but the “flaming” orange consisted of the poor waitress burning her fingers as she flicked the orange peel with a lighter. No flames. Just someone handling your garnish and warming up the peel for a second. It was a bit awkward so we skipped the flaming orange for the second round Food was delicious. Our table had some bread and soup to start. Main course was the steak, Oysters and for the picky eater (me), I found the Gnocci to be yummy. Other than a very limited menu and a weird parlor trick, It was a good experience. If they add some pasta dishes to their menu, I’d go back.“

“The pizza here is very good! We spent a couple of days staying in Greenfield on business and decided to try Hillside pizza based on the good reviews. From the outside, you wouldn't know what a tasty gem it is and might drive right past it.The crust is perfectly crisp, tender and delicious. They also have unique and tasty variations of specialty pizza. We ordered a simple mushroom pizza and it was very flavorful. The Jane pizza is a house specialty and super delicious. We gave 5 stars for atmosphere because, for a hole in the wall pizza joint, it's clean, super cozy with a small makeshift fireplace, and it has a cozy bar to eat at if you prefer. Service is polite and attentive. And try the maple knots if they are available! We will definitely return.“

“My son's sport team was playing in the area and it was our turn to buy dinner. I stopped into Roberto's and ordered 12 16" pizzas. The owner was great. I didn't give much notice and came back about 1.5hr later at the time I asked the ordered to be ready. When I arrived he was just taking the last few pizzas out of the oven. My son's team was happy and enjoyed the pizzas greatly. This place is pretty much just a take out pizza shop. Family owned and operated. When I pulled up and walked in I really didn't know what to ecspect. But the pizza was great. If I lived local this would be my go to place.“

“Our server Shayla was amazing. She was knowledgeable about the menu and gave great recommendations. We ordered the oysters Rockefeller appetizer. They were done just right. I had the hangar steak which you could cut with a butter knife. My partner had the seafood risotto which she loved. We shared the sticky toffee pudding and let's say it was the best I ever had. Definitely will be coming back and recommend it to anyone looking for a good meal with great service. The ambiance of the restaurant is nice and we loved the music in the background.“

“I've always enjoyed Magpie's food. It is slightly more expensive then some of the competing local restaurants but worth it for the variety their menu offers. The only downside is a location that makes finding parking for pickup difficult.“

“I’ve been here twice now and I have enjoyed it each time! I got blackened fish tacos which were to die for, they did them so well. It was hard not to get them when I went the second time, but I got the salmon instead and was not disappointed. It was cooked perfectly. Broccoli was steamed quickly I think and then also browned off, but still had a bit of crisp to them. Also got the Brussels sprout appetizer and we devoured them, they were amazing! I have not gotten so excited for a vegetable before. The service is always friendly. I will surely be coming here again and again.“

“Mostly good. However when 5 of us arrived restaurant was not busy. We asked for the round booth in the back that fits larger parties. There was an employee, maybe a manager??? on a computer sitting there and was told by staff that we requested the table. She very visibly was irritated and rolled her eyes several times. She made no effort to move in a timely fashion, and when other employees went over to her, she loudly complained that she was being moved. I've been a restaurant manager and it's ridiculous that the one table she chose to sit at was the largest one in the restaurant. Disrespectful and unprofessional.“

“Our family orders from here on a regular basis. We’ve generally been pretty satisfied. One night I decided to try to make a stir fry for the fam, but for some reason my rice ALWAYS comes out atleast somewhat mushy. So my fix, was to buy white rice (and other items as well, white rice isn’t much of a purchase, so it wasn’t my only one, out of respect) from the pros who make it for stir frys…Im not trying to replace a Chinese restaurant, I just wanted to see what I could do! Out of interest. Even tho white rice is the one thing Chinese restaurants have in abundance, and always keep prepped for orders, my family was denied the ability to buy a bunch of white rice (again, along w other items)…because I know that the one thing a Chinese restaurant can have and continue to make, I don’t understand why I couldn’t buy quality Asian made rice to test my experimental stir fry (I didn’t want my bad rice to ruin the meal). My business doesn’t matter apparently. Even tho I spend hundreds of dollars there regularly. Very regularly. I’ll be rethinking my patronage. I’m super disappointed I couldn’t even just try a new cooking method. It’s not like I’m trying to sell Chinese food. I just wanted rice that would hold up. Anyhoo. Some customers don’t matter here. I will say that they ran out of white rice (that goes along w SO many diff meals) barely halfway through the day. ?“

“So I went here tonight and I’ve gone here for years but tonight I had the best waitress named Amy. She was so sweet and made my terrible night a bit better. She deserves the best in life and I’m really sad that I didn’t get a chance to wish her a good rest of her night as I was in a big group and in a rush as my night wasn’t the best.
