It has been a year since I’ve been here and I came back today for brunch and I’m pleased to say that my experience was not good, it was outstanding. The food was tremendous, the service was excellent, the atmosphere was clean and under control, and it was really great to observe the productive flow of the team members & management, and the satisfaction of every other customer in the establishment during my time in Johnny’s. For a popular local establishment that serves a diverse variety of communities and college students, I couldn’t have been more impressed. I would recommend Johnny’s Roadside Diner to anyone who is looking for high quality customer service, excellent food, and a great experience with friends and family. “We were coming from thr airport and needed to catch a quick bite. I found out about this place a few years ago, but we never had a chance to go. I ended up getting the Santa Fe salad and a cup of chili because it was a chili kind of day. It had good flavor, but it had green peppers in it. Not a fan. The salad was good sized, so I ended up leaving with a box. My husband had the nachos. I tasted a little of the port, which wasn't bad. The portion was huge and he was loving the Carolina sauce, but there's a self-serve station so you can try them all. And they had to-go boxes handy, so you didn't have to ask the staff. Although they were quite friendly. Nice display of desserts next to the counter, but we did not partake this time. Lots of parking and some booth seating with a rustic interior.“

“This Chinese restaurant exceeded all my expectations! The food was absolutely delicious, especially the honey walnut shrimp and vegetable fried rice. Every dish tasted fresh and full of authentic flavor. The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. The restaurant was spotless and had a warm, relaxing atmosphere. I can honestly say this is one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time.“

“We're from Wisconsin and had breakfast March 31 in your restaurant. I wish I could remember our waitress' name, but she was delightful. I had the (canned)corned beef hash omelet and loved it. I've never seen an omelet shaped the way you serve it, but again it was terrific on looks alone! You folks do a marvelous job.“

“I liked their strong iced coffee. It was a nice little morning boost. Really cute interior and also exterior seating as well in a picturesque location. Very friendly service. My bacon egg and cheese bagel I felt was definitely overpriced at $8.50 and unfortunately the cheese was bland, I think they used a white cheddar that just didnt have much flavor, and the bacon, while flavorful when taken out of the sandwich and eaten by itself, it didn’t really give enough flavor to the sandwich as a whole. It tasted better when it was taken apart and ate as separate components. The egg part of it also looked like it was premade or it was synthetic eggs… it didnt look like it came off a griddle from fresh cracked eggs. Overall it was unfortunately a bland BEC. I did appreciate the thick cut bacon that they used although they only put one slice it seemed. If I go back, I’ll ask for American cheese and maybe it’ll taste better next time.“

“What can I say? This restaurant is an institution. There is no Indian food like it in the United States. Truly authentic and delicious, extremely reasonable prices, perfect ambiance, and wonderfully hospitable. The staff are very kind, personal, and professional. Whether it be Kerala fish curry, puri bhaji from Mumbai, or tandoori chicken, the food covers a vast array of Indian dishes from many regions of the country, with the dinner and lunch buffet alike being plentifully tasty and fulfilling. The atmosphere of the restaurant itself is full of community, with many people, from college students to retirees, coming together to enjoy a feast under its roof. As someone who has a deep appreciation of Indian cuisine, I can honestly say that this is some of the best Indian food you will ever find. There are simply no words to do justice to the experience of eating at Bombay Royale and I could not recommend it more highly.“

“My daughter and I had to get dinner and not many places were open on a Monday at 8:30. My daughter found Johnnys and we called to verify we could order and eat there as kitchen closes at 9:00. This was our first time there and it will not be the last time. The waiter was very informative when it came to the food. Told us a lot of the favorites and description of it. We had a hard time deciding and he (Gabriel) brought us a sample of a sauce to taste. Glad he did, it was too spicy for us…. We’re whimps. We ended up ordering the potstickers, sticky ribs and the beef tips with broccoli and garlic noodles. All were outstanding! Yes we brought home left overs (mine were gone when I got home not reheated. OMG!). If you choose not to try them (more for us) but big mistake. It’s our new favorite restaurant and we live at least 30 minutes away.“

“One of the best restaurants in Amherst! My partner and I order from here once or twice a week; the food is consistently fresh, hot, and delicious. Everything is seasoned perfectly. The all-day combo is so affordable, with a lot of options. We like the General Tso's Chicken, Mapo Tofu, Beef Teriyaki Skewers, Poached Chicken over Rice, and Crab Rangoons, but you can't miss with anything here. Compared to the first catering service we considered, El Rincón immediately stood out. They offered a wider variety of dishes at a more reasonable cost, which mattered to us as we were trying to honor our mom without adding extra stress. “this is one of my favorite places to go for Gluten-free food. I love their East West burrito bowl with extra veggies and my boyfriend always gets the beef brisket burrito with bacon (he adds it.) One time he got the burrito and he realized he didn't like the thick grilled onions in it. I wrote in explaining the onions were cut very thick (I know that writing in to complain is a bit dramatic but I also praised how much we love their food.) well, they edited their online ordering to include an option to select "no onions." we eat there at least once a week because the prices are so reasonable with quality of food top notch. 5 stars!“

“Every Thursday is Chicken Tenders Night for the squad. I'm reviewing this on a Monday even though Chicken Tenders Night is on Thursday, that's how much I'm looking forward to Thursday! Nothing beats onion rings and chicken tenders. My friends and I all live in Southwest, but we make the trip to Worcester ever week. We basically walk a mile from our dorms just to get to Worcester! It's our late night ritual.. I recommend always getting honey mustard and blue cheese. Sometimes I tell my friends that I can't talk right now because all I want to do is eat and wait in line for the next batch of chicken.“
