“stevie’s is a takeout place for pizza, subs, salad, chicken, wings, and tenders, and other good food cooked quickly. The food is reliably good on every experience, and through their app they offer unquestionably the best value for pizza, etc., in our town and other pizza places nearby. It is worth signing up for their email offers or text messages to get great deals. Tonight we ordered a large cheese pizza for half price! The crust is firm enough so the slices do NOT DROOP! Other places serving pan pizza too often yield a slice that looks like it needs Viagra. Ha ha ha. their chicken tenders are crispy on the outside with tender white meat, chicken on the inside, i.e., done just right every time. They offer a good selection of dipping sauces, and extra Sauces can be added to your order for $2 each. However, if you want to save a couple of bucks, just ask the person at the pick up counter just to throw some sauces in the bag. They seldom at a charge after the fact! 😉 Because my adult son was visiting to help his poor old dad with multiple fractured ribs and a fractured scapula to clear snow off the driveway, And because said son Has a HUGE APPETITE, we also added a small order of curly fries. Stevie’s fries are always crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, which is to say done PERFECTLY!

“It matches the hype. The Sicilian Pizza is…perfect. There’s not enough superlatives to do it justice and if there were, even then it wouldn’t reach hyperbole. Craziest thing of it all is the pricing. Four slices, arancini, and a drink for $16.00? How? In today’s economy how are they keeping the price this low? Also amazing. Just go. Don’t think about it, don’t pass go, don’t collect $200…go get your dang perfect slice.“

“I write reviews all the time, and I visit a lot of restaurants, so I’m not easily impressed. But this place truly deserves every one of these five stars.
I normally don’t like restaurant pizza and hadn’t eaten pizza in over a year because I could never find one that I genuinely enjoyed. Then today I tried the O’ Cheese Parm Pizza here, and wow—I finally found a pizza I absolutely love! The onion rings were incredible too.
What impressed me even more was the service. Every employee was friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. You can teach people how to serve food, but you can’t teach genuine kindness—and this place has it.
The food was amazing, but honestly, even if it hadn’t been, the outstanding customer service alone would make me want to come back. That’s how good the staff are.

At this point, I’m convinced they should start charging me rent.

Jade is the absolute best. She’s one of those people who can somehow make your day better just by being herself. Whether it’s recommending a wine I’d never think to order, talking me through the menu when decision fatigue has completely taken over, or making an absolutely perfect French 75, she somehow always knows exactly what I need. She has this effortless way of making everyone at the bar feel like a regular, and you can tell she genuinely cares about the people who walk through the door. She’s one of the biggest reasons I keep coming back.

And then there is Ty. Some of my favorite visits turn into conversations with him. We can talk about just about anything, and somehow he always has the perfect mix of humor, perspective, and genuine interest. It’s never just small talk. It’s the kind of conversation that makes you forget you walked in exhausted after work, and before you know it, your whole day is better.

Chris is always quick to say hi when he sees me, which is one of those little things that makes you feel welcome before you’ve even sat down.

Ann rounds out my dream team behind the bar. Between Ann, Jade, and Ty, I’ve discovered wines I never would’ve ordered on my own, had more laughs than I can count, and have never once felt like just another customer. Whether I stop in early or after a long day at work, they always make me feel like I’m exactly where I should be.

Jilllllll and Angela are always happy to commiserate with me about whatever kind of day I’ve had. And in the interest of full disclosure… while I was literally writing this review, one of them popped up behind me and scared the life out of me. I couldn’t have planned that timing if I tried.

Now let’s talk about the food.

I’ve honestly never had a bad meal here. Every single thing I’ve ordered has been outstanding, but if I had to pick a favorite, the beef cheek is absolutely unreal. Every plate arrives with a refined flair that somehow manages to feel elevated without ever feeling pretentious. It’s comfort food that decided to put on a tailored suit.

The Salty Pig has become more than a restaurant for me. It’s where I unwind after work, where decision fatigue magically disappears because someone always has the perfect recommendation, where I’ve learned to appreciate great wine, and where I know I’ll leave happier than I arrived.

To Jade, Ann, Ty, Chris, Jilllllll, Angela, and everyone else at The Salty Pig: thank you for making an incredible restaurant feel like home away from home. You all are the secret ingredient!!!!“

“This is one of my favourite sit down pizza places around Boston. I love the vibe of the place, especially sitting on their outside seating during good weather. The 2 times I’ve been here, both times I was amazed by the things I ordered. To add, I’m a vegetarian too, and the pizza I tried this time was the eggplant pizza, it was so good!! “This restaurant is what the definition of a hidden gem is. The food is fresh, delicious, exactly what you look for in a great slice of pizza. They have many options, including burgers and subs, which all are made fresh to order as well.
