“Got a eggplant sub and it was out of this world good!!!! The bread was so delicious which really makes a huge difference in the taste. The eggplant was cooked perfectly perfect sliced and crispness! The sauce and cheese was good not over powering. Could use the cheese spread out some more would be my only suggestion. Would definitely go back and order the same and then try something different too!“

“Worth a trip on the T to JP just for this pizza. Small place with 3 stools to sit so grab your pizza and find somewhere to eat it. Got the Salsiccia pizza and the pesto sauce was delicious and pizza was cooked well. no soggy slice. It was a 15ish minute wait“

“I've never left a google review in my life but I cannot speak more highly of this place.

I made a big mistake about a catering order I placed 2 hours before an event that my nonprofit was holding. I spoke to who I assume was the owner of the restaurant and he was SO kind and accommodating. He created a catering order for me that he knew would feed the amount of guests at the event and due to my confusion (which was entirely my fault), without hesitation he offered to have it delivered to the event even though the restaurant does not deliver. I am certain that the amount of food definitely cost more than the amount that he charged me. He also offered to throw in free cookies after I shared we are a nonprofit. Not only was all of his kindness greatly appreciated by our organization but after the event ended, multiple attendees expressed how delicious the food was. One asked where the chicken alfredo was from so they could go get some themselves!! We have never received a post-event email about the food before!!

“Frank Pepe's is my favorite local pizza restaurant. Their New Haven style pizza is a thin crispy crust with minimal toppings that's cooked in a coal oven.
It comes out hot and steaming and delicious.

Their tomato pie (only available in season) and their clam pie are unique classics.

My favorite is their pepperoni and cherry tomatoes. The pepperoni comes out crispy and lightly burnt and it's perfectly complemented by the spicy peppers.

It's great for kids and families, and it's a unique place for dates!“

My fiancée and I went tonight, I ordered a regular slice and I got the Pizzaiola sub. The slice was simple, however the taste of homemade ingredients slaps you in the face. The pizzaiola sub was something extraordinary. Half a pound of chuck steak, delicious vodka sauce and homemade mozz on fresh Italian bread… can’t beat that. For dessert we got homemade pumpkin pie. Don’t tell her but my grandma couldn’t make a better pumpkin pie on thanksgiving day. Everything was great, phenomenal date night and the owner Dave is a gem. One hell of a spot, We will be back.“

“We had an issue with Grub Hub, and ended up having the restaurant cancel the order (ordered large but they only had the small dough at the time, which I didn’t think would feed the family, they were very obliging in canceling) we ordered from Papa Gino’s which was more money, and honestly not great, my son (ASD and ARFID) didn’t like it and refused to eat because it was cold. Rocco’s then delivered a large caramelized onion, and gave it to us for free (we owe you a double tip next time, my husband forgot in the confusion). My son immediately dove in eating the onions off the piece and the rest of the piece of pizza. You have made a customer out of us. Not only because of the excellent customer service but the food was very good and reasonably priced. Can’t wait to try some of the other dishes as well, due to the reviews.“

The food was amazing we got the verde pizza and the pepperoni pizza both were cooked perfectly and the kitchen sink salad was addicting. I loved that they had NA drink options. The waitstaff was really kind and friendly. I said on the reservation that I have an egg allergy and the hostess handed me a menu when I got there that marked down which items had eggs and which were safe for me to eat. “I have a complaint to be made, the chef Orlin Garcia himself, who works at the establishment, said that Mr. Carlos, the owner of Mak's.the kitchen is very dirty, there are a lot of rats, if basic sanitation is improved there, people will run the risk of catching leptospirosis, the snacks are very tasty and very dirty. Max Orlim Garcia's cook brought me a snack, my son-in-law said don't eat it because Mr. Carlos, the owner of the pizzeria, uses leftover food from other people at the table or what's left over As I said, Americans drool with desire for this burger, even though it's leftovers from other tables. He's a dirty and disgusting person, and Orlim himself helps to remake the burgers.“
