I have been here several times and have received fries that were stone cold on most occasions. The last time I went, I picked up a chicken sandwich meal for my stepson to show off how good the chicken was and it too, was cold. Needless to say, he wasn't impressed and I felt bad for the suggestion. The food itself is good, it just needs to be HEATED properly! Update: Our last visit was much better, fast service and friendly staff.Terrible experience. I was told it would be an extra 5 minutes and that they would park me. I waited over twenty before going in. They still had me wait longer. Other options in area.

We miss Popeye's chicken !!! After spending 27 years living down south, an hour outside New Orleans, we were SO EXCITED to find Popeye's in New Bedford! It's the best fried chicken. We go almost every time we're in New Bedford now, the chicken is always fresh and fried to perfection, the staff are always polite and give great service. SO HAPPY WE FOUND YOU in Massachusetts. We need more locations, especially on the Cape!!!
