This was a great place for dinner! We got 20% because we went to the New Bedford Whaling museum. I got clam chowder, burger, and pesto chicken sandwich. It was affordable and a cute outdoor eating place by the water! The fries and service were amazing!
Really love the casual outdoor setting; ample picnic tables even on a beautiful weekend day. Fairly fast service. Lobster roll price is a bit steep but comes with a lot of fries; wish the roll had a bit more meat in it; a few bites were just only bread. Also had the fried scallops which were juicy and fresh.

The clam chowder is outstanding, and the scallop plate and scallop roll are delicious. The Whale's Tail is a smaller company to The Black Whale just next door, featuring the perfect seafood mix and even a burger or chicken fingers for those who don't partake.
