“Every year I host a tennis charity event Serve For a Cure in support of the Jimmy fund and the Dana Farber Cancer Institute. I reached out to Nothing Bundt Cakes, via email thinking they wouldn’t answer me. I got an phone call saying they would like to donate cakes to my event. When I was told how many, I was flabbergasted. They were so generous and very easy to work with. The day of my event a friend of mine picked up the personal cakes, and we gave them out to the tennis players. I some how got 4 of them. They were delicious! I would highly recommend Nothing Bundt Cakes for your next occasion or even just a sweet treat.“

Staff scoop quickly, Ice cream is fresh and tasty. The ice cream is on the expensive side, but is rich in flavor, a bit sweet but not overly sweet, and has a great taste.

They have soft serve options as well as yogurt available, and there are many flavors available for ice cream as well.“

“Here’s a revieWe had a decent meal at The Abby. The food itself was good, but we had a small issue with the salad. I had asked to substitute the fries for a salad, and while I appreciated the option, it came already dressed. I personally liked the dressing, but I usually prefer my salads without it, and would have appreciated being asked. Unfortunately, my partner didn’t like the dressing at all and ended up not eating her salad. A small thing, but it would’ve made a difference if they had checked with us first.“

Cold brew was good but loaded with ice, wife's ginger summer drink was really good with a lot less ice. Lamb hash was full of flavor, but nothing exciting for brunch level with ground meat as the hash instead of pulled or shredded. Wife's muesli was delicious with fresh fruit. Counters and tables did not seem to be cleaned between patrons and we had to skip a few seats to find one clean to eat at. The brioche toast was delicious and we wish we could have grabbed some more pastries, but it would have been another 30 minutes in line.“

“I was in Boston for a business trip and one of my colleagues happened to stumble upon Tatte. He raved about the coffee and the pastries, so I had to try it. I ordered a coffee and the raspberry, pistachio tart.
It was amazing! The coffee was incredible. Rich, smooth, flavorful. Not too hot to drink. It’s everything you imagine a high end coffee should be.
The tart was delicious. Full of flavor, not overly flakey. Just perfect.
This will be my go to spot on my next trip to Boston.“

“My coworker drives from the North Shore for these croissants and I’m glad I finally tried them. I think the almond croissant and regular croissant are very good. The apple turnover was okay. I’m sure the canele is good too, but I think mine was very slightly underbaked. Will definitely come back.“

Colette Bakery in Melrose has some of the best pastries around! I’m a sucker for chocolate croissants, and the Cho-colette croissant at Colette is so delicious (pro tip, take the croissant home and toss in the air fryer to warm the pastry!)

Buttery but light and flaky, cooked just right - understated perfection in a bag! I grew up in France, and this is honestly one of the best French pastries I have had in 28 years living in the US. “I am so grateful that a place like this exists. As someone with a severe peanut allergy I can never have baked goods. I also have a severe allergy to peas and pea protein which can be a common pairing of allergies. I did find that there are vegan pastries in the same case that are made with butter that contains pea protein so I didn’t feel 100% safe eating the baked goods. If they were to be more separate or the vegan baked goods didn’t contain peas, I would be here every single weekend. The staff was SO nice and went over the top to ensure I knew ingredients. Highly recommend but with caution if you have a legume / pea allergy like me!“
