“I haven’t tried the food yet but I am writing a good review because “Tony” at the reception was very nice. He actually took his time asking us what languages we speak when my husband and I said that english is not our first language and made a prononciation mistake.

He even helped us get exactly what we wanted when we did not know what to take and then confirmed our orders when we were leaving by opening the boxes and making sure we had what we wanted.

Thank you Tony. Keep up the good work and you deserve a raise !“

“George was such a pleasure to meet! We stopped in and tried the burger, chicken sandwich, tacos, and General Gao's chicken with rice—and every single dish was fresh, flavorful, and reasonably priced. To top it all off, his decadent banana pudding was the perfect ending to a fantastic meal. You can truly tell he cares about his customers and the quality of the food. We'll definitely be back!

“I expected more than corned beef out of a can from the description on the menu. The home fries were cold. Good sized portions and the service was adequate. We chose another breakfast place for the next day. Great location, though, in a walkable neighborhood .“

“I loved the food and the vibe of this small family-owned restaurant. Our server, Reza, gave wonderful explanations and recommendations. The vegetarian Ghorme sabzi, which I paired with Lentil Rice With Fried Onion & Raisin, was outstanding. So flavorful! I also enjoyed the tea with rock sugar and saffron. The restaurant was packed but we did not feel rushed. I was too full for dessert, but definitely will be back to try more.“

“Just ate at Ali baba and wow, it was awesome! The place has a really chill vibe and smells amazing as soon as you walk in.

We started with some French fries and pita – super tasty and fresh. The falafel was crispy and not dry at all. The chicken kebabs were on point, juicy and full of flavor.

For dessert, we had baklava, and it was the perfect way to end the meal. Sweet and flaky, just how I like it.

Service was friendly and quick, which is always a plus. Definitely planning to go back soon to try more stuff on the menu. Highly recommend if you're into Mediterranean food!“

“I got the chicken and rice platter, and it was PHENOMENAL! Chicken was flavorful and moist, rice was soft. Lettuce and tomatoes were super fresh and of course the white sauce and pita rounded everything out. Also the staff was nice by walking me though as it was my first time. I will be returning for sure, and hopefully I'll get the chicken wings next time.“

He has the best customer service I’ve ever seen in my entire life and my food came out hot and ready and it was the best fried chicken I’ve had in a damn while. The meat was tender, juicy, and perfectly seasoned. Combined with the fresh vegetables, soft pita, and flavorful sauces, every bite was delicious. You can really tell they use high-quality ingredients and prepare everything with care.

“On one of the first days at my company, a colleague took me to the old New York Deli on Temple Street and introduced me to Kadhim. I couldn't understand why he would take the time - it's not like this guy is going to remember me out of all of the people who come through there. My mistake - every time I would see him over the years, at whatever location, Kadhim would come from behind the counter and greet me by name like an old friend. Understand - he was told my name once, over 20 years ago. I don't even go out to lunch very often - sometimes it would be years between visits to one of the Falafel King locations. But every time I enter, it's a big smile and greeting and an expression of appreciation that cannot be faked...go check them out!“

“We usually order from a different Shawarma place in Somerville, but decided to give Sam's a try. The food was very good, and in good sized portions. They were good about following requests to leave things out of the wraps. Note that they do the style with fries on the side rather than in the wrap. My only complaint is that they list some, but not all, of the ingredients on their site. So if you have things you can't eat, I definitely recommend calling them to double check. My partner can't do creamy sauces, and they listed tahini sauce but not garlic sauce in the lamb/beef shawarma, which ended up being a problem. Not a huge thing, just annoying that they make it look like everything is listed when it isn't.“

“Solid spot for a filling, weekday lunch. Location is a little hard to find as it's way back in Dedham Plaza, beyond the Star Market. Parking is simple and there are a few seats/tables if you wanted to eat in but I assume most patrons do take-out. Inside is clean and well-kept.

I ordered a Regular plate with chicken and beef, lettuce, tomatoes, and red and white sauce. With tax, total is around $15 for a generous portion of delicious food. The lettuce and tomato tastes fresh, adds some crunch, and I love the white sauce.

Will always come back when I'm craving it.“

“I had an amazing experience with Moroccan food. The flavors are rich, warm, and full of spices that blend perfectly together. Every dish feels like it’s made with care and tradition. I love the cheese so much - I know I should also branch out but it really is so good.
