This tiny small store in Newton Centre serves up several variations of what is now my favorite dessert - mochi donuts. As I was never a big fan of (overly) sweet delights, I've never bothered to try them despite hearing about it until recently at an event. I came across Pon de Joy at a recent Yelp Elite event so, as a true #nextlevel Yelp Elite, I repaid the favor by visiting and patronizing their establishment on my own dime. Because I'm not one of *those* amateur "Elites" who lives off Yelp freebies while not patronizing the sponsoring establishments and writing a bare minimum of reviews.
