“I've been to many sushi places, and this is the one I will continue to choose over trying another sushi restaurant again. I don't like avocado or shrimp, so finding menus that give other options is hard. This one hits a home run for other options with crab, tuna, and lobster! Service can be a bit slow sometimes if they are busy“

“Love Pokeworks Providence, I think I’ve gone every single week at least once since they’ve opened! I think I’ve tried every combination of the menu, and have several Favorites and several custom blended favorite! My only suggestion can I buy the dressings? I would love to use them at home for my own marinades and and not is nearly as special salads!!! Having the dressing would not stop me from coming to Pokeworks at least once a week, but I would feel as if I’m eating healthier at home, and I would love to have a little pokey works in my kitchen! Need someone to test market this idea on? I am the one !!!!!!“

Fresh fish, incredible chef and really kind family run atmosphere. You may need to wait a while because they don’t have a ton of staff, so don’t go when you’re on a schedule. But go every other time. Cannot recommend this restaurant enough for sushi lovers with high expectations.“

“My friend, Scott, took me to Haruki last night for dinner, knowing that I’m OBSESSED with sushi, the same way he is. He insisted that it would be worth the drive from Rochester, MA (my location) to Cranston, raving, “It’s the BEST!” and promising me that I won’t be disappointed. I’ll tell you this… he was not wrong!! From the sushi, to the service… A++++ Their entire staff is full of joyous energy and are super on top of everything. It’s so refreshing to see a place of business full of an entire group of people all working so wonderfully together. Getting their ish done like champs all while laughing, smiling, helping, but most importantly, they are all HAPPY. That happiness is infectious. Looking around the restaurant, all you could see was a place full of love, though and through. Our waiter, Tony, was SUCH a sweetheart. Though it was a busy night, he made time to chat with us throughout service. He knows Scott since he’s been a long-time customer. At the end of dinner, Tony truly showed his appreciation to Scotty for being a valued customer for so long by treating us to one of their most delicious bottles of saké, on the house. It was so smooth and delicious. Between the sushi being absolutely phenomenal… I’m talking OUT OF THIS WORLD (and I’m a sushi snob and a half), the rocking staff, the pleasant atmosphere and the fantastic prices, you really can’t beat this gem of a place. “We love ❤️ this place. The staff is wonderful and attentive. We eat here for “breakfast” every Gameday at Patriot Place. Sunday my wife and I had Cape Cod Maki and a Snow Mountain with Clams Casino as an appetizer and then a broiled seafood over spinach combo for me and steak tips for her and we were thoroughly satisfied until we got home at 6pm. We highly recommend this place.“

I came here a few other times. I forgot how good this place was until I came back again today. The people are so nice. It’s so sad how this place is hidden and lowkey because the food is so amazing!!! They deserve more recognition.
I got a shrimp tempura and before Ive had their poke bowls and gyozas… when I tell you I haven’t been able to find a good authentic sushi spot in Rhode Island until now. I had already given them a tip BUT after eating, I had to go back in to give an even bigger tip!!!
I talked to the people as well and they’ve been open for 17 years. The people are from Haruki. They are really such good and genuine people and you can tell they make their food with love.

“Everytime I have went to Azalea it has been outstanding, unfortunately, this time it was horrible. Food was subpar and the service was not friendly at all and the server was annoyed at having to wait on us. We actually felt afraid to ask her for anything. In between us ordering and delivering our food, she would sit at a table and be on her phone.
So disappointed!! I don't know what happened to this place, but I hope they fix it.

“Great place for a late night craving! I popped in here close to closing time and they let me order some take-out. I got a pupu platter with rice and crab rangoons. The food was hot and delicious. The gentleman at the counter was very gracious.“

“As someone with a gluten allergy it can be tough to go out with a group sometimes. Food was amazing they knew exactly what I could and couldn't have and said mine would be cooked in the kitchen not on the hibachi grill with everyone else's. Our waitress was fantastic and even went above and beyond to take group pictures for my friends birthday. Will definitely go back“
