“I don’t live in the area, I’m from the south shore but one day at work I was craving Chinese food so bad and this is next to me. I never go to Chinese places below 4.5 rating (but I was determined) so I tried this place and omg!! Idk why it doesn’t have a higher rating but it’s like my new favorite Chinese food place lol I love the lunch specials. The lomein and king oak chicken and chicken with broccoli are so amazing !!“

“I came in on a regular day no events. Jerry was my server. Fantastic job and kept my cup full. I ordered an appetizer and two sushi rolls.(I accidentally ate one whole roll before taking a picture.) Definitely a great place to eat with a friendly atmosphere.“

“We tried a variety of items. The miso soup and the mushroom and onion soup were both delicious. I ordered the Philadelphia and the OMG roll. The Philadelphia comes with smoked salmon which is hard to find. Both rolls were hands down the best sushi I have had in the Greater Boston area! We also ordered the Sakura fried rice and beef with onions and peppers. They were pretty much the same you can get anywhere else. The sushi is the stand out here! The service was great. The food came out quickly and the server was very friendly. I will be more than glad to drive out of my way to come here again!“

“I love Takara in Medfield. The staff is wonderful. I eat here almost every week. Even during COVID, my family did take out weekly. This is my go-to restaurant. My wife takes me there as a reward!! The food is wonderful and well prepared. I think that I have tried almost everything on the menu over the years. My favorite meal is the spicy tuna avocado salad! The rest of my family enjoys the sushi, sashimi, and various maki rolls which I always help them finish. Korean inspired food is a nice twist on typical sushi. Great place with great service. Great bar and wines too!“

“The staff were very friendly! Definitely would consider this more popular for takeout opposed to a dine-in experience. Food was amazing; sesame chicken had the perfect crisp, however would be a better dish if they included more broccoli. Sushi was also really good considering the price. Coming here again in the future, the perfect hole in the wall gem.“

“I got take-out that was ordered online. The food was good, but the portions were small for the price. Spicy tuna roll - 6 smallish pieces and a shrimp tempura roll - 5 pieces. After tax it was almost $18. So I liked the food, but felt it was expensive for the portions.“
