“I love Uncle Sushi & Grill. Best East Asian food in RI from the places that I’ve tried. Their Vietnamese Chicken Pho is DIVINELY flavorful. And it tastes even better the next day. Their Fried Rice is fresh and flavorful. It has the perfect small amount of oil so you don’t feel bogged down the next day. The chicken wings are so crispy when you get them regular. The spicy ones are less crispy of course due to the sauce but both have beautiful aromatic, well balanced yet complex flavor profiles. They use the perfect amount of Fish Sauce in their dishes so that it’s not overshadowing the rest of the components. Also, their Thai Iced Tea is really smooth and yummy. You can tell the amount of each ingredient placed In the dishes are deeply intentional. The staff is kindly efficient and smart. Due to the size of the space they’re mainly a Takeout Restaurant (order in-person or call during non-rush hours) but the food is well packaged so you aren’t losing any flavor during the ride home. Also, I didn’t experience any spillage in the bags during transport. For all 4 items I spent ~$37 and I have food to keep me going for the next few days! I love this place.“

“Excellent food & service. Pho soup was excellent! Beef & shrimp vermicelli was so good! We also had mint spring rolls & they were delicious with such a wonderful peanut sauce. Mango sticky rice was just so perfectly sweet enough & the mango was ripe to perfection. I had strawberry refresher drink & added my own vodka. It's BYOB. My husband had Jasmine tea & the serving display was just beautiful! I would highly recommend this restaurant. Food was amazing, restaurant is so cozy & beautiful and it's located in the heart of wonderful Pawtuxet Village in Cranston RI.“

“Beautiful spacious atmosphere with lovely views and delicious food. Our spring rolls were fresh, served with a generous portion of delicious fresh peanut dipping sauce. The soupy pork dumplings cannot be duplicated - tender and tasty. Main dishes included salmon (which my friend said was delicious) and a noodles dish, which we selected from a LONG list of options. Creative and extensive drink list, and lovely dessert options. Recommended!“

“I freaking love Sushi Cafe. Out of the entire food court, this is the spot. The sushi is literally so delicious (at least the vegetarian ones- I always get sweet potato and avocado), better than some of the veggie sushi that you might get at a fancy restaurant. The family that runs it is the sweetest, the woman with the bob recognizes me and remembers my order every time. I will always go to Sushi Cafe and bring all my friends.“

“This was an amazing location for a chill romantic dinner. My wife and I were amazed from the first bite of bread. We split apps, trying the beef mofonguitos and the Spruce roll. Even though I dont like sushi, I liked the roll, and the mofonguitos were incredibly well seasoned, and the plantain cups were delicious.

Then our entrees arrived, and we were amazed all over again. I went with the Churrasco Dominican, an incredibly well seasoned steak, with asparagus that almost melted in my mouth. My wife went more Italian, getting the gnocchi, and the combination was delicious.

Fortunately, we left room for dessert, because the cheesecake was velvety in a way that I dont think I have ever had in a cheesecake before (and I have had quite a few).

I already want to go back, and I can absolutely see us going back for their brunch or for their rush hour special on Thursdays. And the staff were super friendly and attentive. Our waitress, Alysia, was super kind and helpful, and I genuinely hope to have her as our waitress again in the future.

TLDR: I'd go every day if I could afford to. That was probably one of the top 10 meals I've had in my life, and I can't wait to go back.“
