“Went on Monday in the pouring rain after a day of shopping at Wrentham. What a cozy atmosphere, small but so comfortable. Then the waiter came over quickly and was attentive throughout the meal without being intrusive. Our food included Breaded Palomilla Steak, Enchilada de Camarones, and Ropa Vieja. Loved the congris (rice with garlic and black beans) and plantains both salty and sweet. The flan, shared for dessert was the just right ending. I wish we lived closer because we would be there often!“

When I asked the server to take it off my bill, she refused, saying I'd eaten some of it. I was surprised by her response, especially given my background working in a 4-star restaurant, where we'd immediately remove an unsatisfactory dish from the bill. The server's failure to involve the manager and her argumentative tone made me feel uncomfortable. Despite my usual positive experiences here, today's visit was unfortunate. 😞😩“

Ordered the veal special and got the special price $89.00 Swordfish on a bed of spinach for $52 another special price Front desk was very rude which was never like that. No matter who your server is, wait staff is always very friendly, accommodating and professional. Restaurant has a very cozy atmosphere. Would highly recommend The Horse.“

“After months of wanting to go to Chub's, I finally had lunch there today. My only regret is not going sooner.

The staff were very attentive and kind. Even though it's counter service, they checked in with us multiple times to make sure we didn't need anything.

I ordered the brisket dinner with mac & cheese and potato salad, it was phenomenal. The brisket was so tender, it was falling off my fork. It tasted out of this world and is some of the best brisket I've ever had!

I also loved that they have a gift shop corner highlighting different local artisans. It's obvious they take pride in being part of the local community and are raising up others by sharing their success. Being able to shop local and invest into our community is very important to me.

“Brought the family here for the first time this week. Great atmosphere and selections. Flights are a great way of trying new beers without having to commit fully to a tall one. DJ heard it was our daughter's birthday and played a whole Taylor Swift playlist for her which made her so happy. Food is definitely more of the 'snack and relax' type of fare, which is great for the prices. Waitress was very polite and answered my hundred questions about different beers. Will definitely come back again.“

They have a ton of varieties of bagels and cream cheese. The coffee is excellent with many choices of flavors. The selection of dairy and sweeteners was limited however. They should add almond milk for non dairy customers and sweeteners like Splenda and Stevia. Then they would achieve perfection.
