“I had a pleasant experience today at back bay bagel. I was greeted with a smile and the warmest of welcomes. Nyles was clear and helpful in helping me decide what I’d like to have, and I’d say he was right in the mark. It was quick and great quality. I recommend this place for breakfast!!“

“Just finished eating a plain bagel with jalapeño cream cheese here I almost didn't go because I know their bagels are best when they're fresh and it's getting close to two in the afternoon, but there's a spot out front so I figured I'd try anyway, and just my luck they had a fresh batch of plain bagels that just finished cooking. They were just as good as I remember them being in high school and honestly, the shop looks almost exactly; the same staff are friendly as always and I'll definitely be coming back here next time I'm in Needham. “I have been going to Bagels Best since I was a kid with my grandfather every morning after I slept over. They have had the best bagels by a long shot and I have traveled across the state to get their bagels, breakfast bagel, and smoked salmon which is spectacular! Such great food in a great establishment run by amazing people who care about their customers. Highly recommended!!“

“Classic bagel shop that makes delicious NY-style, boiled bagels and home made cream cheese.
It’s quite expensive. Plus, they charge $2 to slice bagels and will only do so if you call ahead to place your order. They don’t have any vegan/tofutti cream cheese for sale. Expect a line out the door if going in the morning.“

“Went for the first time specifically to try the north shore super beef. I grew up on the north shore and am very critical of them so I had to go. Given that I went in suspicious but I was happily to surprised that it does in fact pass for a north shore beef“

“The BYO lox bagel. Btw not an issue at all that the toppings were on the side. It was 10/10 the best I’ve ever had. Came with the right amount of everything so if you wanted more or less, it was up to you. Ofc onion, tomato and capers. Suggest with jalapeño cheddar and scallion CC. Cant wait to show my sister this place. I know she’d love it too.“

“Really cute cafe. There’s not a ton of seating, but tables turned over pretty fast. My turkey BLT was great and I was impressed by how standout the tomato pesto was, it really made the classic sandwich unique. Recommend this place for sure.“
