“We happened to be in Orleans and decided to grab an early dinner at The Barley Neck. We started with a dozen raw oysters and a bottle of French Chardonnay. The oysters were so fresh and delicious we ordered a second dozen. My husband had a lobster pasta dish for his entree and I had a Thai style tuna steak. Both were delicious, but a special thumbs up for the tuna. It was without a doubt the BEST tuna steak I’ve ever had! We finished with the pineapple upside down cake special! O.M.G. Everything was consistently amazing. The service was attentive and welcoming! From beginning to end the experience as a whole was on point! 10 out of 10!“

“Just flew in from Toronto and my first stop on the Cape is always Mahoneys..
My go to dinner is always the clam chowder and a plate of the best tuna sashimi ever!!
The bartenders are wonderful and I can always look forward to a very good “pour!”“

“Wonderful little gem on the Cape! Chef Mike has brought an incredible international menu Orleans, MA. Food is fabulous and interesting and the staff is friendly … and the cocktails are just as good as the food. A must stop if you’re on the Cape!!“

“Visiting the Cape from West Coast and tried Drifters. Simply put, this is a great place. Pre-dinner drinks in bar were top notch. Menu has typical dishes with unique and high end twist. Fresh oysters and short rib pasta were so delicious. Highly recommend.“

“Ashamed to say I finally dined at Viera tonight for the first time. SO glad I did! Perfection on all 3 counts: food, service and ambience! Absolutely everything is made in house and all was divine. Extremely reasonable pricing for exceptional quality. Putting it into our rotation for date night. And did I mention price fixe menu every evening all evening ( except only till 6 on Saturday)?“

“Hidden gem of the resort with incredible food, we enjoyed multiple dishes and were impressed with every one. Especially the lobster corn dogs - w o w. Service was attentive and quick, and the prices are hard to beat. Coming from NYC we were thrilled to find food this good!“

“A great place with great food and friendly service. The lobster bisque is the best I’ve ever had. The grilled lobster and cheese sandwich is to die for. I’ve had grilled swordfish here and always cooked to perfection. For the quality and quantity of food, the prices are really reasonable. I’ll be back!“

“Had an amazing time at this beach bar. If you are looking for a stunning view, ambiance, food & service, then this is the place. Nothing beats drinking a quality cocktail made by the best employees while watching the ocean views! Everyone I encountered was kind, friendly and professional. I'm hoping to recognize a few staff members who went above and beyond to provide an outstanding experience; Mikey, David and Leia (sorry if mispelled) provided the best drinks, even researching what I liked that wasn't on the menu. Had the calamari and that was excellent and came out hot and fresh. The complimentary valet was a major plus! Would highly recommend!!“

“it was our first time eating here. place was busy. we had a party of 5. we were told a 45 min wait and it was only about 15 min. Food was excellent. Great portions, tasted wonderful! Next time we are on the Cape we will be back!“
