“What an awesome experience. On our anniversary, we totally lucked out with a last-minute email offering a reservation. We had no idea that was gonna be the best part of our celebration. Everything was great, from the cocktails to the courses that came with our reservation, and the bartenders were super friendly. Totally worth it! We sat at the bar and had such a lovely time.“

“My boyfriend and I started visiting Salem around 2-3 years ago, when we turned 21 we tried this place out! Every time we visit we usually stay for 3 nights total. We LOVE this place so much that every night after dinner we come here for more drinks!!! I’ll never forget coming here for the 1st time when we were finally 21. Every year when we come to Salem I look forward to coming here so much!! Highly recommend for after dinner drinks to elevate your night!“

“I had lunch there today with a colleague and was blown away by the service and the quality of the food! Everything was delicious. The charred rosemary bread was so good and we loved the short beef gyro and falafel. We finished off with an amazing chocolate tres leches tart that was out of this world. I cannot wait to go back!“

“Here for work, missed lunch traveling, was at the bar/restaurant right at open at 4 for just a quick bite. Ordered the lobster roll (when in Rome, right) and it came loaded with both lobster and a huge side of fries. Wasn’t expecting all of that, left fries even. Lobster could have used a pinch of salt but no complaints really.“

“We had a delightful birthday dinner with family last night. Our server couldn't have been nicer--waiting to time things to our pace of conversation and needs. The food was delicious and full of flavor. Being Wednesday night, the noise level was very low and so enjoyable. Our only complaint was that we ate too much to be able to have dessert--our fault!!“

“Wow, can I say that I just happened to be in Salem and had no plans, so I stepped into a bar I haven’t been to. The Tipsy Cowboy in Salem is definitely one of my favorite bars I’ve been to in the world! I had an amazing person named Misty and she really took care of me to make sure I always had a beverage in hand and felt as if I were home at all times in the night. I will for sure be back just to have that same, unmatched experience again.“

“Had a great meal during Restaurant Week. $25 included app, entree and dessert. Everything was very good. Waitress was very attentive. Wish they didn't have some sort of video game for people to play. Its one large room with a large bar and it's already plenty loud without that. Maybe there were just loud people playing it when we were there but I really feel it distracts from the place overall..“

“This was a catering experience with Blackstrap for a department holiday party. Melissa worked closely with us to ensure that we had the right amount of food and menu for our luncheon. Payment was easy and the pricing very reasonable. The delivery was made by the chef himself and they set up everything with care. The food was fantastic and everyone absolutely raved about the cornbread (that is something that should absolutely be added/included with any order). All around a wonderful experience and a highly recommended caterer.“

“Last night was so great. We enjoyed dinner at MEXA - a neighbor (same town, not next door neighbor) to us in Beverly. The food was incredible (ramen total hit!) - fast, fresh & so flavorful. “500 Ocean is a beautiful property with some amazing amenities. It is in a great location, surrounded by ocean views, restaurants and very accessible to the T, literally right below the building. My husband and I had a great experience living here and had rarely any issues. The main issue we had at move-in was addressed and we were even offered a small gift for the inconvenience. I love the maintenance staff and they are always so pleasant and helpful. One of my favorite parts of living here was having an in-house fitness coach/ personal trainer- Cienna Jade! She is so amazing to work with and has really helped me along my fitness journey. It was so convenient having her come to the 500 Ocean gym, which is one of the best gyms I've seen in an apartment home. She conducts 1 on 1 sessions and will literally work with you on scheduling a time that's convenient for you as well as offering group or couple sessions! Overall, very pleasant experience!“
