“Had breakfast here with my wife. We had Erin as a server. She was extremely friendly. The food came out very fast. There was a mix up with one of the orders, but they addressed and fixed the issue super quickly. The food is incredible. I had the cinnamon apple French toast. I have a big appetite, and I couldn’t finish the meal. Great bang for your buck.“

“We went at a great time, which was around 1030.So the breakfast crowd was gone and the lunch crowd was "not yet"!My cheeseburger was huge and delicious. The fries could have been a bit more crispy though .The staff is super friendly and attentive.Nice clean casual atmosphere.I can't speak to *peak hour* service, as I avoid going to restaurants at those times.“

“Great first time experience! We came from Jersey for my bday weekend and wanted a quick breakfast. I wish I remembered the blonde lady’s name who took care of us but she was amazing. Very attentive even though she was handling other tables and people at the bar. Food was fresh and came out in a timely manner. And the pancakes? Delicious. I’m not easily moved, but the fact that the service AND food were great is what won me! Highly recommend.“

“Jean's Place is a local breakfast/lunch spot that has good food at prices that can't be beat. Seriously, I got 2 eggs, 2 bacon, 2 sausage, 2 French toast, home fries and coffee for under $10. That's a great deal. She's an older woman, but she had counter help on Saturday morning when I was there. It's a little run down/dated, but you know the place has been around a while. No parking lot really, but plenty of street parking. I grabbed some home made cookies 4/1$ on the way out, and left a good tip since she needs to stay open!! Give her your business if you're looking for a cheap no nonsense breakfast with good service.“

“Great food at great prices. This place is homey and friendly. Don't miss the amazing breakfast potatoes!Parking: Parking is not bad for a city spot but there is no dedicated parking lot. It's well worth any extra steps you'll be taking for the delicious food. We usually have no problem finding a spot on Sunday mornings when the parking is free.“

“One of the few old style diners still left. Great food along with great service. A lot of regulars are always in attendance. A place where everybody knows your name. Specials offered every day for Breakfast & Lunch both priced right. Also a Lakefront view as a bonus. 5 Stars for Trolley Stop ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“

“Good find! Decent food and reasonable prices. Went with a friend. Both got burgers, cooked to order and tasty. Server was very friendly, just seemed to take a long time to get our food. Note that it was busy while we were there. Disappointed the onion rings were of the frozen variety and an upcharge of $1.50, but I didn't ask when ordered. Overall a good place to go, for good food. (FT burger in picture - yummy)“

“This location is a treasure trove! My go-to order and fave is the french toast with banana foster. The personnel is quite amiable! It is a great family-run business! You won't be let down if you visit this place, I guarantee it! Do try it out! You'll become a regular, just like the majority of their clients and us!“

“I ordered blt with onion rings. Both were freshly made and delicious! My husband got banana bread French toast which was also homemade. They have Greek items on the menu as well. Reasonable prices and quick service. Right in downtown Paxton. Parking in front, side and back.“
