“Fantastic experience, and good beer! I ended up here on a whim, and initially I wasn't sure about it. I'm typically an IPA drinker, but I like to try different things. There was a lot of different kinds to choose from, but I tried several. Have an open mind, they were good, clean beers. The bartender and owner were there just to chat, we talked about their story, their passion for beer, etc. Delicious beer, great company and atmosphere, and great story. I'll be going there again for sure!“

“The Back Beat Brewery is the absolute best restaurant around in Beverly. They have a variety of delicious sandwiches, fresh brewed coffee, & hand crafted beers & awesome Pizza at good prices too. The have live entertainment some nights, a great friendly wait staff, and nice atmosphere with clean bathrooms. Its also spacious inside with decent tables & chairs too. Game boards at the bar. “Had a private event here and had an amazing experience. The owner was responsive and helped us put on an amazing family event in a really nice space. Also… the beer was outstanding. The flagship IPA was really balanced. I typically pass on IPAs because they’re overly bitter but these beers were really well crafted and flavorful.“

“This is a review that should have been done a couple years back, but I completely forgot, and this place deserves it. I came in from out of state to visit Salem, and stopped in here. The beer was great; but an added bonus was that these guys could not have been nicer to talk to. When I mentioned I brew, and would love to start something up as a new post-retirement career, they were supportive, offered to give any advice they could, and made this such a great visit to a place I didn’t know existed until it turned up on a Google search for “Breweries near me.” I hope to be back in Salem sooner than later, and I will make it a point to stop in and have more beer than I probably should.
