“We stopped in for dinner last time after my sons baseball game. Even though the place was busy, the bartender/waitstaff were awesome and attentive! The food was probably one of the best salads I have ever had. Usually I get the grilled chicken Caesar pocket but I got the grilled chicken Greek salad and it was so fresh and the chicken was cooked perfectly and very flavorful. Everything about our experience was great and we will definitely go back or just order take out because the food is so good and inexpensive compared to other places!“

I was reintroduced to way Pizza should taste.

“I’ve been regularly coming to this restaurant for the last 12 years or so. Brunch (not a buffet) on Sundays with friends is my favorite time. Also evening dinner with friends and my husband is always nice. Food, drinks and dessert are very good. Love the cozy Colonial atmosphere and historic aspect of the building. Staff is pleasant and helpful even when very busy. Sometimes there’s a piano player and also went for a blues night during the week in November. Such a treat!\nMy parents used to come here in the 70s, but the food is better now.“

- Chicken fingers: Leagues ahead of any other pizza place. Beautifully seasoned and juicy. Better than it has any right to be. This is a pizza place right? Highly suggest. Must order.

-Subs: Good. The bread was fluffy with a great crisp to it. A slight increase of meat would push it up a tier. But fresh vegetables fill and overflow.

Clean sitting areas, lots of space, and friendly staff. The owner even greeted us on our way out. This place is heavenly and the pizza is next level. My brother has placed Gianni’s in his top 5 pizza places after one visit. When you know, you know.“

So anyway, wasn't purchasing a car, and back to the "helpful salesperson" comment--the gentleman behind the counter mentioned that they had "fake chicken" and I could get a fake chicken sub if I wanted. Well I never had a chicken sub let alone one made from fake chicken, so I decided to try that. That was not a good idea, that was a GREAT idea! Absolute banger of a sub, and I can't wait until I'm back in town so I can try the pizza next. ...but a car made out of pizza is also not off the table. Because life is short, and it's important to have goals, especially if they involve pizza.“
