We were warmly greeted by a friendly bar keep, seated by a welcoming, accommodating host and our server was knowledgeable, helpful and friendly as well. The food, THE FOOD... AMAZING! Best coconut shrimp EVER! Delicious grilled chicken sandwich with the best sweet potato fries I've ever had. My husband had the Alley Club sandwich with handcut fries and he raved about all of it! “This place was surprisingly amazing. The steak frites was one of my favorites ever, steak was so tender and flavorful and the fries were perfect, along with the sauces. The oysters were so fresh and big and the arugula salad was unreal. Such a good experience! I just wish they had more wine by the glass options. The service was a bit slow but that’s fine.“

On a recommendation, we checked out this place for lunch. Uncrowded on a weekday, we made our way in. Started with some cocktails which were well constructed and delicious. For food, companion and I each ordered the fried chicken. I have to say, the chicken was perfectly fried and still juicy. The breadi g wasn't over salted, which is so common these days. And the twice fried, hand cut fries were spot on too!

“I originally wanted to come to the Front Street Restaurant because of the documentary Bully. Coward. Victim. . I booked reservations about a week or so in advance, and I highly recommend doing so. I had reservations for 5:30 (when they open), but the restaurant filled up quick! The ambience is AMAZING. I felt transported to a speakeasy. I started with the carpaccio, which was to die for. I ended up having the Veal Francese and it was perfect. Our waitress was very kind, and very patient. I highly recommend coming here for a fancy dining experience in Ptown.“

“I was lucky enough to get here the day before they closed up for the season. I ordered the 1/2 lobster roll with a cup of clam chowder. The roll was good and the clam chowder was out of this world. The location is great with window seating right where everyone is walking around and shopping. All of the people working there were incredibly friendly and very helpful.“

The vibe at The Pointe was classy and elegant, yet very comfortable. It was a lovely evening to dine on the terrace with the majestic view of the Pilgrim Monument. A warm ambiance set from softly playing music, twinkling lighting on the terrace and view of the glowing Pilgrim Monument was the perfect backdrop for the outstanding food, wine and service. “The view here is really nice and that’s the main draw. My lobster omelette was fine but the meat tasted like it was precooked. The home fries were undercooked and the service basically disappeared after the food was dropped off. Worth it for the scenery, but the food and service were not there.“
