East Chinatown Restaurant Reviews
Very tasty Chinese food! I love the lobster and the duck!
Had a lovely celebratory meal for my husband’s 60th last night!! They accommodated the 13 of us for a banquet dinner with ease, and the food was amazing.
Just saw some white guy go and call the police because the tables were all reserved but the servers aren’t fluent in English. Thought it was bs until the restaurant was completely full only twenty minutes later. Same white guy also said that he owned four hotels and that he was entitled to a table. Hate racist and people who would rather waste our town resources and make people suffer because of a power trip. Good people who work hard to run a restaurant. East Chinatown Restaurant offers excellent Buddas Delight, beef Chow Foon, beef brisket noodle soup, and Singapore fried rice. This family-run Chinese restaurant provides large servings of authentic food at a great price, with friendly wait staff. While not a fancy spot, it's perfect for those who value great food over atmosphere. Parking can be a challenge, but the lively and communal atmosphere, along with dishes like shrimp fried rice and beef and broccoli, make it worth a visit, especially for dim sum lovers.
The restaurant serves delicious and authentic Cantonese Chinese cuisine, including Chinese BBQ items like crackling pork, roast pork, roast duck, and soy sauce chicken, which can also be ordered for takeout. The service is generally good, but it can get busy if the restaurant is full. The atmosphere is good, but it can also get crowded when the restaurant is busy. It's a great option for lunch when it's less busy, as well as for family dinners.
The prices are fair, ranging from $10-20 for individual dishes, and more for family-style meals. Free street parking is available around the area. The restaurant offers a large menu, and customers have praised the generous serving sizes and the old-school, nostalgic flavors of the dishes.
