“My nonprofit group enjoyed a private party at Tokenfire. The hot appetizers were a great start to the party, with meatballs, pork dumplings, the best brussel sprouts and savory flatbreads. We enjoyed the authentic Shepherds Pie, perfectly grilled salmon, and a vegetarian pasta dish. Dessert, including a fig bread pudding with salted caramel gelato and tiramisu was fabulous. The service was excellent and the ambiance was delightful. I hope to return when they have live music.“

“Love this place, food is superb. I've been making my way through the menu, and I've yet to find anything that hasn't been terrific. Highly recommend the Hot Chicken Sandwich, all the eggrolls, and the HUGE salads.

Bartender is always great, courteous, and makes a great cocktails.

“This was a hidden gem just when and where I needed it! I was trying to find a spot for lunch in the area that had good options, and I took my chance on what became an amazing restaurant experience even though I was by myself sitting at the bar haha. Jenn and the rest of the bar staff made great recommendations, and the food here was sooo good (I ordered the buffalo shrimp and steak frites). I told Jenn that I don’t remember the last time I cleared my plate at a restaurant, and I normally wouldn’t eat that much in one sitting, it was that good. The service was great and their friendliness and conversation was even better, and I look forward to going again next time I’m in Boston! And shoutout to whoever made the 90s/00s Neo-soul/R&B playlist, that was the cherry on top 😁“

The atmosphere was welcoming, the music choices were spot on and I cannot emphasize my appreciation for the staff. Our server Nicholas (also a bartender) made our time at brick and mortar so special and was extremely attentive. In my humble opinion he not only deserves the world but also recognition (don’t know how much he is being paid but double it and everyone should tip him please) for his ability to make the night special and fun. Pros: The service was friendly and attentive. The onion rings were nice and crispy. The cook on our burgers was a perfect medium.
The cons: A little too much grease on the buns. The kitchen missed small things, for example, we had to ask twice for condiments.“
