“Good food, peaceful atmosphere.
As a female, I often stop in alone for a beer, appetizer and keno and feel perfectly safe.
That's not always the case in other place's so, that's why I choose to stop in occasionally.“

“I love going to this place, and we always enjoy the food, service, except today I request a glass of water with lemon, and the waitress brought me a plastic cup with water and lemon, sorry I don'tdrink water in a plastic cup, so nicely I ask her to change it to a glass , and she was polite, no problem, but next to us was sitting two elderly couple that since we walk in they were very upset because we sit in the next table, and as I was asking the young lady for a regular glass ,this older lady was talking trush about me, and the fellow who was sitting next to me though that because we are Spanish,we couldn't speak English, he respond the lady that Ibwas trush, I respect people, we are educated, and I didn't said what they deserve to be told ,because my parents educated me, I was raised here in Massachusetts, and probably have more manners than this old cauple, they show their true color, racist, think they own every space in the earth, shame on them, if they are so afraid of Spanish people they should not go out of their shell, I been living in Massachusetts for 55 yrs. I don't need to feel uncomfortable in any public place because of few pigeons that cannot leave at home their racism, they are ridiculous, we are in 2023 United State is not only for morons like them, the restaurant is nice, and service is great, probably this young girl is new, don't know what happen, she was nice , but like always there are people that shoyld mind there own business.

“There’s no better place to hang out for a drink in our Nation’s Capitol than The Dubliner. Before we get to the food and the atmosphere their Whiskey List deserves a special shout out. Divided up by Irish Whiskey style/category the list is like mini lesson in Irish Whiskey history. And do they have a great selection? YES Blended, Single Malt, Single Grain, and Single Pot Still - they have it all, and in a beautifully bound list. The Guinness is a very good pint here - 4/5 - with some grip of the head to the glass as it slides down the glass. I had Shepherds Pie for dinner and it was nicely charred on top with a well balanced gravy from first bite to last. Get in here! Sláinte“

“You won't find a better pint of Guinness in Boston!! Very friendly staff with impeccable customer service who are clearly proud of what they offer. “First time at Olde Magoun's Saloon. Beyond amazing food and service. Our waiter ( didn't catch him name) tall gentleman with a beard was phenomenal! Friendly and efficient!!! “I wasn't sure what I was getting into but my wife asked if I wanted to go to a drag show. Sure, why not. So she booked some VIP seats with a meal. There was myself, a bartender, and the host were the only men dressed as men. Not sure how to word this to not offend. I was there to learn and experience so forgive me if I use the wrong terms. The show was great. The drinks were great. I pretty much had a private bathroom so restroom trips were quick. The Queens did a great job of not making me feel uncomfortable. The women were CRAZY! Y'all dirty when the men aren't present! It was a great experience. I would do it again.“

Hope she is the regular Sunday bartender because I’ll be back for just her dazzling personality! Great watching the Braintree Little League World Series. “Hogan has made Napper Tandy, Roslindale, a very community friendly place, from his friendly, witty banter to adding atmosphere with special lighting and with flowers adorning the bar.
Morgana, one of the mixologists, is very talented creating interesting and fun cocktails.
I feel like Norm from Cheers when I go to Napper because they remember my special cocktail and don’t even ask what I’m drinking.
