“The "Salty Pig" pizza was quite good - appropriately salty with generous toppings. Cooked well and adequate to share for 2 at lunch. Kale salad was pretty bland, I would not recommend. Overall, a pleasant spot. Very friendly folks!Dietary restrictions: Asked at time of order“
“We were especially please with the halibut last night. While the price point is a bit steep, the fish was fresh and delicious and the accompanying white beans, brown butter sauce and spinach were also delectable. I prefer the mushroom toast with the black garlic aioli and the broccoli rabe was a bit oily for my taste but, all in all, an excellent meal. I definitely miss Chef Andrew & his creativity but I remain pleased with the waitstaff and I adore Claire.“
“Hands down best pizza in Boston, and very reasonably priced for the area. This place is the real deal. They only sell plain square slices though, so if you’re looking for something with a lot of toppings this might not be the place for you.“
“Absolutely astounding pizza! This place is a must-go for anyone visiting Boston. Having lived in Europe for a couple of years, I feel comfortable saying that this was the most authentic Italian-style pizza that I've had in America. They offer a wide variety of pizzas, so no matter what type you're in the mood for, they'll probably have it.“
“Found this place while visiting Boston for the week. My wife and I loved the food so much we went back a second night. Excellent pizza (Provoleta and Forager were our favorites), excellent service, and an easy walk from our hotel. I travel a lot for work, and I have to say, this is my favorite pizza restaurant I have found.“
“After seeing how highly rated this place is I have been wanting to go here for a while. Finally went this past weekend and it lives up to all of the hype. Neapolitan style pizza is my favorite, and this might be the best I've ever had. It was great being able to sit at the counter and watch them make the pizzas as well.“
“If you’ve never been to Ernesto’s on Salem street you’re missing out!!! They have some of the best pizza you’ll ever eat!!! A must try slice is the cheeseburger ? you won’t be disappointed ??Vegetarian options: Vegetarian optionsKid-friendliness: Great for the whole family!“
“Been going here for years since I grew up in Somerville, pretty much have been going ever since y’all opened, and it hits every time. Excellent food, ambience, kitchen team, and nice servers/hosts. Never sat at the bar but I bet it’s great too. I’ve recommended this place to friends new to Somerville and I don’t make food recs lightly!Pictures:OlivesFlatbread (insanely good)Meatballs and aranciniCalamariOctopusMeat lovers spicy pizza“
“I was dejected from having the displeasure of a quite frankly awful experience at a putrid spanish restaurant down the street. I had decided to come here in a pinch to satiate my growing hunger, and it did not disappoint. The waiter was helpful and nice, and the environment was quite lovely. I was seated in a booth with my group, and I ordered the New york Bianca with Italian sausage and hot honey. The pizza was absolutely delicious and I couldn't recommend more. The other pizzas looked great as well.I can not speak on the appetizers as we did not order any. However, they looked good too.5/5“
“This is one of our favorite restaurants! The food and service are fantastic. Dan, John & Tony bring it every time - they are the A-Team! Last night we tried the “Meaty” Mushrooms and it was excellent! Mixed Fat Moon mushrooms, miso-roasted gilfeather turnips, herb-butter pan sauce, parsnip puree, crispy onion. I am a lover of wild mushrooms, and this dish is one of the best I’ve had. I love how they use farm fresh foods and change up their menu accordingly.“
“Jinny’s has been our favorite pizza since they opened. Everything is amazing from the pizzas to the appetizers and the service is 10/10. The pepperoni pizza and caesar salad are a must! The ‘mike’s hot honey’ is great added on to the pizza. Don’t forget to add a buttermilk ranch dippin’ sauce for the crust. We do both dine in and take out. Seating is pretty limited so plan ahead. No reservations. Worth the wait! They move quick too.“
“Great pizza in a modern brick atmosphere with some reasonable pricing. Bonus is they do slices as well as fresh sandwiches and salads. I would rate the large and tasty slices as being above Upper Crust's and their ingredients appear to be top notch. They do a "2 slice free drink" special.Service appears to be friendly with regulars/neighbors and professional/straightforward with all others. Bathroom on site too.Vegetarian options: Veggie sandwich, salad, and pizza options.“
“One of the most authentic Italian restaurants I have EVER been to in the USA. My wife is from italy and she was stunned. The food is superb. Most notably all of the pasta was super fresh and house made with that indescribable springiness of fresh pasta. YUM!We had:- the fried appetizer plate- A meaty pizza- papardelle with meat sauce- pasta with broccoli and sausage- minestrone.- Lemon sorbet- Profiterole- Glass of montepulciano de Abruzzo.Everything was totally delicious. The pizza was spot on.Run, don't walk to one of the most authentic Italian restaurants in America!“
“I recently learned that this place opened in Boston, Ma 7 months ago. When I go to or drive through New York City I always have to stop at a Joe's Pizza... usually the one on Fulton St. I live in Fall River so that's a 3 hour ride. They've got some of the best NY style pizza in my opinion. The toppings are simple yet delicious and the crust is crispy and light and just perfectly cooked. You can order by the slice or order a whole big pie. This new location in Boston definitely did not disappoint, the employees were pleasant, patient and helpful to all of the people walking in, some you could tell it was their first time. The pizza tasted just like the Joe's in NY and it's 2 hours closer. I was told that they are looking to open another location in Ma. I hope they open many more across the state... it would be nice to have a Joe's close to home.“
“This is a foodie lover’s paradise. Beautiful bar, thoughtfully curated cocktails, unique wine list, upbeat and feel good music in the background. This is the kind of spot you could easily spend hours in and not even realize. We started with an eggplant dish that blew us away: crispy, with mint and labneh. For our mains, my fiancé ordered a tarte flambée pizza and I had the chicken kebab, both from the daily specials list. The chicken was succulent and the pizza had just the right balance of ingredients. Enjoy your perch at the bar, take it all in, and let the welcoming staff be your guides. I will be back! One good thing to note: this establishment does not accept AMEX.Parking: The restaurant has validation for the Tufts lot. There is also ample street parking.“
“We had a blast trying candle pin bowling for the first time! Such a cute and friendly establishment. Alexander and Jim were great hosts and very helpful as it was our first time. Our waitress was very kind too. Yummy flatbread pizza and drinks. The bowling is fun, fast paced, and so unique. You learn self scoring and they provide the scoring sheets & pencils. You can get food and drink delivered to your bowling area. I highly encourage reservations but they are also flexible with walk in if you arrive early enough! Would totally go back and definitely recommend for some different and fun.“
“That is our new place we love! It’s good to see caring about their business people. We randomly selected pizzeria on the route to our house, and ooooh boy, ain’t it good? Service is the best! We chose three different kinds, the one we got with a discount. The first time we got something not smothered in marinara only. Meatballs and ravioli are fantastic. We will be regular customers from now on. Love it!Vegetarian options: Few ready vegetarian options in the menuParking: Limited parking lotsKid-friendliness: Very clean and family style restaurant“
“The secret is finally out. Best pizza west of Santarpios. The Greek chicken wrap is criminal and desserts outstanding. The owneris a true gentleman, and the Highlands are nowi the place to go for foodies. Wonderful to see the place thrivingParking: Side streets not metered“
“Can’t go wrong with the food menu, the garlic bread is my favorite thing to get, the team provides quick service and is very welcoming. Chris, John, Jess, and Jo always seem to have a smile on their face and are very friendly. The atmosphere is great, would have no problem spending a couple hours there!“
“This pizza might have ruined me for any other pizza ever again. We had the mushroom and bree pizza and it was to die for. That with a nice bottle of wine, then the ice cream! The ice cream was delicious and so creamy. I had the mint with dark chocolate chips, and it had fresh mint in it. It was great. Service was amazing as well. Highly recommend.“
“I freaken love this place! It’s located in a corner of a Main Street in Saugus so you can’t miss it!! Pizza is always on point, topped with fresh vegetables and the crust is crispy. Tonight, I decided to get the chicken Alfredo with broccoli..oh man! it hit the spot. Tortellini pasta was aldente!! If you are in the area, stop by! They are always busy but food and customer service is always sooo great and most importantly consistent. Prices and portion matches the quality of food .“
“Finally got around to trying their bar pies, considering their high reviews I was a little disappointed. I ordered "well done" which they called "crispy" but the crust wasn't that crispy. That is my only critique, besides that I love how it's a corner shop and they just crank our bar pies, you can tell they are passionate about what they do.Will def give them a try again, I wonder if mine weren't crispy / well done because I was one of the first few pizzas that were made right when they opened.“
“This place is the best authentic Italian restaurant in the area, hands down. You won't find chicken parm on the menu, which is perfect in my opinion. The service is awesome because it's a family business and they all genuinely care. The ambiance reminds me of a typical place you would find in one of the little hill towns in Italy. The chef and owner will accommodate any requests within reason! Love this place!“
“I ordered the Aloha pizza (super crispy bacon and a pineapple slice per pizza slice). I thought the pizza would be a bit spicy because it says "hot honey" but jt wasn't spicy at all. The pizza was very sweet from the honey and pineapple but I like it. The outer crust had the right amount of crisp and not too char.I will come back and order the pepperoni and Supreme when in the area.Ppl were friendly.“
“I ordered three pizzas from here and they were fresh and delicious!!! The crust was thin on the bottom and not too fat around the edge. It also wasn't overly salty. I will definitely go back. The owner was very friendly! It was also an easy place to pick up my order by car.“
“Tiny pizza shop in Cambridge. Cash only but they have an ATM inside. We ordered three slices of the Sicilian and a large half pepperoni and half pineapple pizza. The pizza was great. Love the taste of the bread and also the quality of the pepperoni was great. The Sicilian pizza was good but not as good as the pepperoni/pineapple.We'll be coming back as this was an overall great dinner.Parking: Street parking on multiple street around“
“Life is short..F...it up!! Friends, Flavor, Friendsit was a nice Sunday afternoon. Thought I’d go into Boston and visit this pizza place which is ranked 100 places to eat from Yelp. Nestled in the lower basement area on Newbury Street. You find quaint little pizza spot. They have New York style pizza. They make the sauce and dough fresh every day the dough, sometimes even aged two days. I got the pepperoni and the veggie slice. Although they use the same sauce the way that they managed to cook the pizza two great experiences. The pepperoni Gave you the salty and savory along with the light and crispy thin crust pizza that you would always expect. The veggie gave you a sweet taste. except that you also the sweetness of the vegetable mix with the sauce. Be able to create this is very difficult, or at least I think so. They used to finest ingredients and fresh as well. Kudos to Maggie who is one of the owners and showed great enthusiasm when I asked her simple questions about how she preps her day and makes the pizza for the masses they are walking down Newbury Street. Definitely recommend you to visit this place if you’re in the area.Vegetarian options: Veggie pizza“
“As pizza lovers, we have high expectations. As new residents of Charlestown, we're on a mission to find great pizza here in Boston. Locale delivered the goods. The pizzas (Margherita and Rocco) were superb. Tender, crispy crust with just the right amount of char. Really good tomatoes and quality ingredients. Locale is right up there with our other favorites at the moment (Brewer's Fork and Prairie Fire). Will definitely be visiting again!“
“Delicious food, great service, nice atmosphere. We enjoyed all of our dishes and left satiated and happy with the experience. The renovations (since Loyal 9) are thoughtfully decorated. Not a lot of vegetarian options so would recommend ensuring vegetarians review the menu beforehand.“
“Fantastic food and great service! There were lots of fun pizza flavors and toppings to enjoy that were quite unique. And don't sleep on the starters! I enjoyed the shrimp toast the most, but I really appreciated how tasty the sauces of each dish were. Great vibe for dinners with friends or a date night, and reasonable prices for food of this quality and restaurant of this vibe. Would definitely love to come back!“
“Awesome place for a casual dinner with friends. Great food, incredible service, and the open kitchen is fun to watch—kitchen staff here is insanely talented, and the spectacle of the wood fired oven going is unbeatable. They’ve got a great selection of local beers on draught, and candlepin bowling too!The food isnt cheap which can be a bit offputting for pizza, but the prices reflect the quality and care the staff puts in. Absolutely worth it!Dietary restrictions: Nut free dining! Very accommodating of dietary restrictions“
“We decided to come here for our anniversary! Absolutely a great choice. They have a free valet if you are dining in which is great because parking can be very hard at busy times here.Initially they sat us in the middle of the restaurant but there was lots of noise and my wife was having a headache. The waitress was nice to move us towards the back which was much quieter and we were able to enjoy our dinner and time!I highly recommend??“
“A pizza joint that checks all the boxes: food, service, price, drink variety, and atmosphere. The wings were some of the best found anywhere; petite, par boiled, tender meat, with jerk and Buffalo sauces. A good stop. Nothing fancy, just good quality bites.“
“I am LOVING this place, after having gone twice in two weeks - it was THAT good! The menu appears to be somewhat standard Northern Italian fare, but the thought and preparation given to the food (and drinks) is clearly evident. The Chicken Milanese was perfectly cooked and one of the best I’ve ever eaten outside of Italy. The accompanying arugula salad with cannellini beans was the perfect side.Every meal my friends and I had (i.e. Chicken Milanese, roasted chicken, risotto; small plates of the meatballs, fried seafood, and roasted beets) was delicious, and were not easily pleased. The only suggestion I would make is that the roasted beets dish was a particularly small portion, but I won’t quibble.I would be remiss if I didn’t mention how professional the waitstaff were. The first time we went, our waitress (whose name I can’t recall) was always available when we needed her, and was not intrusive at all. The other waiter, Brendan, was very affable and attentive, but in no way bothersome. This place is a winner! I hope it remains that way.“
“Loved this place! The pizza is incredible! The meatballs were amazballs! Will definitely be going back if I'm on the area!!Kid-friendliness: They have a kids' menu, and it was a bit noisy, so if your child has no sensitivity to noise, then bring them on in! They will love it! You can't go wrong with Italian good and kids! Enjoy a good meal with the family here.“
“Food was absolutely delicious! Paul the owner is hands on with suggestions. If you're looking for authentic Italian cuisine in the North Shore. Paolo's is the real deal. You won't be disappointed, and the portions are generous to say the least.“
“The pasta speaks for itself. It's the first time that I've been to a restaurant. And I feel like Im eating "real" food. Everything cooked fresh to order. Just come and taste the goodness. One of my favorite after class hang outs.“
“I just went for the first time, and it’s now the only place I’ll go around North Station and the Garden. In terms of food, they offer a handful of pastry and panini options. I had the the Pistachio Croissant, and it was absolutely unreal. For drinks, they offer 3-4 coffee bean types of differing tastes and smoothness for all types of coffee beverages. I tried just a plain Naples latte, and there was nothing plain about it.Do yourself a favor, and come here whenever you can.“
“Visited on a busy night during a convention weekend and it was packed and our waitress super busy! She was a delight though there was some confusion on our drink order and it took a long while to arrive (after our apps). Food was all very good, but my beer was in a water glass and not a full 16oz pour which for the price wasn't great. The music was odd, someone kept turning the volume up and down and changing the song shortly after it started.Dietary restrictions: I was recommended here by a friend who is gluten intolerant. I am not and didn't try their gluten free pizza, but he swears by it!“
“One of the best restaurants in the area. Recommend the eggplant calzone or any of the authentic azeri dishes, not all of which are on the menu. Vegetarians will have multiple excellent options, vegans less so. The bread is baked fresh and very high quality, the price is right, and the whole staff is friendly and helpful.“
“I eat gluten-free and I have yet to find a pizza place that makes a true five-star gluten-free pizza until I came here. I’ll never order pizza from anywhere else again. Hands down the most flavorful with a perfect ratio of dough to toppings, and cooked just right. My husband loved the regular/non-GF pizza as well. Such a great deal too! There are far too many places around here charging $25+ for a mediocre GF pizza. Well done, For Pizza.Dietary restrictions: Outstanding gluten-free pizza, best one in the greater Boston are.“
“The food was excellent. It's nice that many items have a choice of spice level as I tend to like things less spicy. I was tempted to order the same things I got for a takeout order because they were great, but I was glad I tried new items. Now I know to try other things when I go back or order online. The seating area was spacious and not jam packed with tables. I don't recall if there were any stairs to get in but the inside was pretty flat and it seemed like a wheelchair would have no problem once it was inside. I spent most of the time looking out the window.Vegetarian options: Menu has many vegan and gluten free options, indicated on the menu as V and or G. All meat listed is vegetarian type.“
“The Restaurant Week Lunch menu was superlative. It was light enough for lunch and flavorful. The shaved Ham Crostino with melon and the Classic Caesar made great appetizers. The Whole Wheat Bucatini was a generous portion and the chicken/peas/ with herb pesto was satisfying. But the dessert, Torta Caprese stole the show. The flourless chocolate cake with hazelnuts was so good.“
“The food here is great! I preferred the whole pizza over the pizza cupcakes, but they are nice if you just want to try a new flavor of pizza. The staff is friendly, and service is quick even though they get pretty busy at times. So far, I haven't had anything I didn't like. The garlic parm chicken fingers or wings are my go to. My favorite pizza is the Beesting! Best tasting pizza I've had, and always cooked nicely.“
“Incredible!!!! Real Brooklyn style pizza!!! I was born in Brooklyn and I live in Somerville and this place makes me so happy!!! Wonderful people making awesome pizza!!! I'm gonna try their whole menu!!! Today I had 2 slices- one chicken barbecue and one plain. Both spectacular!!!! Yum!!!!“
“Perfect spot to avoid ridiculous hotel breakfast prices. Food absolutely smacked. Biscuit breakfast sandwich had me full until like 2pm and the sausage was crazy good. Hangover burger got me right back on my feet after a late night as well. Definitely coming back next time I’m in town.“
“While in Boston for work 2 years ago, we ate at La Famiglia Giorgio’s and we all loved it. We are back again and couldn’t wait to come back. It truly is the best Italian food I have had from any restaurant. The staff is wonderful and such a great atmosphere. We had a team from another organization join us this year and they loved it as much as we did! Thank you La Famiglia Giorgio’s for an incredible meal with friends! We will definitely be back the next time we are in Boston.“
“I am such a picky eater. I have gone to the same place for years and ordered the same exact thing every timeI always refused to try other places, but I decided to be adventurous and try this place. They have the best lemon pepper chicken. Bacon cheeseburgers, steak combo subs. They deserve awards for their food ! Freshly made to your needs and wants. And they are very fast on delivery. I have never waited more then 30 minutes for the whole process of ordering online , and delivered to my door. Today I got my delivery and at the bottom of the brown bag, there were red wrapped Reese cups and Hersey kisses , for tomorrow being valentines day! They are so thoughtful and kind! I will be recommending this place to everyone I can! DO NOT PASS UP THIS GREAT FOOD!!!!“
“Pulled up to Bardo's while visiting the area recently n craving a bar pie because sometimes you want something familiar to hit just a lil different.Im happy to report that I was not disappointed....all ordering is done online which is a lil meh but lets get back to the main event here....This Pizza!! Went w the "Social Climber" which has the famed lombardo's sausage, red onions, n mama lil's pickled spicy pepps...This pie looked almost better than it ate!! And boy did it eat....someone on here mentioned voodoo dust and I am inclined to concur theres some magical mind controlling nano particles spread all throughout this delectable round as one bite instantly transports you onto the back of that doge coin rocket orbiting near Uranus or something. The crust is light and crisp and pillowy w just a bit more thicc to her hips than most other chicks...this is one you take home to mama after treating her to a 3 course meal.Everything on this pie was on point and from the sausage to the peppers to the sauce n cheese. Def one of the better bar pies I've had n hit the spot!“
“I was waiting my bus at Roxbury Crossing and I had a 12 mins waiting time, I ordered 16 pieces Parm Bites which is easy order, bus was almost arriving and she made it my order 10 seconds before bus arrives( because I told her bus is almost here) thank you so much for the team and especially the young lady working hard at night making sure people are having food.. I will come back and tip you for sure next time.. because of you I took the last bus and came back home safe at cold night!! Bless ????“
