“My wife and I went on a wedding trip in wine country California last year and had an amazing BLT sandwich with super fresh local ingredients at a little cafe. After returning home to the Boston area , I started a search for a lunch shop near my office on Portland Street that could replicate that BLT experience for me. Ultimately the Bonne Chance Cafe was it! The folks that own and run this place are quiet, seemingly shy, but sweet and lovely people very dedicated to their craft. I try at least once a week to go back there and get my BLT on toasted wheat bread with sliced grilled chicken added, and I've been doing this long enough now that they know exactly why I'm there. Their food is delectable and tasty! They run a tight ship, high on cleanliness and the freshest ingredients. Definitely a must find!“

“Perfect little sub shop in Backbay. We opted for the Italian Sub to go. The atmosphere was awesome with a lot of locals getting what seemed to be a regular daily lunch meal. The staff and customers seemed to know each other and a sense of community was ever so prevalent. The food itself was outstanding, even after a 5 hour train ride it traveled with us to ur next stop. Highly recommend this place. Truly a diamond in the rough.“

Tried Pokeworks at Quincy Market in Boston and honestly wish I found this place sooner! The market itself was super crowded and a bit overstimulating on a Saturday night, and the location was slightly hard to find because it was packed with people — but that’s definitely more about Quincy Market being busy than the restaurant itself.

I did a collect order and highly recommend doing that because my food was ready straight away with no waiting around. The portions were EXTREMELY generous and definitely good value for money. I got the poke salad bowl with tuna and prawns and added literally every topping possible (which was great because there were so many included at no extra cost). Everything tasted fresh and filling, and I was seriously impressed by how much food I got.

Left feeling very full and very satisfied. Would absolutely go back again!“

“Family had dinner at Stoked in Cohasset last weekend….what a great meal! Pizzas were SO delicious, as were the Greek and Caesar salads. House wines were really good. Children loved their meals too. “The food at the Shy Bird in Fenway was absolutely delicious, especially the Chicken Dunks with the homemade sauce dips they were all so good we couldn't choose a favorite and the butternut soup was absolutely incredible, with its little kick of spice and sunflower seeds! Our server was top-notch,very attentive, friendly and made excellent recommendations. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, perfect for a special occasion. The flavors were perfectly balanced and the presentation was beautiful, and the staff was friendly and went above and beyond to ensure a great dining experience. We are looking forward to our visits this summer during the Red Sox games.“

The staff is always friendly, and Candy is especially amazing. If you are a regular, she will definitely recognize you and greet you with a warm smile while delivering your food.
