“Nice Chinese cuisine in Sharon. More authentic than the typical American Chinese restaurants. Variety of fish and spicy beef and pork dishes. Though for those who don't like real 'Chinese' food you can still get your fried platters, scallion pancakes, fried rice or noodles.“

“The food was very nice, but not quite top-tier. I felt the milkshakes were OK, the scallion pancakes were excellent, the fried rice with tofu was very good. The vegetable ravioli was a miss for me. It was basically like a dumpling, but it didn't quite hit the spot. Service was above and beyond!! Amazing wait-staff.

“Beautiful dining room. I ordered take out this evening using the Toast App. I mistakenly added a $500 tip instead of a $5 tip because the order went through too fast. I called and explained what happened. The manager called me right back and assured me that he would fix it before closing out. He was so kind, even though they were busy. The food was excellent and the waitress was so kind in packing one dish separately due to a peanut allergy. We will definitely be frequent flyers here.“

“I really like this place. Portions are great. The lady in the front counter always has a smile on her face. Even I ordered a special request on the menu, they were able to make it for me. This is my second time here and I really like it. Highly recommended.“

“Food is always really good, and portions are HUGE. The issue I have had twice now is when I order take out, they take forever to reconfirm the order. The first time they reconfirmed the order 20 minutes after I placed it then I had to wait another 15 minutes.

This second time it's now been over 30 minutes since I placed a takeout order and still no confirmation. And I'll probably end up having to call them and wait another 15 minutes.

“This little cafe/restaurant is nestled in an alley next to a general store, it gives speakeasy vibes. The place is small, but clean and welcoming. I want to say it’s family owned, but I am not sure.

Their menu has breakfast/lunch/dinner options, plenty of options for vegetarians as well. We started with some scallion pancakes, they were crisp and delicious.

We ordered their drunken noodles with vegetables and basil fried rice 🍚 with egg and tofu. Their noodles 🍝 were saucy( I like when they are not dry, so I loved it) it also had the perfect level of spices, lots of veggies like broccoli 🥦 🫑 🍄‍🟫 🧅 🥕

The basil fried rice was okay, I have had better basil fried rice for sure. The taste was good, but I had higher expectations.

The Thai cold coffee🧋was the highlight of our meal. It was so perfect, that I would have had another glass. Strong coffee with low sugar, just how I like it.

Our experience was very good, and we look forward to visiting this place again.“

“I love Takara in Medfield. The staff is wonderful. I eat here almost every week. Even during COVID, my family did take out weekly. This is my go-to restaurant. My wife takes me there as a reward!! The food is wonderful and well prepared. I think that I have tried almost everything on the menu over the years. My favorite meal is the spicy tuna avocado salad! The rest of my family enjoys the sushi, sashimi, and various maki rolls which I always help them finish. Korean inspired food is a nice twist on typical sushi. Great place with great service. Great bar and wines too!“

I only gave 2 stars for atmosphere but that's only because it's takeout only. If you're looking for dine in, this isn't the place, but on a nice day you could bring your food to the town common. “I have been wanting some really good Pho since I moved here from NYC (I was quite spoiled there) and finally came across some that was on the same level as the incredible Pho I have had there. “Incredibly friendly and attentive service. The doors (there are two) are super heavy, and I couldn’t open it. Someone jumped right away to help.

I got the Japanese udon noodles and the miso soup. The soup was fishier than I remember miso being but it’s been a long time since I have had. It was hearty and hot and enjoyable.

The udon noodles were well-seasoned. The veggies were delicious. The chicken was a little fattier than I am used to but it was all yummy and the food came promptly after ordering.

My water was refilled as I drank and the check came just as I was finishing my meal, so very attentive but respectful service.

Would recommend.

“I very often eat lunch from here. Their food is top notch. My favorite dish from them is Singapore rice noodles. I had never had it before and it was suggested to me by the young lady at the counter.
Let me tell you. It is the best 13.95 you can ever spend.

If you love curry, noodles and Chinese food. This is it! I promise not only is it DELICIOUS but it will fill you and 2 other people from the one plate you order. It's the most food from a single plate I have seen. It comes filled with flavorful chicken, shrimp and pork. You have to try it. You will not be disappointed.“

“I was not expecting good Chinese food in the burbs of Boston, connected to a hotel. But, I was pleasantly surprised by Bamboo. It’s a beautiful restaurant with comfortable seating. We were there for dinner and it looked like they may have a daily lunch buffet during the week. The restaurant and bathrooms are clean.

Now the food. We had chicken lo mein, which was so delicious. Sometimes this dish is dry on Chinese restaurants, but not here. We also had the garlic duck which was so special. “Nice atmosphere. Large place had the fresh rolls which were delicious and shrimp pad Thai. The pad Thai here was particularly good because it was not swimming in an overly sweet sauce. Which is what you find at most places. It was well flavored and had a hint of stirfry to the noodles. More authentic, than the typical American approach, as I noted. Would definitely come back again.“
