“Great food, portions, prices and service.“

“Last night, we walked towards The Aviary's entrance surrounded by beautiful flowers and lots of hydrangeas. Magical. The restaurant itself did not disappoint as it too was absolutely lovely. The wait staff was superb. Nice and efficient and they got every order perfectly. We were delighted. However, the food left a bad taste for sure. We were served room temperature brussel sprouts that were not cooked! Calamari was overcooked and rubbery. Pasta dish was floating in oil!! Total disappointment. Sadly, this beautiful restaurant has not earned our repeat business.“

“Was working on a roof repair next door and stopped by with my crew for some food. The food was delicious, with fresh ingredients and bold flavors. The service was friendly and attentive and the ambiance was cozy. Great spot for a satisfying meal.“

“Choosing Independence Harbor was a decision that we will never regret. We had our wedding at the end of March 2025 and worked with both Sydney and Jocelyn. Communication with Sydney was constant and she was always available if we had a question. The price for the venue was also so affordable and staff went above and beyond to make sure that we were comfortable and taken care of throughout the ceremony and reception. We would recommend this venue to anyone getting married and were so grateful to have had the pleasure of working with Sydney and Jocelyn.“

The chicken Mozambique omelet was amazing! The bacon was a little to smokey for our liking. Toast was a little burnt. Unfortunately their seating is for a max group of 4 people per table. But, if in the area, would definitely go back!“

“My wife's birthday on January 7th. Awesome place our waitress Lora was the best the bartender was awesome they make ya feel at home can't wait to get back there we will definitely ask for Lora she is so happy and fun to have wait on you she's the best.“

“A little longer than usual wait, despite having reservations but we enjoyed our experience. The food was excellent, brisket is just epic. I tried the apple cider sangria, which was fantastic, paired beautifully with all of the food. I highly recommend it.“

Was great having a normal eating out experience with pulled pork mac n cheese after being diagnosed with celiac disease 3 years ago, and Ness was amazing at making sure the kitchen made everything 100% safe for me!“
