“I came here because I was in the outlet and I have discovered this place and I am glad that I did. First, the food is amazing and hands down the chicken is the best in town. Second, the cashir Malak is an amazing and kind person, her manager is great and kind too. They gave us a new item in the menu to try for free and it was amazing. Finally when we left we thought to order a pickup order to eat at home next day and when I came to pick up I found out that I had chosen the wrong branch by mistake. The cashier Malak and her manager solved the issue even when it was my mistake. I would come here again and again and would recommend everyone to try their delicious food.“

“I am a self-proclaimed pizza snob and generally only enjoy NY-style pizza, but Royal Pizza & Subs makes an excellent pizza that rivals what I grew up eating. The sauce was perfectly seasoned, the sauce-to-cheese ratio was ideal, and the pepperoni was high quality. The medium-thickness crust was slightly different from NY-style pizza, but so delicious that I didn’t mind one bit! (It was a bit softer and chewier than what I’m used to, and I didn’t notice any semolina flour on the bottom.) My spouse doesn’t usually eat the crust, but we both finished every last bit of our slices! The pizza was a little greasy because of the generous portion of pepperoni, but who would complain about that?! Nothing a few napkins can’t fix!

The staff were super friendly and the service was great: our pizza was ready so quickly! The prices were also extremely reasonable for the amount and quality of food. I am so happy that this restaurant is so close to home: it’s going to become a regular place for us to eat at! We only tried the pepperoni pizza last night, but I can’t wait to try the rest of the menu. If you’re in Somerville, don’t miss the chance to eat here!“

“I was just in the mood for some Brazilian type pastries for lunch, and looked it up on Yelp! My daughter and I drove from Woburn to Somerville and ordered an assortment of goods... You know when you experience something that takes you back to your childhood?? This was it for me...the ambience, the friendliness, and the flavors. “Great spot for delicious vegetarian food as well as fantastic smoothies. One of my favorite meals are the rainbow harvest and teriyaki tofu bowls. The rainbow harvest is a party for your mouth and I’m personally a big fan of sweet potato so highly recommend that one. The teriyaki tofu bowls is best ordered in when it’s hot and steaming. The tofu provided is crispy and complimented well by the umame of the mushrooms as well as the saltiness from the soy sauce. I also decided to try out the strawberry and cream chia bowls which satiated my sweet tooth. I love the variety of texture the chia seed provides when mixed with the oats as well as the sweetness provided by the coconut yogurt and strawberries.
One thing I really appreciate about life alive is their nutritional content is listed so if you are looking to track your macros for weight gain, loss or just general health it’s great. While the menu doesn’t have as much protein as restaurants that have meat in them, they are quite satiating as a lot of items are filled with fiber and a decent amount of protein. You surely won’t leave feeling hungry.
The reason I listed the atmosphere as four stars is being a fantastic place attracts a lot of customers and it can be a bit difficult to find seating indoor at times especially seating near a charger incase you are looking to get work done.“

Everybody greets me with a smile and make me feel welcome regardless of how busy they are. They are so kind and helpful, always eager to serve. “Love this place. Lived in Winter Hill for a year and there were times where I was coming here multiple times a week. Would definitely take breaks but when I would come back all the staff was always super welcoming and kind. I have too many good things to say but I'll keep it short: as someone from NY, this was a great find to have close to my apartment, some of the best pizza I've had in Boston. On top of this, the staff being kind makes the food taste even better. One time we went for pickup and they had forgotten one of the pies on our order (could have just been bad service calling or loud in the kitchen), but they gave us free slices even after we were trying to say we didn't want them. Can't say enough good things about this place. Thanks for feeding me all of last year!“
