“Visiting Boston, I stopped here because I wanted to come back and have lunch in Chinatown. The place was empty besides another couple of friends that were sitting parallel to me. The service was excellent, and the food was excellent. I had some shrimp tempura and a ribeye soup bowl. I recommend visiting for a quick solo or friends lunch.“

“We had a wonderful dinner a Mai during their soft opening. The foods good. The service amazing and overall a great night out. We tried a variety of hand rolls and some apps. The fish is definitely high quality in the hand rolls. Our favorites are the Akami, toro, Salmon, spicy tuna and the Duck Foie Gras“

“I literally think this is the best sushi in Boston. Better than all the top fancy places. Take out is great but sitting there is always so pleasant as well, great service and they always get you in even when they are busy. The sushi is top notch quality!“

“We went for dinner at 10 pm after an 8 pm witch tour!! Was outstanding !! Food was delicious, our waitress Andrea was so kind and hospitable, she didn’t rush us and was very attentive ! Honestly the best hibachi I’ve had! DELICIOUS“

“Deluxe Sashimi Platter ⭐️ It was great! It's really fresh and there are a lot of varieties, except for the sea urchin, which is a bit fishy Octopus Carpaccio ⭐️ The seasoning is very refreshing and the octopus is very chewy, I love it Torched Japanese Scallop ⭐️ It was very light, I couldn't really taste the seasoning, but it was very tender Unagi Don ⭐️ A friend ordered this. Gyu Don + Onsen Egg ⭐️ The beef is very juicy and the onsen egg is very flavorful“

“The udon is super thick and chewy, it’s so good, the spicy topping is not that spicy, more for flavor which I love. I didn’t like the hot and non-spicy version that much, the “cold” spicy udon is much better, same price, and more worth it!“

“Good food, friendly staff, fair price. Not something I got from any other food place at Fanueil Hall.
We got the chicken teriyaki, with vegetables, and noodles.
Chicken and noodles were awesome! Some of the vegetables were on the cold side, which is my only complaint.
Employees were very friendly and you tell they cared about their customers.
Definitely will get food from there again on our next visit.“

“I really like this place. Good service and fast. The food is always fresh. I do the hibachi and get either filet mignon, New York Strip, or teriyaki chicken. The fried rice is awesome and I've never been disappointed with anything I order. Portions are good I'm always stuffed walking out. Also, their fried ice cream is bomb.“

“Amazing food and atmosphere. Highly recommend the firecracker roll or the Incredible Hulk roll… and finish off with some tempura fried Oreos (enough to share!) Ask for Dominic… outstanding service, attentive, great suggestions and awesome vibes all around.“

“My husband and I love J&J! We’ve been going faithfully since they opened. They have the best owners, staff, and Chinese/Asian fusion food in the area. Their sushi and drinks are top notch. Most importantly the service is amazing. We got a few trays of food from them too for New Year’s Eve. Not sure if they offer catering all the time but would def suggest not only dining in the restaurant but ordering takeout/catering as well!“

“Ive been looking for decent teriyaki bowl places around Boston. Many places have sushi in addition to teriyaki bowls. This place just does teriyaki bowls at a decent price and pretty tasty. They have a limited menu, so you cannot get lost in the items. Had a beef and shrimp teriyaki bowl with some rice and was good. For the quality, price, and taste, I give it a 5/5. Highly recommend.“
