“I had lunch with friends here yesterday and everything was great but I have to mention that our server, Russell, was hands done, one of the best servers I have ever had. He gave us plenty of time to catch up with each other with cocktails (about an hour!), He paid for a round of drinks because we wanted to order from the brunch menu but missed it because we talked for so long. He said it was his fault for not reminding us! Unheard of! He let us have a leisurely 3 hour lunch, with no pressure at all, and was very attentive when we needed him. He even sent over a delicious birthday dessert without even being asked! Russell is The Best!!“

“Asia Mei is easily one of the best Chefs in Boston. I've eaten here several times, but I can't believe that I haven't written a review before now! My husband and I had brunch at moonshine 152 last weekend and told friends about it. Next thing you know, the four of us were in there around noon time today having brunch again. We shared three starters, alongside sharing all four entrées and everything, I mean everything was to die for! Ms Asia herself delivered some of our plates and she is just as delightful as she is talented. Needless to say, dinner is amazing here as well. The vibe in the restaurant is so easy and you can tell that the staff get along very well together. What I can't believe is how this place wasn't fully packed today or last weekend even. Definitely a good amount of patrons, but I've had brunch at places that are hard to get into and left much less satisfied.“

“Interesting arrangement of lively front-of-house bar and quiet white-tablecloth dining room a bit further in. Each has its own menu although some items show up on both. We were seated in the peaceful dining room, a romantic room decorated with vintage French posters and fresh flowers on the tables. My husband and I chose the crispy potato pave' with truffle from the sides list to share as an appetizer; it was delicious. I had the Scottish salmon with flageolet beans and Brussels sprouts, which were all excellent. My husband had the roast duck breast and loved it. Our server was attentive but not intrusive. Overall it was a lovely experience, with delicious food, close to South Station.“

“Fabulous evening. I made my reservation a month ago and was surprised when we were seated in a faraway corner on the lower level. We asked to move upstairs and the host gladly accommodated us. Our server was attentive and friendly and made great recommendations. Calamari was a little salty, but everything else was perfect! This is always my favorite pre-ballet spot. A nice espresso martini is just right to stay awake for the rest of the evening!“

The crispy chicken sandwich, the Chicken Madeira, the sticky toffee bread pudding and the mile high mocha pie are all incredible, and nothing like anything you'd have had before! Definitely worth a visit!“

“This place is one of the best places I’ve been to in a hot minute! The bottomless brunch and $4 mimosas had my best friend and I making immediate reservations! The staff and management are so sweet and truly care about the service they provide. This really is the place to go and if you haven’t yet you better get on it babe! Will be here once a month at least! Seriously obsessed! 🤍“

“A lively, huge restaurant and bar, with a wide variety of menu items to really appeal to / accommodate everyone's tastes and dietary needs.
The staff is quite friendly and professional. They have a great musical playlist with the accompanying videos on TV screens. They also have sports on other screens and a huge bar in the middle of it all.
There is also a sizable, covered outdoor space.
My mother and I go specifically for their Chicken Nachos - they're SO good!
There was a large group of seniors there for a special outing. The food they ordered looked so good and they told me that it was delicious and they had so much fun. It's a great idea to take people here for almost any special occasion, in my opinion.
I highly recommend the Yard House for a fun casual and delicious dining experience.“

“An otherwise unassuming hotel lobby bar, Kestra offers live jazz several nights a week. We live in the neighborhood and were passing through the lobby as a shortcut on a rainy night, and noticed the music emanating from the lounge so made a plan to return to try their menu and musical offering. Kestra's menu is limited but not unusually so for a lobby bar. We had their charcuterie board, the delicious chili cheese biscuits, and a prosciutto flatbread, all of which were satisfying. Where Kestra exceeded expectations that evening was in the music. A trio of local musicians included bassist Jon Burr, guitarist Sal DiFusco, and violinist Mark Russell. All were exemplary, in particular Russell, whose career has been inspired by Stephane Grappelli, one of my long-time favorites. What a treat, to happen upon such high-caliber talents in a hotel lobby bar (and with no cover charge)! Besides wishing for a few more choices on the menu, we'd have loved to get a table closer to the musicians. For whatever reason, tables for diners are amassed around a fireplace and far removed from the entertainment, as if to relegate the music to the background. All that said, we'll be keeping Kestra on our radar as an easy-going option for casual bar snacks and top-flight local jazz.“

“Found this place on a random search and it was above and beyond our expectations. Our server, Makaylee, made amazing recommendations and was extremely attentive. “Not sure what the experience the other reviewers here had but we had an unbelievably amazing experience! The views were out of this world- nowhere else in Beverly can say the same. Our server Carolyn was absolutely amazing- she was so diligent with the allergies at our table and took the time to recommend things that would fit all of our needs. We will definitely be back and would always request her. Food was amazing, huge portions, flavorful, and came out so quickly! A must in the area! The only down-side was parking, but we figured it out!“

“I have been a Seaport resident since 2018 and I have never received the level of customer service, attention to detail and overall care that I received from Scott at DIG. My food was promptly provided and the level of taste and satisfaction is unmatched. No other Heathy restaurants in the Seaport area can hold a match to DOG food and service. I am not impressed easily as I have never ever written a Seaport review but I would being doing DIG an injustice by NOT giving credit where credit is due. DIG employee Scott is a great assets to DIG for it is his professionalism that will bring me back with friends! Thank you for a great Wednesday lunch...see you soon.“

“After 3 days of lackluster customer service at car rentals, hotels and restaurants (the kind where you have to track down silverware and plates to consume the food that has been placed in front of you) our experience here deserved a fabulous review. From the time we were greeted, to being seated and on our way out the door late on a Monday night, the experience was marvelous! Our server, Nate made great recommendations and was enthusiastic about our order, unobtrusively kept the water glasses filled and had the delicate balance of checking on us mastered. The unexpected star of our meal was the roasted beet and faro salad, although the pretzel and poutine were not far behind. The food was so good we even forgot about the beautiful cocktails we were having. Although we arrived an hour before closing, we were never rushed. Two weary travelers were cared for, served fabulous cocktails and delicious food in a timely manner so that we could return to our room to get ready for a morning flight. Highly recommend this establishment.“

“The food was beyond delicious—authentic, flavorful, and clearly made with love. Every dish tasted fresh and well-seasoned, and the portions were generous. I highly recommend trying their pupusas, carne asada, and tamales—everything we ordered was a hit!
The customer service was just as impressive. The staff was incredibly welcoming, attentive, and friendly. They made sure we felt at home from the moment we walked in. You can tell they care about their customers and take pride in what they do.
If you’re looking for great Central American food in Lynn with top-notch hospitality, El Gran Jaguar is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be coming back!“

“Perched with killer views, this spot dishes out some seriously tasty grub. The clam chowder was a creamy dream, and the fish and chips? Crispy perfection. Portions are massive—come hungry! The kids’ menu is a beast, packed with options for picky eaters.
But, it’s not all smooth sailing. Dropped my rating from 5 to 4 stars because they tried to sneak in charges for kids’ menu sides that are supposed to be included. They claimed they’d fix it, but one charge still slipped through. Also, my beer arrived with some mystery substance smeared on the rim of the glass—yuck. They swapped it out quick, but still. Solid spot, just check your bill and your glass!“

“We tried breakfast and lunch at this conveniently located hotel restaurant. They offer a buffet option, but we opted for regular entrees. One day, we had eggs benedict, and the next day, we had eggs and hash. The juice was pricey at $6, but tea was free—just hot water with the tea bags on the table. Coffee was $5. The service was good, but paying the check took a while. You have to give it back to your waiter, not just head to the front to pay. The restaurant is spacious and bright. Sharon provided good service and is also able to speak Chinese.“

“In a town of witch kitsch, Trade House is a breath of fresh air. The decor doesn't scream as much maritime and mercantile history as I hoped but the atmosphere and the menu certainly make up for it. Highly recommend the Jumbo Crab Cake as a starter. This is a golden seared, griddled crab cake bursting with sweet, succulent crab meat and fresh vegetables. Served with a zesty New Orleans remoulade that packs a Southern kick and a petite salad for a crisp, refreshing balance. And their chef's *really shine with their specials. That's where I recommend the Surf and Turf Dog. And this isn’t your average frank. It’s a jumbo all beef masterpiece stacked with crispy, golden fried Essex clams, drizzled in house made tartar and a splash of tangy cocktail sauce, all nestled in a warm, buttery brioche bun. Served with kettle chips and crunchy pickles for the perfect crunch. It’s land and sea, comfort and adventure all in one unforgettable bite. There is literally nothing in Salem like this. And lastly, their drinks....oh my gods, their drinks. I had the "Trade Secret". Bold, smooth whiskey takes the lead in this mysterious and refined cocktail, delivering rich warmth with every sip. It’s expertly layered with the bittersweet depth of amaro, brightened by fresh orange, cherry, and a twist of lime. The result? A bold yet balanced drink with a touch of intrigue. It's strong, citrusy, and just sweet enough to keep you coming back for the next secret. Tourists and locals, check this new place out. Such a breath of fresh air and down the street from Derby Wharf.“

“My wife and I have not had much luck with dining out lately so when it came to picking a restaurant for our anniversary dinner I was nervous that I would find the right place. I came across Nine Elm and read the reviews. They were amazing. So we made a reservation but I was still cautiously optimistic. Things could not have gone better! We arrived and where we were seated was noising, not what we wanted for an anniversary dinner. When I asked the waitress if there was a quieter spot she went to speak to the manager in we were moved immediately. The general atmosphere of the restaurant is nice and the staff is very friendly but professional. The wine was lovely and the food delicious. We ordered the duck and the swordfish special and they were both cooked to perfection. For dessert we split a Creme Brule. The custard was light and creamy a pleasant surprise. We had an amazing time. We will be back!“

“What a great night! We thought we were going to a fundraiser, but after checking the ticket it’s next month🤦🏼♀️ So since we were ready for a night out we ventured to Swampscott to check out G Bar! Reservations highly encouraged, but our timing worked out perfectly and we got two seats at the bar! Had a delicious meal starting with crispy shrimp with sriracha, lemon garlic aioli, cilantro then we shared a Caesar salad, lightly dressed and not too garlicky and had Wasabi tuna and NY Strip steak for our entrees! Yummo!! Patrons were so nice, as was all the staff! Andrew was a great bartender and seemed to know everyone there! Great vibe, great food! We’ll definitely be back! — eating dinner with my love with Joe Florentino at G Bar and Kitchen.“
