“This place is an unexpected gem! The steak tips were excellent quality and perfectly seasoned. The meatballs lived up to the positive reviews, and the pizza was memorable and awesome. I'm an Italian-American 100%....usually very critical of Italian food....Osteria Peppino gets 2 thumbs WAY up from this local Italian girl! This place is a throw back to old school, traditional, home cooked, FRESH food.“

“It was a brisk Saturday night and I took the lady out for a dish of pasta. I put on my finest linens and prepared to embark on date night. We arrived at Daniella's. We started with the muscles ??, then I enjoyed the Sunday sauce while the Mrs treated herself to the chix, broccoli and ziti..oh yea and you can't forget the mushroom risotto..mangia!! Dinner was delightful from start the finish.“

“We went to Petrillo’s tonight to celebrate my husbands birthday and the dinner was absolutely fabulous! The food is always delightful we got the Fried Ravioli to start which was amazing, delicious and the sauce is so good! For dinner I had the pollo parmigiana and my husband had the steak tips, both were amazing! And to top it off our waitress Eileen was so sweet and provided outstanding service! It really feels like family! Love the environment!“

“My wife and I went here last Friday night with friends and we all Loved it!! We thought we would have trouble getting a table but that wasn't the case, surprisingly. Because the service and food were both excellent. Our server was great. He made our drinks as well and my wife said her lemon drop martinis x3, were to die for. He brought fresh warm rolls to the table, and we got the octopus and bruschetta appetizers that were very good along with a side Caesar salad for the table. Then ALL our entrées were DELICIOUS! My wife and I both got the chicken parm and she couldn't even come close to finishing hers. The cutlet is nice and thin, and more than half the plate. The red sauce has good flavor w penne pasta. The portions were worth the money. Our friends got the seafood medley, and a marsala dish that were also both very good. The only draw back is the atmosphere and location aren't the best. I really hope this place stays open or finds a little nicer location, because the food and service are Top Notch and well worth it. Give them a try, you won't regret it!! We'll be back soon.“

“We just tried something different from our favorite Pizza & Sub shop. I usually get a pizza or steak and cheese, this time I got the steak bomb. OMG it was so delicious it was ridiculous. Hot, and bursting with flavor! My Wife got the Greek chicken wrap and it was equally delicious. According to Yelp this Restaurant gets only 3 stars. I have no idea why.“

“I have been meaning to write a review for a while- if you haven't been to 5 Sons and/or haven't used them for catering before - DO IT!! I have gotten catering a few times from Jen and she is not only such a great person she is an even better cook. They are accommodating to what you need, offer suggestions you may not consider, reasonable pricing and delivered with a huge smile. Their pizza is the best in town by far but their Italian dishes are home cooked amazing! They have a grab and go section with meatballs/sauce, eggplant parm, stuffed shells, pasta primavera- one is enough for me, my two teenagers and some left over! “Absolutely wonderful. I've ordered food from here quite a few times and the family's always enjoyed their pizza and fries. We we coming back from an event and needed food quick- we'd usually go to Brothers for something like that since their stuffs ready and it's better than typical fast food, but they were closing in minutes so we decided to dine in Gallo for our first time. We got seated immediately, they gave us a free little appetizer before giving us some nice bread & oil. Our four dishes came out very quickly and were all delicious. No kids menu but absolutely didn't matter, both kids found different meals they wanted and got good leftovers. Place was clean as a whistle and server was so kind to us. Absolutely will go back more frequently.“

“My mom and I are visiting Marblehead and didn't expect to visit pizza heaven while here! We ordered the Insalata salad (subbed the Parmesan cream dressing) and the Fonduta pizza. WOW! We were blown away. The crust was delicious - crispy on the outside and chewy inside. The toppings were a perfect combo - super savory and aromatic with the truffle oil. We will absolutely be back when we visit next year!“

There was only one other family in there and it was blissfully quiet. Service was speedy and friendly. The 3 of us got away with an $80 tab. It was a relaxing meal. Chicken Marsala for me. “I was so impressed with my lunch yesterday! I tried Chicken Zitti Broccoli Alfredo pasta dinner and my husband got the Red Passion Salad. We both finished our whole plates and we were so surprised with the short amount of time it took to receive it. The staff was helpful,kind and always with a smile in their faces. “The price/quality ratio is great, very friendly but professional staff. Quality live bands Friday and Saturday nights, $10 cover charge. Lisa Love Experience, the WildFire Band, The Far are some of the bands I have seen there, and they have a good size dance floor too. The kitchen closes and live music starts at 9pm. I definitely suggest making a reservation and being there early enough if you plan to eat or you don't want to stand up all night. Lounge is the perfect place to hang out with friends on a weekend night, or you can have a family dinner in the dining room but not a place for a romantic first date.“

“BOSA has an awesome Boston vibe, great atmosphere and excellent service. Some of my favorite items are the Spicy Sofia drink, the Shrimp Agnolotti, the Crab Croquette and the Cod Loin. “Good Italian food here. But...In every restaurant I have ever eaten in, and I have eaten in many. When a plate is placed with a human hair on it in front of the customer and that customer has to wait while the food is replated and others in the party start eating. It is customarily expected for the restaurant to deduct from the bill as an apology. Not here. This surprised me and premotes my reluctance on returning.“

“We hit all the recommended places our first couple days in marblehead, we continued to search for additional experiences to try. Our last afternoon we found this little place within walking distance (as most places are in marblehead) and reviews seemed good. Luckily they weren't busy so we didn't need a reservation at that time. After entering we were happily surprised by the decor and menu options, yet somehow we were even more surprised by our appetizers and then our entrées. After being told at another place our first night in marblehead that no restaurants served bread pudding, we ordered two when our server told us they had it (and they fresh and delicious). Had we been in town any longer we definitely would have returned to try some other options. We plan to be back in the area in the spring and we'll be making sure we have reservations.“

As far as attentiveness, at least four servers were constantly checking on us to make sure all was well and that we had everything needed; additionally, great recommendations were made. WOWThe garlic bread was out of this world!I personally only drink one type of alcohol and I always order a tequila sunrise and this is by far the best tequila sunrise I've ever had. I got lobster ravioli it had a lemon sauce on it and holy hera ! So fresh and delicious. Hubby got the duck. Crisp moist and absolutely superb.Restaurant is small but the food made up for it. “We tried this Edifer Pizza last night. We ordered two small pizzas and a chicken burrito - takeout. We were happy with our order. The burrito was solid, and I liked the hot sauce / salsa that came on the side. The pizza had a crisp crust and was very cheesy. Online ordering with Toast was super easy, as I use that for other local restaurants and already had an account. The staff was friendly. We will go again.“

“Thanks so much for an excellent dinner! The pork with gorgonzola cream sauce was recommended by Madison and I'm so happy I followed her suggestion! Perfectly cooked pork with a rich but not to "blue" cream sauce. Plenty of food for dinner plus the leftovers which will be lunch this weekend! My vegetarian wife ordered the leek and mushroom ravioli and she was in heaven too. Lastly if you are a fan of German Hefeweisen beer, grab the Tucher, prob the best authentic Hefe I've ever had!“

“Celebrated a 90th birthday party during off-hours on a Saturday. The folks were awesome to deal with, gave us free rein on the restaurant, served pizza as appetizers and the hot and cold buffet. It has this paramesan taste and the sauce is so yummy. My only recommendation is getting a slice and not a whole pizza as it the taste is different between them. There are additioanl costs associated with a private event and those were all provided to us beforehand. Not their fault, we are all human) that we rolled in essentially right before they were about to close, but they jumped right into serving us. We got linguine and clams, and the bolognese. Food was so good! I offered to settle the check right when food got to the table so they could close us out and move on with their night but they weren't having it. You might think subs, but I've done nothing but work my way through all the great "Spanish" items: tacos, burritos, pupusas, empanadas and chicharron, which is like a super-charged bacon. :) Love their tacos al pastor as well! Also "Salvadoran enchiladas", which might be thought of as deluxe tostadas. Small set of tables to dine there if you want, but I've only gotten mine to go.“

“Our neighbor recommended we try Marblehead House of Pizza and suggested we get small pizza's because they're "more crispy." We didn't know what to expect and I'm so excited we ordered. We got 2 small pizza's : pepperoni on one and Buffalo chicken on the other. I'd compare it to a very thin deep dish pizza because you can tell it was cooked in a pan, and brings all the crispy edges and bits you could ever want. “We have heard sooo many good things about Frankie Slice and finally gave it a try tonight. I have to say - it exceeded expectations! The service was super fast and friendly - our pizza was ready within 10 minutes which is insanely fast for a Saturday night. After trying many pizza places around the North Shore, my husband and I both agree this is our favorite yet (by a LOT). It was cooked to perfection and we nearly polished off the whole thing ourselves (we got the jumbo pizza size which had nice big slices!). We can't wait to come back again soon!“

I can’t remember her name but she was wearing a bruins hat. She was great! She knew it was our second time there and she asked if we have tried the meatballs yet and we haven’t.
