“I moved to Upton recently and decided to try the Italian food here. OMG is what I have to say. From fresh selection of items to the most tasty salad I've eaten to the crunchiest and most delicious pizza ? I've eaten with the advantage of creating my own flavor, as I am vegetarian. I also tried the Alfredo spaghetti, and despite I prefer the larger version of spaghetti it was still perfect in flavor, temperature, and overall look. It was ready for takeout promptly at the scheduled time. The cook is very dedicated and kind. Cozy little space for a meal, but I prefer to eat at home.

Vegetarian options: You can pick the ingredients and create your own plates. Many veggies available.

Dietary restrictions: They accommodate easily dietary restrictions

Parking: It all depends if it's crowded when you get there. There's space to park on the street but no dedicated parking lot.

Kid-friendliness: Completely friendly to kids and families.

Wheelchair accessibility: The entrance is not wheelchair accessible and it's somewhat difficult if you are in a wheelchair to enter and exit.“

“Just wanted to come on and give a kudos to Upton House of Pizza after our experience last night. We were heading home exhausted from the waterpark and ordered a pickup order, which included a small GF pizza for my daughter. We picked it up, headed home and as we were pulling into the driveway my phone rang. The young kid at the counter called and frantically asked if we had eaten any of the pizza. I assured him we hadn’t yet and he said that he had separated it so well from the counter that another staff had put a regular pizza in the box he had pre-labeled thinking it was it (apparently, it was actually the free regular small pizza we got free with our order - that we didn’t know we were getting). He asked for our address and was at our door within 7 minutes. He even asked to see the other pizza to double check. I tried to tip him and he refused, saying “it’s not like we just forgot pepperoni or something, this was serious!” Thankfully my daughter is just intolerant and not celiac, but I appreciate this to no end 🥰 People make mistakes, it’s how they rectify them that shows their character! We will definitely continue to give them our business!“

“The vegan food in this establishment is absolutely divine. I would be hard pressed to find any pizza place that does buffalo calzones or BBQ chicken pizza veganized better than MPP. It is a very kind place with even kinder staff. The place is literally one of my favorite places in all of my life. I would do unspeakable things for their pizza and calzones. “I was at the Papa Gino’s in Milford tonight, and while my order did take longer than expected, the experience itself was truly positive. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with kindness and appreciation, and the staff was continuously apologetic and communicative throughout the wait.

It was an extremely busy night—packed with DoorDash orders and customers, including some who were unfortunately very disrespectful for no reason. Despite that, the staff handled everything with professionalism, patience, and grace.

Every single person working tonight deserves recognition. They were clearly working incredibly hard under stressful conditions, and it did not go unnoticed. Huge kudos to this team!!!“

“I just wanted to give a huge shoutout to a place we all know and love… Dean Park Pizza!! 🍕 I had ordered pizza from another shop in town for my son’s birthday party at school today because they had the option for delivery. When they driver hadn’t shown up 45 mins after the expected delivery time and the owner of the first pizza shop telling me “it’s not his problem” and hanging up the phone on me.. I called Dean Park in a panic because at this point I had a class of 20 hangry preschoolers that needed to eat and get to sleep. They not only made my 5 pizzas in 15 mins but gave my son a free bag of chips for his birthday!! The pizza was delicious as always but nothing compares to their customer service!! I ordered a chicken salad my husband ordered a cheeseburger sub waited 20 mins still no food but the other 3 customers got their food one had a pizza one had chicken finger dinner and one had a steak and cheese. “The food was amazing and my husband and I cannot wait to go back. We both had the beef tenderloin which was cooked to prefection with delicious sides to accompany the meal. The bread was mouthwatering and I could not resist a few pieces! We had the arancini to start and next time, I will order my own plate; I wanted more - no sharing again! I had the amazing carrot cake and my husband had the Godive chocolate cheesecake. I am not a cheesecake lover but ended up determined to order it next time; it was amazing and decadent beyond my expectation. “I love the food but I will be picking it up from now on. I've had bad experiences with their delivery driver. He barely speaks English and is rude. He never has change so it's either he gets no tip or gets whatever the change is from the order. Plus he refuses to deliver to the door and I have to meet him outside when I've shown him how to get into the building. The food is always good and the only negative I have is their driver.“

There’s a new snack item on the menu, a cheese pie. Literally so good, if you like ricotta I highly recommend trying it!

If you have children going to Ashland Public Schools (and beyond!), the new owner has also dedicated half of his restaurant to provide a teen space for after school and on the weekends! There’s a prohibition-style mocktail bar, a large projection screen for kids to play the Nintendo switch or watch movies, and lots and lots of games! I highly recommend making Nick’s your next family fun spot!“

When we found out it was from Nick’s and right here in our neighborhood, we had to try it ourselves. Since then, my family and I have become regulars, enjoying not only the pizza but also the BBQ wings, drinks, and more. “i took my 11m old here for the first time today, it was my favorite pizza place growing up and it’s still amazing after all these years. i was so pleased to find out they still sold the house dressing in a container so obviously i bought some. the pizza was phenomenal and my salad was perfect, the veggies were perfect and fresh, no imperfections on the lettuce, all in all i was more than pleased coming back for my first time in years. thank you to the amazing staff for another amazing meal.“

You can tell a lot about a pizza place by how good their cheese pizza is, and this one is the absolutely best. Not too greasy, and doesn't flop AT ALL. We happened to order their sheet pizza for our Christmas Fair this past Saturday and everyone needed to know who made the cheese & pepperoni pizza because they were DELISH!!!!
