“I put in an online order and it was ready to go as soon as I walked in. Britney helped me and suggested the honey for the chicken, and boy, was she right! She was very sweet and worked quickly to serve everybody. The food was delicious and fresh, the chicken sliders are more like chicken sandwiches, so you definitely get your money’s worth. I highly recommend Dave’s Hot Chicken!“

“What a wonderful experience! They were so kind as to make me a vegan tikka masala, and it's not even on the menu! That used to be my favorite dish before going vegan in 2017, and this is the first restaurant to ever make a vegan version for me ❤️ I will definitely be back. It was so good!!“

“Love the food. Remind me of my mom's food which is highest level of compliment anyone can provide. Food has always been fresh, I have eaten inside and got it delivered through Uber eats and door dash. Food quality has been consistent. I ordered from this place quite a lot. Keema, Nihari, Naan, Butter Chicken, Chicken Tikka Masala, Achari Gosht, Chicken Curry, Goat Curry, Beef Curry, Biryani, Chapli Kebab, Pakoras. All of these dishes are highly recommended. I wish they actually gave more raita and green chutney, they definitely are stingy on it lol.“

“I had just missed my flight back home and after 5 hours at the airport things began to look rather grim. I then decided to take a walk and by complete luck happened to use this location as a pickup spot for my Uber. What started as me wanting a small snack then turned into a newfound appreciation for Somali cuisine and an eating experience I will have yet to forget. Tawakal Halal gave me the best food and service in about 14 minutes than other establishments have managed to give me in an hour, so great in fact, that I wouldn’t have forgiven myself if I didn’t go a second time before I left. The food by itself is beyond amazing and I could write a whole review entirely on how great the food is, however, my personal favorites were the Goat Biryani and the Halwa as an excellent dessert option after. In addition to the food, the service here was amazing as well. The staff were always making sure I had everything I needed and doing everything they could to make my experience there a pleasant one, even offering me tea as I waited for my Uber. All in all, the best way I could describe this café to anyone wanting to know more about it is that it is truly everything you could ever ask for in a dining experience: fantastic food and amazing service. It even no longer made me upset that I missed my flight that day for if I hadn’t, I would have never been able to find this gem of a café. Thank you, Tawakal Halal, so much for giving me an experience I will never forget and know that when I return to Boston, you can bet the first stop on my itinerary will be your café. “We usually order from a different Shawarma place in Somerville, but decided to give Sam's a try. The food was very good, and in good sized portions. They were good about following requests to leave things out of the wraps. Note that they do the style with fries on the side rather than in the wrap. My only complaint is that they list some, but not all, of the ingredients on their site. So if you have things you can't eat, I definitely recommend calling them to double check. My partner can't do creamy sauces, and they listed tahini sauce but not garlic sauce in the lamb/beef shawarma, which ended up being a problem. Not a huge thing, just annoying that they make it look like everything is listed when it isn't.“

“Wow! This unassuming stall in the 88 Food Connection is home to some really excellent food. We thoroughly enjoy the lamb pilaf and beef noodle soup. The chefs are also very nice folks and we're happy to support this place.

My wife and I have hosted Christmas dinner parties and even had them cater for us every single guest was blown away.

“I have been in this retaurant many many times for lunch buffet. They have great Pakistani food at buffet for very reasonable price. I would highly recommend to enjoy their Buffet. I believe that they serve lunch buffet 7 days a week.“

“My family’s favorite pizza! The people there are also always friendly and helpful. My 17 year old said the chicken bacon ranch pizza is the best they have ever had. I love the cheese so much - I know I should also branch out but it really is so good. “This little tiny cute place looks like a tiny house stretched to be taller. It is right next door to Charlies Kitchen in Harvard Square, Cambridge, MA. You walk in and can go up a few steps where there is a counter to order, and downstairs there is seating for maybe 6-10 people tops. The place is great and is clean and the owner keeps it up well. The food is outstanding and falafel Corner and in particular, they produce some amazing shawarma wraps and rollups - nice and juicy and the veggies have always been fresh. This evening I called ahead and ordered 2 menu items for take out - the chicken shawarma rollup and the vegie combo plate. Both were excellent, tasty, juicy and large enough in portion to satisfy two hungry people. I'd recommend this place to all. A bonus if your into late night food action - I believe it stays open late, to like 3 or 3:30AM.“

“I met the owner chef a little more than two years ago he’s been in business for a total of nine years. His store is so busy. I cannot begin to tell you how great a job he does. It’s like organized chaos when I first started going there. He had two or three orders on the front counter now he has at least 15 or 20 every time I walk in the door. He is so nice so friendly no matter how busy he is always a big hello in the smile very very nice person. Parking ?️ you have the option of looking for meter parking or parking in the garage which is less than 1/2 block and is a reasonable price . The price of the food is good for the quality and portion size .

Parking: Paid parking less the 1/2 a block the price is reasonable. Or you can look for meter parking but it’s a bit difficult .“
