“I always have such a great experience at Captain Bonnie’s Ice Cream Shop! This place is a perfect mix of delicious food, great prices, and a welcoming atmosphere. The food is fantastic, and their sundaes and milkshakes are definitely a highlight—so tasty and made just right every time. There’s something for everyone, whether you’re stopping in for a quick treat or a full snack. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, especially Lauryn and Sarah. They both go out of their way to make customers feel welcome and taken care of, which really adds to the overall experience. One of the best parts is how affordable everything is—you get great quality without breaking the bank. Plus, the play area for kids is amazing! It makes this spot perfect for families, giving kids a fun place to enjoy while parents can relax. Captain Bonnie’s is such a gem. “I loved the food, but if you say your dog friendly then actually be considerate if a dog barks once or twice. I was told I would have to leave if my dog barks again (only barked once because he got excited about food and being in a new place). Just my opinion, but if you list yourself as a dog friendly place then you should expect not all dogs are just going to sit still and not bark or move around a bit. Dogs aren’t made to just sit still. I would love to come back as long as they don’t complain about me bringing my dog.“

“We recently had Avocados and it was delicious! The steak tips and meatloaf were cooked perfect but our personal favorite was the clam chowder!! We can't wait to eat here again! :)“

“We've been to many of the area's restaurants searching for the "1". From Providence to P Town and back again. I get veal parm at the Italian restaurants to compare. I was delighted last night when we tried Costa's! The pasta could have been cooked a little less but the veal parm and marinara sauce were truly delicious! Ate in the North End last week before a Bruins game. The veal parm at Costa's was so much better! Don't be put off by the decor. It's a casual place with great food and very good service. I watched the chef preparing the food and he is special! I really want to go back and sample the rest of the menu!“

“Very good food at reasonable prices. The menu is also quite varied. Sitting at the counter I was able to observe a lot of how the staff performs. They are always in motion. If they have a few seconds they'll do a variety of things related to maintenance. They operate like a well oiled machine. Terrific place to eat. My comments relate to the Blueberry Muffin in Cedarville.Try the Breakfast BLT.“

“Pretty awesome little stop. Got two fish and chips. The gentleman working there was pleasant and funny, like that quirky uncle you only see once a year at Thanksgiving.
Fish was cooked perfect, xtra thick filet, i didnt ask but i think it was cod, generous portion of fries.
Will be back to try out more of the menu and shakes.

“I worked with the Perkins Family for 15 years of my life! Many trips with ed jr down the cape and he has always had a passion for cooking and we had many conversations about it on our trips back n forth from the cape! I had lost touch for awhile and had heard ed jr had his own restaurant now and we had recently gone down the cape to visit my girlfriends dad at the military cemetery and we made sure we stopped in to check it out and im not surprised that his presentation and food is so good! So happy to hear of your success Ed and we will definitely be going back as much as we can!!🫡“

If you asked me 1.5 years ago, this would be an easy five stars. But having been here twice, I had two wildly different experiences. The first was perfect — the food was delectable, it was served efficiently, and the waitstaff was accommodating. However, the second time we visited most recently, the food was not near the same level of quality. Some of the dishes we loved previously had changed for worse (e.g., the fish and chips) and service was SLOW. We waited on our food for a very long time and spent hours more at dinner than we expected. Not sure what was going on, but the party I was with left not wanting to ever come back. I would give it another chance as our first experience was phenomenal, but the inconsistency did raise some concern.

I love the concept of this restaurant and the atmosphere is truly fantastic for people interested in the farm-to-table, garden style of the place — but I would need to visit again to determine whether this is truly worth the time and money, or if it was a one-time fluke.“
