“I have enjoyed going here in the past however recently the service has been poor. They forgot to put food i ordered in my bag and I didn't realize until I got home and the wraps I did order were overcooked and very hard like they were left out for awhile and not fresh.”

Not only was everyone happy to be together, all agreed it was a perfect morning all around. “My wife and I attended today's 1230 Fireside Feast and it was definitely worth the two hour drive. The staff was excellent answering all of our questions and service during the dinner was over the top. The downstairs was crowded but everything was orderly with cheese and crackers, mulled cider and wine being served. The bar staff made some really festive cocktails. Once we were upstairs, the chowder was creamy and filled with clams. All of the food was hot and the prime rib was roasted perfectly over the fire. This was our first time going and will be back again next season. Thank you to all of the staff, not only host, servers, bar tenders and others we interacted with but also those behind the scene. These would be food preps, dish washers, chefs and anyone else who works at Salem Cross Inn. Merry Christmas and we will be back next season. Thank You.”

“Monson Pizza has been our go to for many years! The pizza is of course scrumptious but the grinders are what we crave week after week. It can be hard to phone in an order as the line is always ringing off the hook but we usually order inside and it’s ready in no time! The team is always friendly and never stops hustling despite how busy it always is.”

What really made it stand out though was the ice cream rich, creamy, and the perfect sweet finish after a great meal. It’s not every day you find a spot that does both pizza and ice cream this well. “We went for breakfast, the two women up front were so sweet. The lady turned on the witch for my baby to see, and even came out in the pouring rain to give her candy on our way out. They were closing early, but they were amazing to us even 30 minutes to closing when we came in. ( I didn’t realize they were closing early for the holiday.) The price and the service is far beyond 5 stars! Highly recommended stopping for a bite to eat. The food was just as amazing as the people working!”
