“Not only was the Baba , Peach Gazpacho and chicken Shastish delish , but Chef David took the time to chat with us in 100 degree weather and served us a sample of his staffs lunch he was preparing for them today ...his moms fav dish when he was a kid... THE MESSY SANDWICH ! Homemade Crispy BLT , heirloom tomato with a hit of peanut butter . Hope he puts it on the menu someday but more importantly know he's "the real deal" born and raised New England cool, creative and genuine - cheers to you Chef David !!!“

“Great Food , Good atmosphere“

“We stopped in on the way home from the airport, and it was amazing! From the moment we walked in the door, we felt welcomed. The atmosphere and food were awesome. I highly recommend the Mickey’s Chicken special and the red sangria which was a deep dark red- as sangria should be. Yum! My children loved our Irish waitress who Made them laugh and feel special. This restaurant is over an hour from where we live, but there is no doubt we will travel back often. Wonderful experience!“

“5 STAR TREATMENT!!! We had my husbands surprise birthday party there last night for 40 guests and it went off without a hitch! Jim the manager went out of his way to check all the little details that make an event special from custom menus to an easel for a sign. The waitstaff was wonderful and accommodating! “First time at Cityside last night and it was great! The Nachos were so good I wish we had gotten a large, the buffalo wings had a nice crisp to them which made them amazing. For entrees I had the fish tacos which were good but not all that and my fiancé had the cheesesteaks which can’t be compared to cheesesteaks on the North shore but still good. The drinks were good but pretty pricey. My fiancé liked every drunk he got besides the Mai Tai. It was super nice being on the roof top which made the entire night 💕 I definitely would recommend.“

“I have lived in the Boston-esque area for twelve years and have eaten so many good meals, but the fish tacos here are the only meal I needed to have before my upcoming move out west(ern MA). Cocktails are fun and creative, service is 13/10, the XL portions of fries that require to-go boxes are the only fries I’ve ever found to reheat well, and if you’re lucky, Steve will be tending bar. I love going at the slightly quieter times but I’ll never gatekeep the euphoria experienced by a meal here. Bonus perks: Max & Chelsea have the best senses of humor, the murals on the patio are always amazing, the beer and wine selection are vast (also the mocktails!), and the decor always feels like your favorite “I Spy” book.“

“Il Capriccio always delivers! We had delicious food- some apps, mostly fish mains. Fish was fresh and tasty, apps (tuna tartare, mushroom/polenta, lobster/corn croquette) were slightly different from usual choices elsewhere and again, fresh and good. Cocktails were prepared well and service was attentive. Hadn't been in a while, but glad to see standards continue to remain high.“

“I love StockYard. We haven't been in a long time as we moved faraway. Now, after 10 years we came back and it was like we never stopped coming to eat here. The food was super delicious. The NY Sirloin, and the tenderness of the Fille Minog was extraordinary. Outstanding customer service. The drinks were superb. “I've gone to Cook twice and both times have been impressed with the quality of food and service we received. Depending on the night, I would definitely recommend a reservation. The last time I went, I ordered Pita bread starter, Steak Tips, Bog drink (can't remember the exact name), and Peach Sangria. The drinks were both good. Cant complain. The starter was good - warm pita served with muhamara and cheese. Great start to the dinner. The main dish arrived, and it was decently portioned. The steak tips were cooked perfectly, the potato croquette side was solid, and I could take or leave the broccoli. Overall, very satisfied. I am sure we will be back.“

“Great service, great atmosphere, great locals. Beer and spirit selection perfect for the area. Prices are ideal. Bring your own food in with some good options nearby, they sell rotating chips for $1.50 which is clutch for late night snack. Every employee I ever encountered showed respect and hospitality to their guests. Really isn't a better place in Brighton. The restaurant group has some of the top bars in Boston.

Parking: Easy street parking. 57 bus access. Ubers never a wait.

Wheelchair accessibility: Street level, plenty of space to move, easy to order a drink, and staff assistance who are more than willing to help if needed.“

“A hidden gem that opened last year and now our weekly go-to for Japanese - sashimi, sushi, ramen and poke bowls. The staff is very friendly and the owner, Anna, makes you feel so at home. The sashimi/sushi are fresh, delicious and prepared beautifully. The cocktails are creative and well made - mai tais, pistachio martinis, you name it. The kids (and adults) enjoy various fruit teas/slushees with optional boba. They also offer Chinese and Thai food on the menu. Staples like beef teriyaki sticks, sichuan fried rice or tangerine beef are must haves and often added to our meals with lots of leftovers to go home with. Highly recommend Wasabi Asian Bistro&Bar to anyone looking for great Asian food.“

“First but definately not our last visit. My wife and I stopped by on our way home to RI. The hostest was welcoming and pointed us to the bar, where we were greated by Fredo. We enjoyed the flavorful salsa, tasty food and drinks. Fredo regularly checked on us and we enjoyed some good conversation. “On a very busy Saturday night, we enjoyed dinner with another couple. The next day, I discovered that I had lost my money clip with cash. Not sure where I could have lost it, I contacted Victory Lane, as a long shot. Well, I received a call that they had my money clip and I could pick it up at the bar. To my shock, the money was still in the clip! I told the barmaid how unbelievable it was that after two days, it was recovered in tact. “Went to this restaurant after seeing it featured on Phantom Gourmet and my husband and myself left full of good food. The food was tasty and came to our table ready to eat and the service was great! They gave us everything we needed in a timely manner. The restaurant was on a smaller scale but we got a table pretty quickly without making a reservation. We even had the dessert of the strawberry shaved ice which had a bowl that was big enough to easily feed the two of us and it was very delicious!“

We especially enjoyed the excellent selection of local beers, which paired perfectly with the meal. The food was delicious, fresh, and full of flavour.
