“We asked to be seated in the bar area because it often is quiet during lunch hours and it was. The food was delicious and our service was perfect. The waitress was around just at the times we might want her nearby. All in all we enjoyed a perfect lunch.“

“Cook in Needham is my favorite place for brunch every weekend. Dinner and Lunch here are also fantastic. The food is outstanding but what it makes more special is the service and kindness from the staff. Johnny is the absolute best and he has always taken great care of us and remembered us. Well done, juicy and flovorful. We had the chicken sandwich, fish tacos and deserts. ( Creme Brulee and Brownie ). All the food was phenomenal. Staff is also extremely friendly and the ambience very inviting.“

“We recently stayed in Newton for a mini vacation from Canada (visiting Boston). Every night of our stay we ate at this restaurant. I know, not overly adventurous but when the food is this good and the atmosphere is right, why bother looking? You won’t find better! We tried: - Pan seared chicken: AMAZING. - Fish and chips: when you live on the east coast it’s hard to get good fish and chips but these hit the mark! - Filet Mignon: Full of flavour and tender. - Steak Tips: Again, tender and full of flavour. - Risotto: Wonderfully strong mushroom flavour but yet offset with a field of flavours. - Scallops: Seared to perfection. - Short-rib Meatballs: Meat and cheese combo to die for. - Calamari: Another difficult one to get right and find fresh! This was one of my favourite with the dip and hot peppers. - Sirloin: Cooked to perfection, flavour was a hit and a good portion size, well worth the money. THE HOUSE SALAD: All I can say, EMAIL ME THE RECIPE FOR THE DRESSING!! This was the best item for me on the menu. Fresh, simple and full of flavour. I got it with every meal. So to recap: 10/10“

“We had a wonderful experience and have returned a few times. All of our dishes were tasty except for the ninebark salad. It was delicious although for the price they were extremely skimpy with the lettuce, and I finished my salad and watched everyone else enjoy their dishes. If you charge that price point for a salad I believe you should be generous with the foundation of the dish which is lettuce.“

“We have had breakfast lunch at Eli’s several times, and have always had a great experience. Creative offerings, delicious food, large portions, great service. If we lived closer, we would eat there more often. Highly recommend!“

“Looking for dinner options along Moody Street and this was an easy choice. I've been to Dallas and had a fun evening in their Deep Ellum neighborhood so why would I skip the opportunity to try it again.

Lots of options here, considering we have meat eaters, pescatarians and kosher eaters in the group tonight. We started off with a plate of their pickles and they were fabulous. With it, beers! Including a draft German beer for me and a tin of a non-alcoholic for Mrs. K.

For main, I chose the Italian sandwich and it was fabulous. Well loaded and very tasty if perhaps a little messy. But that's what napkins are for. Mrs. K. chose the grilled cheese and said it was excellent.

Great service here and we had a fabulous evening. Five stars!“

“If I need to stop on the Mass Pike, I always try to make sure it's at one of the rest stops with a Cheesey Street.
The food is delicious, and it's great to support small business.
Which sandwich to get is always a hard decision, but I usually get either the Caprese or the classic 3 cheese, sometimes with bacon.“

“Had a delicious dinner last night at Avenue and wish we had checked it out sooner. Amazing wine and cocktail. Tried the Brie appetizer and Avenue Flatbread, which were both delicious and unique! Spiro, our server, was so attentive and knowledgeable. Service was excellent! Wish we had room for dessert bc that also sounded great but I guess we just have to go back soon“

“This was my second evening dinner at Branch Line, and it was as good as the first. Which is not easy to do, as an excellent first impression and first taste creates expectations it is hard to live up to. But they did. Location was perfect for a pre-theater dinner, as a group of us were going to a performance at the Mosesian theater, which is a 2 minute walk to a neighboring building. And the free covered parking is quite nice on a cold night. Reception and service were excellent. Food rich with flavor, and interesting. The rotisserie chicken - three varieties - is the signature dish, but all other in group ordered lamb, and were very pleased. Wines are interesting and fairly priced. Only reason I pulled pack one star on ambience was because it was a decidedly cold and windy evening, and our table was in the line of the entry door, so several at the table felt the need to bundle up a bit. No big deal. The place was packed and jumping. As it should be. Because we live two hours from Boston, I don't get there too often, but this is my top of the list go-to-when-in Boston restaurant choice.“

“I just discovered this gem after moving from Philly to Natick 2 years ago. I am obsessed. It was like I was eating my mom’s or grandmom’s best and freshest homemade soups (which nothing has ever been able to compare to until now). Low sodium options are amazing - you can’t find from scratch, quality ingredient made stuff like this easily. I will be a regular customer!“

We also ordered the chicken and bacon rigatoni, the wings and a burger with Cajun fries. Everything was excellent. Burger made to order. Pasta perfectly cooked and everything was very well seasoned. Portions were amazing. We forgot to take pictures because we were really hungry.“

“Got the Chickpea Fritter Platter and absolutely loved it! As a college student, it can be really hard sometimes to find places with good healthy food that doesn't break the bank! “I had lunch with my daughter and we both thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The service was friendly and efficient, and the value was great for the quality.  We each had a cup of the tomato basil soup which comes with the most delicious crostini. Highly recommend it. My daughter had a spicy pasta with a pink sauce, bacon and some vegetables, which was succulent, and I had a lovely salad with grilled chicken. We were too full for dessert. While we did have a reservation, so we didn't wait at all, I think most of the time walk-ins are welcome because this is a café within a department store so people don't stay for very long.“
